President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of Somalia recently sacked his long-serving Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre recently due to a conflict of interest. Since then, the stakes have been high in Somalia politics with interesting few months ahead with the upcoming national Elections on 2021. Widespread whistleblowers within President Farmaajo's government indicate that the President is seeking extension and this has resulted to fear of a conflict to arise if there is no agreed formula for the 2021 elections.
President Farmaajo faces parliament before he embarks on the crucial election forum to take place in the town of Dhuusamareeb in Galmudug region of Somalia.
