What do we do as we wait for God to accomplish His work? Waiting doesn’t mean inactivity.  It means trusting in God to what is best, even if we don’t understand it. 

Habakkuk says the “righteous live by faith.” We can look at God’s goodness in our own lives, to help us deal with present problems.  We need to leave behind any idols and put faith and trust in God alone.  

Habakkuk questions God. God doesn’t seem to be fair and there seems like there is no justice in the world. God responds to Habakkuk’s questions and tells him that He is not slow but patient and will bring about justice in His way and His time.
