The morning of this episode recording Decaf warned us that he was going to evicerate both Murphy and Mark. Oh and boy did he apply his critique of the past few episodes in his very special Decaf way. So, aside from the verbal lashing and criticism we took time to talk about Murph going all fan-boy on a tweet. We also talk about what radio DJ's inspired us.
This week Decaf, Murph, and Mark get in to some car talk. They also give an update and hot-takes on what is happening in Georgia. Decaf gets an update on one of Murphy's old opinions to see what he thinks today. Finally we talk about a Florida Man who's in the news this past week.
This week we talk about Mark's sense of style. We also talk about at what point do we give up on a book we are reading if it's not working for us. That and we get old again and talk about how different generations react to Lizzo.
What a great way to start of the episode. Murphy made a mistake that may be fatal. We talk about getting old (kind of a reoccurring theme here) and we have a state of the podcast. Since it seems that only some of us are paying attention, some of the time.
This week we get to all witness the continual maintenance that Decaf now requires. We also dive back into the comic book movie talk. Plus we wrap up talking about video games. Or, rather, Decaf and Murph do.
MURRRRRRPH! DECAF! IS! BACK!
Join us as we learn about what has been keeping Decaf away from the glory that is BLATHER the podcast. Be amused and befuddled at how picky a fanboy Murphy is when it comes to Thor: Ragnarok. Finally we discuss the news about Joss Whedon and try to figure out how we should feel about this.
This week Murphy and I geek out and go on and on about Apple and the new Mac's. As well as share some tech tales. Additionally, we give our takes on the differences between the DC and Marvel movie universes. Finally Murphy has to share a hot-take!
We start this episode with our normal, standard, only, bit and it goes right down hill from there. In the second part however we have a deep conversation about the existance of Santa and what that means to us and to our famlies.
No, seriously, we had a great conversation about this and it was all deep and philosophical as all-get-out.
Hey gang, it's time for Andy Social's Spankwagon Radio Throwback
Imagine being transported to the year 2006 and you come across a Jones Soda Holiday Pack. Of course you're smart, all you did was, point, laugh, and walk past. Spankwagon was never that smart.
MAAAAAAAAAAD PRRRROOOOPPPSSSS to Andy Social for putting together this treasure of audio. Join Murphy, Chief, Studio Troll, and me as we take a nice dive down gastrointestinal loathing memory lane.
This week we happily talk about the election and recap all the news and events as it pertains to us. Honestly I should have a better description of the episode but I'm too damn lazy. Just listen and enjoy (?)
Who would have guessed that this week would have talked about these two topics? Baseball and Politics. SHOCKING! RIGHT? Yeah, I know, not-shocking. Anywho. We wrap up the baseball talk about the World Series. We review some other baseball news. Finally we talk about the elections and have a discussion about the electoral college. Yeah, we go high-brow-ish. LISTEN IN!
This episode we take a few moments to catch up on our various illnesses and maladies. We then explore the fun that is failed improvements. You know, software updates that are crap. Or, "improvements" that are anything but! Check out what we mean.
This week we talk about homeownership horror stories! We divert into the lighter topic of political figures and their health! Wrapping up the show with some fun Chuck Tingle book titles! Really who would blame you if you missed out on this extravaganza!?
This week (which is a couple of weeks ago) we start of talking about hair and hair loss! But hey, we pick up the mood talking about great soundtracks! Only to bring everything back down talking about the late RGB and Decaf's pet situation.
This week we are joined by the world famous and slightly older now, Scuba Steve!!! Of course we spend the time talking about getting old, and since we are all a bunch of geeks, we talk tech. Oh, can anyone fix Scuba Steve's router/network issue? Anyone? Help?
This week we talk about what the First Amendment really means. We talk about our Social Media use. Plus some more baseball talk, this time about the ads in stands. That and Mark again makes a horrible tasteless joke. So, you know, a normal show.
Okay gang, we are back from break, so let's check off the typical show topics!
Covid Talk - Check
Baseball Talk - Check
Pro Wrestling Talk - Check
Murphy's Missing Knee - Check
Someone Paying Us To Put Out This Garbage - HOLY WHAT! CHECK!? YES! CHECK! WOAH. HOLY CRAP!
Ahem, sorry just got a little excited. Seriously, thank you to our mysterious benifactor for contributing to the show and soon, we may even have something special for you.
Ah, this is what this podcast is really about. Three longtime friends trashing each other and sharing stories of things that are going on. Such as how Mark's local comic guy is surviving Covid. Murph getting crapped on by both Mark, Decaf, and the house that wants to murder him. Oh, and we learn what new job Mark has! Join us as we meander around and absorb some of your bandwidth.
This week we intended to talk about our Twitch Stream, however, the show turned into a technical poop-fest. So, listen in and enjoy what chaos this show has turned into. Much like most of the shows we make. So, nothing new under the sun!
This episode we pick up where we left off with our smashing hot takes and general misanthropy. Additionally, we discuss the current state of affairs with the Black Lives Matter movement and the trend of companies using it, seemly, as a marketing tool. Finally, Decaf shares his thoughts, feelings, and experiences with us on growing up Black in Vegas; and how he approaches others who are just don't understand what the movement is communicating.
This week we talk about WCW.
Well, rather, Decaf both quizzes and learns a bit of 1990's Pro Wrestling lore from Chris and Mark!
As mentioned in the episode, this topic was inspired by a great video explainer from YouTuber Matt McMuscles called, "WCW - What Happened?"
We can't just waste good content, RIGHT?!
Well, we kept the mics hot after the normal show and this was recorded after the Customer Service! Sorta? *** episode. Needless to say, we got stuck in "old farts reminiscing about days of yore" mode. Anyhow, enjoy this bonus episode.
This episode we talk about customer service and we share some stories. Oh, and, we're not the customers in these stories, this time we are the ones providing the service and support. Listen in as we share some stories and, as we do, go off the rails a few times too!
*** Note *** I had to edit out a couple of names, so I replaced them with an obnoxious foghorn. You're welcome.
This week we talk politics and the demise of the Bernie Sanders campaign. We also explore other issues that we see as detrimental to the Democratic Party. Interestingly, all of us were off our game and boy the energy was, mellow.
This week we review Decaf's twitter adventure. Next, we break down what we believe are the best movie scenes, with a few side notes and distractions. Finally, we reinforce the fact that Mark is pop culture deficient.
This week we talk about moments of failure. Chris and Mark go the non-personal route, and Decaf shares a personal failure that illustrates how mature he is. What we are saying here is Chris and Mark are failures at sharing emotions. Not much of a surprise actually.
You knew this would happen! You knew we would do this! You knew that it had to be!
YES! It's the triumphant inclusion of Big Daddy Decaf! Join us as the crew from Spankwagon, er, Blather, discuss Decaf's new Novel, "Afromedus Jivewalker: The Keys of Day and Darkness" (AVAILABLE NOW ON AMAZON!).
Of course this episode goes right to the depths of Spankwagon depravity, and we all know who to blame.
This week we reminisce about how we use to be unprofessional with how things were cobbled together in the old LVRocks days. We then go on to prove that we are still just as unprofessional today. We gripe about Covid-19. Oh, and let's learn that Murphy's baseball knowledge is a complete sham.
This week we talk about the "Right To Repair". You have to listen to us say what is obvious, but I strongly recommend doing so.
Since we said we would post them here are a couple of links that we covered in this episode.
