A conversation with Lucy Tammam, Creative Director at the House of Tammam
A conversation with Lucy Tammam, Creative Director at the House of Tammam. Atelier Tammam, Bloomsbury’s very own sustainable couture fashion studio, presents a visionary ethical and environmentally conscious catwalk, roving through the streets of Bloomsbury. Find the action along a route selected to pass some of Bloomsbury’s iconic heritage sites, from the Pankhurst’s home – some of the women who inspired Tammam’s incredible One Dress, to the British Museum where ancient textiles and draped statues have all given influence to Tammam’s couture practice. Since its inception in 2007, Tammam has been a trailblazer of sustainable fashion – this show will highlight the designer’s visionary ideas over the last 13 years. With fully transparent supply chains, as well as seeing the styles we invite you to “see” the whole process through digital resources – follow @HouseOfTammam on instagram for the full story, and be immersed in story telling throughout the slow fashion catwalk. If you catch the show upload your pictures and images to social media tagging #VisionaryFashionShow, #TammamCouture and #BloomsburyFest For more details, please see: https://bloomsburyfestival.org.uk/event/atelier-tammam-sustainable-couture-roving-fashion-show/
