It’s Maundy Thursday, The Last Supper, and Holy Week

It’s Maundy Thursday, The Last Supper, and Holy Week

Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Hey Everyone Thank You for tuning in. In today’s special Holy Week Episode is Maundy Thursday this has been observed by many as The Last Supper and what I would consider Jesus’s last teaching to His disciples to show them true leadership and showing humility in service towards one another by washing His disciples feet. It’s so amazing to me to see Jesus in the last moments or should I say the last days before his crucifixion that he was still teaching and serving his disciples this was the day that he would have a final time with his disciples by having a Passover meal with them. all of this was preparing him for his ultimate sacrifice for all mankind. In this episode, I read through several chapters of the gospel to see the differences between, what one writer had to say whether it was Matthew or whether it was Luke or whether it was John, each one has a different variation of the account of what happened at that table at the Passover meal. As always, thank you for listening. I pray that this episode will encourage you and inspire you. Please subscribe and share. https://cash.app/$blknerd50

Palm Sunday: The King to be Worshipped: Day 4 of a devotional reading entitled King of Kings 👑

Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in! This is an incredible moment in the life of Christ, that we get to remember and honour on Palm Sunday. Sometimes we can be lulled into thinking that Jesus was only recognized as a King after his death and resurrection. Palm Sunday reminds us that there were people who recognized Jesus as King, and Jesus knew he was King while he was on earth. I pray that this episode is a blessing to you and an inspiration to your walk with Christ Jesus! Please Subscribe and Share, God Bless You! https://cash.app/$blknerd50

Jesus: The Servant King Day 3 of a devotional King of Kings

Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Thank You for tuning in! “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Jesus showed us what it was like to serve and to also serve with humility. This week during Holy Week let us all think of ways to show goodness and servitude towards one another. I hope this message is a blessing to you. God Bless. Eternal King: The I AM Statements: A reading of a Holy Week Devotional entitled “King of Kings”

Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Thank you for tuning in! The “I am” statements that John includes in his Gospel are connected with the I am statement in Exodus and Isaiah. Once again John is showing that the King that came to earth, is the Son of God, he is not just the human Messiah, but he is God incarnate. Anything you need is found in him. As you study these I am statements, we are forming a picture of who Jesus is, every I am statement reveals a facet of Christ. I pray that this special episode will be a blessing to you, drawing you closer to Christ and also as we commemorate the last week of Jesus’s earthly ministry this week leading to the victorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Respect for Authority. And Love fulfills God’s requirement: A reading from the book of Romans 13

Respect for Authority. And Love fulfills God’s requirement: A reading from the book of Romans 13

Thank you for tuning in! “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬ In this episode we read where Paul is addressing the people of His day about respecting authority and those who are in authority, it shows when we respect authority we honor God. Laws are not meant to restrict us from our liberties and freedoms or rights but they are put in place to govern us. God wants us also to show respect to those who serve it is very important. “Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Love is the ultimate respect for one another, if we show love for one another we show that we love God who loves us. Thank you for listening please subscribe and share, God Bless! https://cash.app/$blknerd50

A Living Sacrifice to God! A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 12

A Living Sacrifice to God! A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 12

Thank You for tuning in! In today’s episode I read from the book of Romans Chapter 12. “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭ This verse truly sums up this episode, if we want to truly worship God which is the highest form of worship we need to give ourselves totally to Him. God has held absolutely nothing back from loving us, His devotion to us, and His commitment to us, we should give Him all of us. I pray this episode will be a blessing to all who listen and share, God Bless You all! Please Subscribe and Share https://cash.app/$blknerd50

God’s Mercy is for Everyone! A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 11:25-36

God’s Mercy is for Everyone! A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 11:25-36

