Part of our caregiving series, Shana sits down with Heidi Barham from Hospice of the Western Reserve as they discuss caregiving and what it means. They discuss what hospice care truly means and when to consider hospice care. Join in on conversations on how those who are caregivers need to take care of themselves, how hospice care can be accessed, and common misconceptions about hospice care.

For many of us, thinking back to visiting our grandparents' homes is a vivid memory. Or we remember going over to a childhood friend's home and their parents welcoming us in.  We remember the smells, the people, the furniture, and the sense of peace and safety. Our guest Robin Wilson of Clean Home Design talks to us about how they passed the baton to us and left clues on how we can do this for our friends and family.

This one was personal. The new book Dream Town, Shaker Heights and the Quest for Racial Equity is taking Cleveland by storm.  As a  Shaker alumna, former teacher and parent, Shana spoke with Laura Meckler, the author of Dream Town to unpack the history, successes and personal experiences while trying to live life by the ‘Shaker way.’

Shana sits down with SeMia Bray and David Wilson from The Black Environmental Leaders Association of Cleveland. They address what Environmental Justice truly means and the impacts of the environment on the lives of everyone.

The second episode of our #LetsVoteCleveland campaign. Shana talks with Cleveland resident and Founder Charesha Barrett of Charp EDucation consulting. She give perspective and links the lesson from our history and social studies classes to help make voting understandable.

There are only a few days left to register to vote in Ohio.  Shana's is joined by Jennifer Lumpkin from Cleveland Vote to discuss the how and why of registering. She also give tips on how we can engage with others to encourage them to vote this November.
