How unresolved issues are hindering your weight loss progress
I made it to a hospital and as a result, I'm here talking to you today.
At that time I had to J.U.M.P. and no, I don't mean the physical act of jumping. I had to put in the work.
I mean I could have grabbed a rope, felt good FOR THE MOMENT, but I wouldn't have solved any of my issues. It would be equivalent to sweeping the issues under the rug.
Holding on to unresolved issues will keep you stuck and in mental/emotional bondage.
Staying in this kind of bondage will keep you stuck in habits that are not conducive to your weight loss/fitness/wellness goals.
Work on your mind and the body will follow.
I'm not discounting jump rope and/or exercise. It's great maintain but you gotta deal with those deep rooted issues.

Preventing Mom Burnout

One week you’re super focused amd make good choices. The next week you feel like you're all over the place.
Before you do an entire lifestyle overhaul, I want you to ask yourself one question:
"WHERE CAN I ADD MORE CONSISTENCY?"
Consistency breeds results with anything.
If you are wanting to improve your health, body and fitness, do a mental check of where you need more consistency.
My biggest piece of advice is to do this in small increments. Too many changes all at once can be overwhelming and hard for you to integrate into a habitual routine.
So what's your focus for this next week?
Consistent water intake per day?
Moving your body at least 30 minutes a day?
Removing a particular food or way of cooking certain foods?
Getting to the gym?
Going to sleep earlier?
Staying away from restaurant foods?
Taking your supplements?
I could go on and on.
There are a lot of pieces that need to be in place for you to have lasting fitness results.
It's better to be GREAT at a few things, than to be all out with everything, only to get burnt out and give up on the whole process.
I am writing this 10/31/2019. From 11/1/2019 - 11/30/19, I will be joining the The Strong Island and Queens Border Double Dutch Club for a Jump rope and Water challenge.