Thank You for tuning in! In this episode we conclude our reading of Romans Chapter 11 starting at verse 25-36. Paul is addressing the Gentiles at the church in Rome about God’s mercy on them which was caused by God’s chosen children of Israel. Israel had become rebellious and ultimately walked away from God and rejected His Gift of Salvation through the death of His Only Son Jesus Christ. As Paul says in the scriptures, the children of Israel had become rebels of God and enemies of The Good News, such a flip around but God in His ultimate plan to give Salvation to the entire world all of humanity this was done to provide us the Gentiles the benefit of receiving God’s Salvation. What a wonderful and awesome God! With this we should always rejoice but never take His mercy for granted. God’s love is truly unconditional towards us! God’s Mercy on Israel: A reading from the book of Romans (part 1)

Hey everyone thanks for tuning in. Today’s episode is about God’s Mercy on Israel, even though some may see God as harsh, after reading this I understand that God is so loving that He is willing to go through extraordinary measures to bring us to Him. God has and will always be faithful and will NEVER break His promise. Even though God’s chosen people reject Him and even reject His Son Jesus Christ God is not willing to give up on His own people and this is why we see what Paul describes in Romans Chapter 11 as God’s mercy on Israel, let us continue to pray for not us but His chosen people to turn their hearts back to Him. Salvation is for Everyone!! A reading from the book of Romans 10:5-21

Hey Everyone Thank You for tuning in! In today’s episode we learn about how God’s Gift of salvation is for everyone Jews and Gentiles. And so because God’s selection of Israel thousands of years before the birth of Christ, God could for see that the Jews would reject The Messiah. Romans 10:20 says“And later Isaiah spoke boldly for God, saying, “I was found by people who were not looking for me. I showed myself to those who were not asking for me.” This should give us such praise! Israel’s Unbelief: A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 9&10

Israel’s Unbelief: A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 9&10

Hey everyone thank you for tuning in! Romans 9:30 says “What does all this mean? Even though the Gentiles were not trying to follow God’s standards, they were made right with God. And it was by faith that this took place.” Paul starts off by emphasizing the importance of Israel having faith in God’s provision and promise to provide a new way of us being made right with God. Unfortunately Israel’s unbelief and ultimate rejection of The Messiah caused the spreading of God’s salvation towards the Gentiles we are now all beneficiaries of God unlimited grace and a better way of living out our faith through Jesus Christ! As I have been saying God has taken all obstacles out of our way to have a relationship with God but also a way to fulfill a life that is pleasing to God through faith in Jesus Christ and the work He did for us when God offered His Son as a sacrifice for all mankind on the cross. We now have the Gift of The Holy Spirit as our Advocate and Helper and Comforter to aid us and guides us along as we live out our lives. God’s provision is so amazing! May this episode be an inspiration and motivation to keep drawing closer to God and to fulfill His promises in our lives, God Bless You All. Please Subscribe and Share! God’s Selection of Israel 🇮🇱 a reading from the book of Romans Chapter 9 Part 1

God’s Selection of Israel 🇮🇱 a reading from the book of Romans Chapter 9 Part 1

Hey everyone thank you for tuning in! In this episode I read from Romans Chapter 9 God’s selection of Israel, as I read this chapter I can really see God’s ultimate plan of salvation for us all throughout scripture. Paul explains in great detail how God’s selection of would be the way He would introduce His self to us in a way that we would all benefit from. Paul in this first part of Chapter 9 seems almost to want to defend God like a skillful defense attorney in a courtroom. But I too must realize that God does not need none of us to defend Him. Nothing can ever separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus!

Nothing can ever separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus!

