Ep 57: The Positive Effects Of Differences.
Of course, we want to surround ourselves with people of like minds, people who see things the way we see them and people who inspire us, people who push us and people who believe in us. Of course it helps to work with people who have similar interests and capabilities. But, how can surrounding ourselves with people who think entirely different from us help us? How can working with people who are interested in things we are not benefit us? Maybe their differences can help us widen our perspective. Maybe their differences can influence us to grow outside of our comfort zone and expose us to new things we otherwise wouldn’t see. Listen to Episode 57 of The Blue Poet Tree Podcast as Quindell Evans reflects on the positive effects of differences. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you. And there are us who have made plans and tried to achieve them but stopped due to the hardships along the way or just couldn’t stay committed for whatever reason. What can we who have trouble with ORGANIZATION learn from those who are great at implementing their plans into their daily and long term schedule? Ep 54: Do You Have Integrity?
What’s your vision? Where do you see you yourself in the years to come? Did you make plans and set clear goals to see your vision come to life? If so, what do you plan to do when your plans are challenged by distraction, pressure and temptation? Do you have a backup plan or a plan to get back up? Do you have a plan that will allow you to get back on track if you’re ever knocked off of the path to your vision? It’s good to make plans. It’s good to have a vision and plans to reach to your destination. And it’s great to have integrity. That feeling of knowing what’s right and wrong. That way you can discern what is good for your growth and what has the ability to take you off course. Ep 47: Is Money The Root Of All Evil
On Episode 47 of The Blue Poet Tree Podcast Quindell Evans sits down with poet, rapper and wisdom seeker Sean Elliot and discusses “detachment” and “money.” What is detachment? What are some things, people, environments and habits that people who have goals should detach from? How do we go about detaching from these things once we realize we need to detach because it ain’t easy? When it comes to money, prosperity, abundance or wealth, what are the ideas, beliefs and habits that keep us from growing in these areas and instead we do just enough to maintain or exist? Ep 46: My Flaws Can Take Me Far Too
Nobody is perfect and appearing perfect only effects the people we are working with and others around us in a negative way. When we are working toward a goal, how do we allow our flaws to not become a distraction? How do we remain confident, faithful and inspired without seeming cocky or egotistical? Can our extreme ambition turn people off and make it hard to work with us? Maybe we’re not transparent enough. If not, how can we be more transparent and allow people to see who we are in every way, flaws and all? Listen to Quindell a Evans on The Blue Poet Tree Podcast as he reflects on this topic and respond with your thoughts. Ep 45: You Don’t Need To Plan To Be Successful
If your grind is big, if you’re already disciplined at working toward your goals, if you’re a habitual goal setter, then planning might seem like an unnecessary task because you’re used to getting up and getting straight to it. If you’re used to doing instead of talking and is conditioned to be or is naturally good at organizing what you’re going to accomplish, then planning might seem like a distraction and time-consuming liability. But for many of us, we want to discipline ourselves in the area of planning, preparation and practice. We want to know where to start. Do we write down our goals everyday? Do we do a vision board for years to come? What happens when things change and our plans are interrupted? How do we adjust? Listen to Quindell Evans as he reflects on these questions on The Blue Poet Tree Podcast. Ep 44: Talent Goes As Far As Faith Allows It To
We all know talented people in many areas of expertise who we feel like can go very far in life. What is it that limits them or hold them back? Is it that they don’t believe in themselves enough to take risks on their talents? We wonder why in so many areas, less talented people are highly celebrated. That’s because these people have faith in themselves, are confident and consistent at being themselves. And faith, confidence and consistency are all talents within themselves. How can we develop our talents? How can we be more faithful and how can we improve at what we enjoy doing? Listen to the podcast and let me know what you think. Ep 43: I Did One Thing That Led To Many Opportunities
