  • Barbie opened to $162M domestically, the highest domestic opening of all time for a female-directed film, and grossed an additional $194M internationally for a worldwide total of $356.3M.
  • Oppenheimer opened to $82.4M domestically and $98M internationally for a worldwide total of $180M.
  • This weekend made for the biggest total domestic opening weekend of 2023, and the 4th-highest domestic opening weekend of all time, only behind Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Avengers: Endgame.
  • Sound of Freedom made an additional $19.8M this past weekend.
  • Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One grossed $19.5M domestically, bringing its worldwide total to $370M.
  • Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny came in at number 5 with $7M domestically, bringing its worldwide total to $355M.

  • Insidious: The Red Door took an additional $13M domestically, a drop of 66%, for a domestic total of $58M and world-wide total of $122M.
  • Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny passed the $300M mark globally this weekend.
  • Elemental, in its fifth week of release only dropped 13% to $8.7M, bringing its worldwide cumulative total to $312M.