Hey Everyone! Thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode I conclude what a 3 part series of Romans Chapter 8 starting at verse 31 Nothing can separate us from the love of God. God is so good to us, at times I’m not sure if we truly understand just how much God loves, and how deep His love goes. Like the writer of Romans says there is absolutely nothing that will separate us from the love of God. Always remember, God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for us to take on the punishment that we deserve, Jesus suffered physically abuse, as well as desertion from everyone to die alone on a cross He did not deserve. God the Father turned His face away from His Son for us, that means Jesus who had no sin became sin for us all. I pray this episode encourages you to become closer to God. God bless you all. https://cash.app/$blknerd50

The Future Glory! A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 8 (part 2)

Thank You for tuning in! In today’s episode I continue from where I left off in the book of Romans Chapter 8. As we begin in verses 18-30 today we learn about God’s future glory, in this chapter we have even more Good News of The Lord’s ultimate plan for us who are His Children who belong to Him. God not only wants to save you for all eternity but for the life we live here now while on earth. The interesting thing is that the whole earth is awaiting the full redemption or should I say God’s full completion of everything he has promised us in His Word. The future hope is that God’s will His purpose and plan will be fulfilled very soon, until then let us anticipate the return of His Son Jesus Christ and the revealing of all of Us His Children and a New Creation! Do you belong to Jesus? A reading through the book of Romans 8 (part 1)

Do you belong to Jesus? A reading through the book of Romans 8 (part 1)

Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in! Today I am reading through Romans Chapter 8 and simply put the question is “Do You Belong to Jesus?” So many people today look the part or act the part but unfortunately Jesus does not know who they are, we do not want to fool ourselves into thinking we are living for God when we are only living for ourselves. In this reading we learn how Jesus’s death on the cross destroyed the power of sin that leads to death, and now by the life giving Spirit we can now be free to live according to The Spirit that leads to life and peace. Let Christ live within you so that Jesus can say you belong to Him! I pray this episode will encourage you to live a wonderful life in Christ Jesus complete and lacking nothing! God Bless You! No Longer Bound to the Law: A reading from the Book of Romans Chapter 7

No Longer Bound to the Law: A reading from the Book of Romans Chapter 7

Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in. In today’s episode, I read from the book of Romans chapter 7 in this episode, we understand that we are no longer bound to the law, but we are free to fulfill the law to the power of Christ. We can either live out, our lives struggling to be right with God in our own strength or we can trust the work that did through his son Jesus Christ on the cross. God wants us to be free to live in the power. He provided not in the power that we try to produce ourselves. In this chapter, Paul talks about the sin, nature of how it could never help us to fulfill God‘s law. It will only produce more death, because we are given it every time we agree that God‘s law is good. Let us come to him and give our lives fully to Him so that he can fully transform us into the people he desires us to be. I pray that this episode blesses you! Please subscribe and share. Sin’s power is broken a reading of Romans Chapter 6

Sin’s power is broken a reading of Romans Chapter 6

Hey everyone thank for tuning in. In the episode today we read from the book of Romans chapter 6 entitled Sin’s power is broken. Today we learned what Christ death on the cross really means and what was the power of the crucifixion it was more than just a man who wanted to sacrifice his life for all humanity also fulfilling God’s requirements of sin, it also means that we are united with Christ when we believe in his death, his burial and his resurrection this should be good news for all of us. We no longer have to live according to the law, but according to the grace of God, we no longer have to practice sin, or live, according to sin in our lives, but we can live according to righteousness! So don’t let sin be the master of your life, let righteousness and right living rule your life, so that will lead to eternal life in God. I pray this episode was encouraging to you please make sure to pray and study this chapter again so that God will continue to speak to you. God Remains Faithful & All People Are Sinners: A reading from the book of Romans 3

God Remains Faithful & All People Are Sinners: A reading from the book of Romans 3

Thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode, I read from Romans 3:1-20 in this episode, Paul continues to address the Jewish people of his day about whether or not being Jewish has its advantages and does circumcision have advantages in their culture. What is so important to understand is that God is faithful, and that no matter what amount of sin that we do doesn’t change the way God is toward us. What is equally important? If not more is that we have to understand how bad our sin is in the way God sees it. Just because we have God’s grace does not mean this gives us a license to sin. Especially when it comes to sending as a lifestyle we should be encouraged to change especially when we understand how good God is and how much grace He isis giving us. I pray this episode will continue to bless and encourage you to live the way God wants us to live. Please subscribe and share. Thank you. https://cash.app/$blknerd50

