Keeping Up With the Coronavirus
The Coronavirus has affected all of us, and in all parts of our lives. In this episode, our seniors share their personal stories, including how the virus has affected their personal lives, school, extracurriculars, and college admissions. We find out how they're feeling about everything, from missing their friends to studying at "Zoom University" (or high school). They provide great feedback on how schools can improve the experience for everyone involved and make distance learning slightly more bearable. Finally, they share how quarantine has allowed them to get a head start on the college admissions process, whether they're participating in virtual tours, drafting essays, or doing some research.
Meeting our Seniors
College Admissions is hell. And college admissions never changes. After college admissions admission, the majority of high school seniors would agree with this, but with this new documentary series produced by hosts Michael Gao and Sean Cai, we explore the journeys of 8 high school seniors throughout the 2020-2021 application cycle. If you're a high school senior, starting the college admissions process in quarantine may be a daunting task. We're here to highlight the fears, failures, and successes of our diverse high school cohort. While the process is daunting for all, our cohort shows that everyone eventually finds their own way through it. In this first episode, we get an introduction to all of our seniors and their fears, preferences, and initial insight into starting the college application process.