What’s your purpose? What’s your drive behind what you do? Do you have a drive? Do you know your purpose? Or are you casually flowing with life? It’s okay. Maybe casually flowing through life is getting what you want and leading you to wonderful places? But for the most part, identifying your purpose and living it can open you up to unimaginable talents you have and opportunities waiting for you to enjoy. I’m realizing that knowing what I want is more than enough. And while striving to achieve what I want, the best part is getting to know myself and learning that I am capable of getting more than what I want. Ep 41: I Can’t Teach You If You Don’t Want To Learn
A Big Part Of Change Is Acceptance. I’m Learning To Accept People For Who And Where They Are In Life. That Way I Can Meet Them Where They Are And Be Able To Build With Them Without Our Different Perspectives Being An Obstacle. One Of The First Reactions We Have To Our Growth Is We Look Around At The People In Our Lives And Expect Them To Grow The Way We Are Growing. We All Grow Differently Though. Acceptance Is Appreciation. Expectations Will Always Be Met When We Accept And Appreciate. So I Want To Discipline Myself At Accepting Myself And Others. Ep 40: The Personal Relationship Effect On Business Relationships
We all know the saying, “It’s not what you know. It’s who you know.” Well who you know is just one part of the equation. The other half of the equation is how positive or productive our relationship is with who we know. What impression are we leaving on who we know? Will who we know provide a recommendation if we needed it? On the other hand, is who we know encouraging and inspiring us to achieve greatness or is who we know dissuading us? Is who we know an example of leadership, wealth, positivity or whatever else we aspire to exemplify ourselves. Who we know could be our family, friends, partners, mentors, coworkers, faculty, etc. What role do our relationships play on our success? Ep 39: I Almost Went Crazy Because I Suppressed My Pain
Joy and pain is like sunshine and rain. When they’re together, they create the most beautiful thing...a sun shower. What’s more beautiful than a sun shower? When it’s raining while the sun is out. That’s like finding ways and reasons to enjoy the moment regardless of the hardships and troubling circumstance at the current time. A funeral after a death is one of those ways to celebrate the day during a time of mourning. Expressing the pain is a form of relief during the painful time, a form of sunshine during the rainy day. I suffered mentally the most during times I wasn’t expressing things I needed to and wasn’t self reflection because I was trying to ignore things instead of addressing or dealing with it. Ep 37: Am I Valuable To You?
There are two types of mindsets we all have...the scarcity mindset and the valuable mindset. The scarcity mindset is when we feel we don’t have enough and it drives us by influencing us to look for people, places and things that can offer us something we don’t have or something we think we need more of. The valuable mindset is when we feel we have a lot to offer and it drives us by influencing us to look for people, places and things we can give to. I feel like I can shift mindsets but i am aware that i want to function fundamentally from the valuable mindset. How do I do that? BluePoetTree.com

Ep 36: How To Plan But Be Flexible
I’m learning how to plan everyday in order to get what I want to done. Planning is a form of me taking control of my life and not allowing my life to be in the hands of other people’s plans. However, sometimes it can feel like I’m too controlling and too hard on myself when I don’t get things done, when I get interrupted or distracted or when I try to include others in my plans. What I want be able to do is be flexible and flow with the changes and people that can effect my plans. I want to include others in my plans in a way that allows people’s plans or purposes to be fulfilled though me instead of expecting them to fulfill my purpose. I want to appreciate every route I can take to succeed because I feel no matter which route I take, the destination is still success. BluePoetTree.com

I this podcast, Eemaan and Quindell debates on whether it is choice or habit that influences us the most, controls our fate, our actions and feelings. While being a full time artist, I’m learning how to support myself financially by striving to manifest the best ideas that comes to my mind and I’m realizing it takes a lot of self discipline and I have a lot of growing to and there are so many areas I have to mature in. Overall, I feel like my state of mind is more important than what I am able to do. I feel like it’s better for me to be prepared. To prepare for my goals by planning and also be prepared to make new plans when my plans fail. That way, I am strong, fortified and ready to keep going no matter what. Ep 33; Taking It Easy Is The New Revolution.
