Many people struggle to make sense of all the diets and weight loss strategies out there.

Count calories, go keto, eat this not that, more protein, less carbs, etc.

It's nauseating just to think about all the contradicting advice.

It is much much easier to get more energy and lose weight when you understand that what matters most is quality of food.

You can not out supplement a poor diet. The quality of food you eat makes all the difference between a good diet and a poor diet.

Knowing where your food comes from is the most important part of diet design.

If you buy your groceries at a convenience store, then the likelihood of it lacking nutrients is high.

In this episode we discuss changes to our diet that helped us recover from hiking the Manitou Incline stairs. This hike is a very intense hike where you gain over 2,000 ft elevation in just 0.88 of a mile at 45% grade at the steeper areas.


To prepare for this hike we made changes to our diet that helped us get more energy and build muscle. This same approach also helped us to recover after the hike.
