Ever wondered about the thoughts that come after shaving ALL? your hair off ...
I’m this episode Celeste and I explore the different thoughts and emotions we both felt after shaving our hair. We talk about freedom and pain surrounding our journey.
Have you ever shaved your hair off? How did you feel? Why did you do it? How did it make you feel beautiful?
SO curious to know! Leave a message or even DM on on IG.
S2 E5 Rediscovering Your Personal Authenticity
Picture this, you go to a photoshoot that your friend organized. You weren't too sure if you were going to make it cause you took the wrong train and ended up being an hour late. You push through and got to meet some dope ass people. One person in particular you gravitated towards and loved listening to them work through their thoughts. Fast forward, its a Saturday and yall are sitting recording an episode in Prospect Park :)
... love to see it.
In this episode, Calliope and I delve into the conversation of rediscovering your personal authenticity and what it means for us to find our personal authenticity.
As always I hope you enjoy the episode and all it has to offer!
S2. E4 Giving Up On A Dream
Welcome back everyone to another episode of Behind Closed Doors Podcast!
We're back with another solo episode for this week! Can't lie, I was nervous (and you'll definitely hear me say that throughout the episode).
In this episode I talk about rejection being a form of redirection and protection, what it means to chase after a dream that doesn't seem to be working out, and trying to understand what makes past self and motivations from present self.
S2. E3. A talk about everything: From feeling your feelings to being authentically yourself w/ Maria
Welcome back to another episode of Behind Closed Doors.
This episode I would have to say is one of my favorites. Not only was it filmed outside but it happened so organically. I went up with a friend, and one thing led to another, and BOOM an episode was recorded.
This episode touches on many topics, from community to feeling our feelings to abstract art.
Feel free to sit back, relax, and listen to Maria and me talk about everything.
S2. E2. Cheers to change
Welcome back to another episode of Behind Closed Doors!
This episode took me some timeee to record, and when I say time, I mean timeeeee.
I started to get flustered and eventually frustrated from how hot it was and not being able to articulate what I wanted to, even after writing a whole script.
I was very close to quitting.
Decided to change locations and once again got flustered. But these two women passed in front of my camera and asked me what I was recording for and at that moment I realized that I am enough to share my voice.
This episode touches on the frustration I felt whilst trying to make this video and how that one interaction changed my point of view.
S2 E1: A Welcome Back Message
Welcome Back, Everyone!
We are entering season two of the Behind Closed Door podcast, where I hope to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. This season I've been faced with a lot of uncertainty; it often feels like I'm in a worldwide and can't find my footing. Knowing that, that I cannot control the things around me, I decided to focus on the thing that I can and that's how I spend my time.
I started thinking about my podcast again and decided that this is the time to bring it back.
Can't wait to dive into this season!
Walk through the door with me ...
S1. E.23 The Art of The Pivot w/ Alex
Welcome back to another episode of Behind Closed Doors. A podcast geared towards bringing conversations about life to the forefront.
In this episode, we talk about the art of the pivot or the art of change, and what it feels like to change the direction of our lives. This episode came about due to my own personal endeavors and wanted to create a space where we can dive into and understand more about those "unwanted" feelings that arise during a process of change.
I'm so happy that I was about to share this space with my friend Alex and hear his own experiences dealing with his own pivot.
Hope you enjoy this podcast episode and as always look out for more!
S1. Ep.22 We're Not Really Strangers w/ Alex
In today's episode, Alex and I decided to play a game of 'We're Not Really Strangers'. This episode was inspired by my love for deep connections as this game has a great way of digging out the vulnerability.
S1. Ep.21 Twenty Sum: Who are We? w/ Eva
In a world that consistently tells us who we are, what we should be doing, and how we should be doing it, it makes it easy to see where a lot of our anxieties and doubts stem from. In my case, there have been several moments where I would allow comparisons to rule me and force me to think what I am doing is not good enough. That isn't the case. What we are doing right now is the best that we can possibly do as twenty sums. This is the period where we fuck up, learn and move on, this is the period of life where we fall intentionally and fall forward because what's on the other side of the fall will always be a lesson.
In this episode Eva and I talk about all things "Self": Knowing, Finding, Living. We dig deep into some deep-rooted truths and face them head-on.
As always I hope you enjoy this episode! Make sure to like, comment, and share.
S1. Ep.20 Rediscoverin love w/ Jade
What does love mean to you? What has influenced who you love and who loves you?
In this episode, Jade and I touched on multiple different topics. We talked about the love that we accept, loving based on the love we receive, dating, and so much more.
Enjoy!

S1. Ep.18 Understandin' the Journey w/ Leila Marie
Welcome back to another episode from my segment, "Understandin the Journey," where I invite those around me to understand their steps to get where they are. S1. Ep.15 Navigating hard relationships, living life during the pandemic as a creative, and understanding rejection as a redirection S
In this new episode, Felisha and I dropped so many gems. We talked about boundaries; setting, revisiting, and holding on to them, and also about rejection. Rejection oftentimes leaves us thinking that we are the inherent problem in the situation, that because we are the way we are that is the reason why we were rejected. However, that is not the case. Rejection is often redirection in disguise because it leads us to the people and places we were meant to meet and be.