Deep down, the underlying issue of the society today is healing. There is not enough healing. I can only give you the energy that I have. And I want to have loving energy, positive energy, faithful energy, disciplining energy and be focused on growth. So if you give me those types of vibes, then I’ll give that back to you because that’s what I have to give. But if you give me hate, anger, disgust, lies, complaints and other forms of negative energy, you can’t get that back from me because I’m not focused on matching that type of vibe. Then there’s some songs I write that’s full of joy and grace and gratitude so when I sing them, it fills with me up with good vibes and smiles. When I’m on stage or behind the mic, I feel at peace, I feel like I’m in my element and it’s important for me to choose to perform songs that I would love to sing forever because if I’m not liking how I’m feeling while singing than why would I choose to. Ep 27: I Know My Life Story Can Help Others!
When We’re Struggling, When We’re Experiencing Something Painful, Uncomfortable Or Going Through Something We Think We Don’t We Deserve, There’s Always Someone Going Through The Same Exact Thing. We Don’t Know That Because We’re Deep In It And That Makes Us Feel Alone. That Feeling Of Being Alone Is Distracting Us What We Need To Learn From It. When We Learn From What We’re Experiencing, We Can Allow Others To Learn From Our Experiences Too. They Say “A Wise Man Learns From His Mistakes But A Genius Learns From The Mistakes Of Others.” We Have To Be Wise Geniuses. This Is The Basis Of The Conversation That Went On Between Quindell Evans and Asia Maddrey Inspired By “The M.O.U.T.H. Ep 26: Why Worry When You Can Work!?
Pain is inevitable and so is pleasure. I’ve felt both and I know that I will feel both as life goes on. The challenge is not to let pain become a distraction nor should pleasure become a distraction either. Instead, I want to be inspired by every part of life. I want to allow the pain and the pleasure to push me. When there are things that cause me to hurt, how can use it to inspire me to work? When there are things that bring me joy, how can I use it to allow me to work some more? I remember my mother having cancer like it was yesterday...I didn’t complain although I was hurt. Instead, I sang and some of my greatest work came from that time. And when my mother beat the cancer, I allowed her accomplishment to inspire me too. This is a reflection inspired by “The M.O.U.T.H. Ep 25: There’s A Big Difference Between Waiting And Having Patience!
I’m growing and a lot of the ideas I wanted to pursue before seems for easier to do. That’s because I’m developing mentally and mentality is the beginning of doing anything with longevity. Because in the past when I wanted to do things but didn’t have the right mentality to persevere or withstand certain setbacks or obstacles, I stopped and felt defeated when I was faced with a challenge. Now I’m realizing that planning takes some time and it doesn’t serve me to go through life blindly waiting for something outside of me to help me out and instead get ready first. I’m also learning to be a self starter and inspire and motivate myself because there are few people in my life who will push me as much as I need to be pushed anyway. Now is the time to use every second, every moment to prepare for what I want so I can remain ready for my journey of success. Although I ain’t got much right now, I’m gearing up and getting ready for everything. This is a self reflection inspired by “The M.O.U.T.H. Book Messages of Uplift to Heal” by Quindell Evans. Do you know the reason you strive for your goals? If so, what is in your way, what is challenging you, what is slowing you down in any way becomes less powerful. With purpose comes strength. With purpose comes discipline. With purpose becomes the power to remain focused on your goals and let nothing distract you. Quindell and Mr. Poet has a conversation about how they published both of their books and what inspired them to do so. Do you have a book idea that you want to manifest into the world? Do you write a lot of poetry or short stories or journal or diary very often? Your writings, your story, your message may inspire other people in many ways. Maybe someone needed to know that what they’re experiencing someone else is too. Maybe you publishing a book will inspire others to share their story too. There are sites that allow you to publish a book for free and distribute it to book stores such as Barnes And Noble and Amazon. Ep 22: Before I Die, I’m Living My Dreams‼️
How many ideas do you sit on and never act on? How many ideas do you think of and never do? Have you ever had an idea that you procrastinated on and someone else took credit for it or someone else did it? I’ve been there with all here things so that’s why I say, “I’m going to die one day so whatever it is I want while I am living, it’s my duty to get up and go get it.” Ideas die so I like to get to it while the idea is alive in me because idk how long I’ll feel like doing it and I don’t want to say I thought of something or had a goal that I didn’t do. Ep 21: When Your Intentions Are Straight, It Shows In Your Work! (with Sol.)
