The Four Coaches talk with local basketball talent Jashon Lewis who was recently a first round draft pick to California Sea Kings team of the Semi-Pro League: The Basketball League. Jashon talks about his playing years in Rocklin at Whitney High School, and his journey that took him to Yuba College, American River College and now to The Basketball League. Hear about his "unique path" to get where he is today and follow his career with the Sea Kings. The Sea Kings home court is at San Jose State Univesity, and their season starts TONIGHT!
This was a special episode as Coach Lance was Jashon's coach from 4th grade, all the way through high school!

Our first episode featuring a special guest! "Ref Ken" joins us to answer some questions about the "toughest position on the court" - The Ref. Listen up and go into the mind and life of a basketball referee like you have never heard before. With 15+ years of experience, and experience at the D1 collegiate level, Ref Ken shares part of "the journey" of a referee. He also answers some tough questions - are those that ref good or bad as fans? How did COVID affect referees? Is there such thing as a "make-up" call? - and so much more!