The Jews and The Law: A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 2:17-29 (part 2)

The Jews and The Law: A reading from the book of Romans Chapter 2:17-29 (part 2)

Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in. In this episode I read from the book of Romans, we learn that Paul addressed some issues with the Jewish people of His day about their religion, how they feel very privileged to have the Law of Moses, and how they have the sign they belong to God through circumcision. It is more important to have the “circumcision” of the heart. In His letter to the Roman church he compares them with the Gentiles who didn’t have the Law nor were they offered the ceremony of circumcision as evidence they were a Jew. These things are not as important than how you live allowing the Spirit to work on you throughout your life in order to show inwardly that you are His Child. Like my Mother would have said “you don’t need to wear a sign around your neck to say you’re a Christian” God Bless Mommy for saying such a remarkable but plain and simple statement. I pray this message blesses you and that you are able to apply this to your life. Please Subscribe and Share. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day 🦃https://cash.app/$blknerd50

God’s Judgment of Sin a reading from the book of Romans Chapter 2:1-16 (Part 1)

Hey Everyone Thank you for tuning in. In this episode I read from the book of Romans Chapter 2 in this week’s find Paul’s letter to the Romans about God’s judgment against sin and towards those who participate in it willingly knowing that they will be punished. The take away in this episode is to realize that while we are still living under God’s grace and tolerance and patience we still have time to repent and turn to God with all our heart. God does not want to have to send people to a burning hell, but He would not be fair if He didn’t keep His promise of Salvation which is through His Son Jesus Christ. Receive God’s FREE GIFT of Salvation while there is still yet time. God truly loves us. I pray that you enjoy this message and will apply its truth from His Word in your life. God’s Anger at Sin: A reading of the Book of Romans Chapter 1 (part 2)

God’s Anger at Sin: A reading of the Book of Romans Chapter 1 (part 2)

Thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode I read from the book of Romans 1:18-32 this will be a reading about God’s anger at sin. We are currently living in a culture in our society where what was once considered “bad is good” or what was considered “evil is good” God’s standard has never changed what He was angry about and what was His standard then is what is His standard is now. God has given us His laws and ways of living not to ruin our lives but to help us. When we go outside God’s ordained purposes of living this is where we meaning mankind begin to spiral out of control. We need to stay within God’s standards for living. Reading from the Book of Romans Chapter 1 (part 1)

Reading from the Book of Romans Chapter 1 (part 1)

Hey everyone! Thank you for tuning in. In today’s episode I read from the Book of Romans Chapter 1, this is very appropriate beginning to a letter to the early church in Rome, The Apostle Paul who has identified himself as a slave of Christ let’s the early church know how much their faith has grown and that their works have been heard around the world! We learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ the Gospel which we should not be ashamed of. Sharing the Good News is very impactful in a world full of darkness and chaos and sin, the world we live in needs to hear a message of hope, and that God loves us and wants us to be reconciled with Him. Also I am making an appeal for all as Christians or children of God to pray like never before for our world in the midst of the conflict we now see across the world. Our commitment to Jesus Christ has to be stronger than ever before and to be able to witness to all who have received the free gift of Salvation from our merciful and loving God our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord. I pray this episode will minister and bless you and all who may hear this message. Day 12,13,&14 of Unsung Heroes of the Bible encourage your church leaders

Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode I read and conclude this devotional of Unsung Heroes in the Bible, we learn from two helpers of The Apostle Paul in the new testament letters he wrote to the churches in Philippi and Colossus these two churches were new churches of that day and Paul wanted to recognize to workers who deserved to be recognized for their hard work and dedication to the ministries in those locations. Epaphroditus and Epaphras were the Apostle Paul’s unsung heroes along with that in Day 14 which is the conclusion of this 14 day devotional I read about how we can always encourage our leaders in our local church, respect them and honor them for the hard work they do in your local church congregation. Thank you so much for tuning in, may God Bless You and keep you! In the Old Testament book of Esther chapter we briefly read about a man name Mordecai who help keep King Xerxes from being assassinated by two of His own eunuchs, also in this same episode I read from Day 8 in the book of Acts about a man named Barnabas who was also called “Son of Encouragement”. Barnabas was little known as well but helped mightily in the growth of the church ministry of His day and helped along with the Apostle Paul to birth the Church of Antioch, by his generosity in giving to the ministry it help and also we see that the ministry of the Apostles was very strong spiritually, they were all of ONE HEART and ONE MIND, and what they had, they did not consider it their own. They enjoyed giving to the Apostles so that they could help those in need. I pray you enjoy this episode! Please Subscribe and Share! Thank You! https://cash.app/$blknerd50

What Makes Josiah a Hero? Day 6 of Unsung Heroes of the Bible

What Makes Josiah a Hero? Day 6 of Unsung Heroes of the Bible

Hey Everyone thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode I read from 2 Kings chapters 22 & 23. The Bible states in 2 Kings 23:25 “Never before had there ever been a king like Josiah, who turned to the Lord with all His heart, soul, and strength, obeying all the laws of Moses. And there has never been a king since. King Josiah was definitely a hero. When he read about the Book of the Law and seen how the Lord’s anger had burned so fiercely against Judah, as a leader who feared the Lord and loved Him He immediately repented of the people’s evil practices, humbled his self and made changes all over Judah and Jerusalem. He tore down all the idols, and alters, also reinstated the Passover celebration to honor the Lord. The takeaway lesson is this, good leaders know when to humble themselves in front of God and inspire others to follow the Lord, Josiah reminds us that no one is above God. Hey Thank You for tuning in! In today’s episode I read from Day 6 of Unsung Heroes of the Bible. 2 Kings 23:25 states “Never before had there been a king like Josiah, who turned to the Lord with all His heart, soul, and strength, obeying all the laws of Moses. And there has never been a king like him since” King Josiah was a true unsung hero, as soon as He read about God’s anger with Judah He quickly corrected course, with repentance and humility and then with a whole revamping of Judah. He began by tearing down all the idols to other gods, and calling the people of Jerusalem to return to a Passover Celebration. When we begin to honor the Lord and put Him as our first priority in our lives then that’s when things will change in our lives. King Josiah’s actions display His true devotion to God, I pray you enjoy this episode, please share and subscribe, God bless you all. https://cash.app/$blknerd50

God raises up a man named Ehud: Day 3 of Unsung Heroes in the Bible

Thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode I read from Day 3 of Unsung Heroes of the Bible. So many times as we read God’s word, we don’t always think of heroes in the Bible but as we look closer to the stories we read we discover that God truly makes heroes out of ordinary people, some of God’s greatest miracles were done at the hands of ordinary people like You and Me to accomplish God’s purpose. It’s wonderful to be used for God’s glorious purpose! In today’s devotional we read about a man in the Old Testament book of Judges who was almost an “unknown” had it not been for the victory God’s people had over Moab. Ehud was this “unknown” person who with His action opened the door for the children of Israel to have victory. I hope you enjoy this episode as I did! The World’s Hatred

The World’s Hatred

Episodes with music are only available on Spotify.
Hey Everyone Thank You for tuning in to another episode. In this episode I read from the book of John 15:18-25, Jesus Christ is preparing His disciples for a grim reality that the world will not embrace them as they may think when they are called to share the gospel message of the Kingdom of God, and eventually the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was and still is a very controversial figure both in the Bible and in our world historically. Jesus reminded them if the world hates you just remember that the world hated Him first, He further explains why this is in the passage of scripture I read here in this episode. I pray that this episode will be a blessing to you and to encourage you to continue to share your faith and to be strong in The Lord no matter what condition the world and our society is in. God Bless You All. https://cash.app/$blknerd50