Have you ever been in a relationship or situation where you expected or assumed the others person’s intentions were identical with yours but you find out they weren’t? Maybe it seemed like their intentions were straight and transparent at first. Maybe you seen questionable behaviors but let things slide thinking they would change or not show that behavior again. Maybe you thought you could help them. Maybe there was a job or project you were working on and got tired of the job. Or got different who were working with. As an artist, it is important to self reflect and calculate your intentions because you’ll be more prepared to realize the intentions of the people you come across and build relationships with. I’m realizing that my intention may change in different environments because every environment I enter I have to approach things differently. I’m constantly learning about how I effect others and in turn it helps me monitor how others effect me in spite of their intentions. Ep 15: I Hit The Lottery 7 Times
Being alive is something to be grateful for. No matter what I don’t have, there’s so many people who want my spot. Surrounding myself with different people allowed me to learn and open my mind. That’s the beauty of institutions such as schools, jobs, religious temples and meetings. These environments allow people of different values, different purposes, different principles and different backgrounds to come together and share their differences and learn from each other what we sometimes can’t learn being around people who we have similarities with. “The differences of others does not make us separate. Because I accept it, it brings us together and connects us.” Conducting weekly meetings allowed to learn a lot about myself from other people’s lens as well as allowed me to develop projects and expand on ideas in a very effective way. This video is inspired by a page out of the “The M.O.U.T.H. Book Messages of Uplift to Heal” by Quindell Evans available for purchase at BluePoetTree.com

Ep 13: I Can’t Blame You If I Fail
“As I make a living for me, I only accept and receive love, light and positivity.” I don’t have to allow any fears I have to crystallize and come to life. I can get rid of any fear of failure I have. I don’t have to receive any outside negativity. I can choose to focus on what I want or need in order to guarantee my success. That way there’s no one to blame if I fail. This is a self reflection inspired by “The M.O.U.T.H. Book Messages of Uplift to Heal” by Quindell Evans. Check it out at BluePoetTree.com

Ep 12: It’s Hard But Easy When You Love It (Health Tea Cigarettes Song)
Like a long term relationship, there’s gonna be tough times or in better words, character building times but it’s the love for the person and relationship that allows you to keep going. That’s the same in business, in working for yourself. It ain’t easy building and developing the “Pick-Up Poet Tree” Educational Playing Card Game or the “The Health Tea Cigarettes” or promoting and selling “The M.O.U.T.H. Book Messages of Uplift to Heal” as well as the other projects I’m working on but it’s fun and I enjoy it and am learning to love it so it’s easy on me although it’s challenging to do. Ep 11: It’s Hard But It’s Helping Me
“Any pain that I feel or see, let it be transformed and transcended into positivity.” I’m learning to take the things that hurt and make the best of it by learning from it, reflecting on it and allowing it to push me to strive for better. Like turning a breakup into a breakthrough. Like turning unemployment into entrepreneurship. Like turning sickness into healing. I’m just beginning my entrepreneurial life and it’s hard but every hardship is helping me stretch my creativity in many ways by pushing me to find various ways to support myself. I wrote The M.O.U.T.H. Book to share my journey of transitioning from depressed to determined. Visit BluePoetTree.com to buy your copy and learn more about me and my art.

Ep 10: I Didn’t Think I Deserved Success
I’m realizing that I have to be open to receive good things, that I have to make room for success and that my goals are based on my expectations. So I want to expect good things and success to come into my life. What I have right now is based on what I think I deserve. I want to raise my standards and never stop growing. Writing “The M.O.U.T.H. Book” is what allowed me to reflect on these things and begin opening myself up to the good things in life. BluePoetTree.com
