I am so excited you’re here! I’ve been an avid podcast listener since Serial came out 5 years ago, so I’m so excited to be able to share and collaborate with you on a new platform I love!

This first episode I thought it would be fun to share with you my journey of how I went from cubicle zombie to CEO because I think many of you can relate to my story. I’ve never shared the full story of how I got started, maybe on Instagram a little bit or my email list, so I thought this would be perfect to do as the introduction because it’s really the foundation of what this podcast is about: the stories, experiments, and tools that are behind the scenes in building an authentic, purposeful brand.

You know, you see these people you follow on Instagram and you’re like, 'ugh I want to be like them” or 'how can I do that?' Well, it’s so possible for you and Behind the Design is serving as a raw, authentic platform for what it takes to go after your dreams no matter your circumstance, your education or what you think is possible because it all is.

For me, entrepreneurship created a life of freedom and abundance and allows me to wake up everyday and do what I love, so if I can inspire, motivate and support you in doing the same every episode, then I’ve accomplished what I’ve set out to achieve.
