In the fifth episode of Blueprint Symposium Dr. Chandler explores the interconnection between the Blueprint’s Leadership Network, it’s powerful learning-focused partnerships between central office administrators and building leaders, and how instructional coaches add an additional layer of effectiveness to this work when principals and coaches also partner to accelerate student learning.   In the segment Becoming a Network of Disruptors, he talks about how the leadership competency SELF CONFIDENCE is critical to our role in disrupting the status quo.  Finally, Dr. Chandler takes a quick look On the Horizon, and explores the Teacher Collaborative Routines series available now and this summer in a newly automated format to match the Diving Deeper Series.

In the fourth episode of Blueprint Symposium Dr. Chandler introduces the 5 new videos available in the Video Resource Library of the Blueprint Tools and Resources Online Warehouse.  In the Diving Deeper segment, he explores the five critical competencies and five alternative competencies needed to become strong, effective Blueprint leaders. Then takes one competency, Team Leadership, and takes a look at how we might more skillfully and impactfully lead a group for whom we have responsibility.  In Becoming a Network of Disruptors, Dr. Chandler talks about how we begin the journey as building leaders to spending 80% of our time focused on instructional improvement.  In the final segment On the Horizon he rolls out the topics for the 2019 Summer Institutes and invites us to begin thinking about registration opening on March 4, 2019.

In the third episode of BP Symposium Dr. Chandler will Dive Deeper into the Performance Management Driver System. This segment explores the purpose and best practices for the use of the Blueprint Installation Timeline Tool (BITT) and the Building Performance Tool (BPT).  In Becoming a Network of Disruptors he will expand on the Performance Management System as a Disruptor. Dr. Chandler identifies the eight ways the performance management driver system assists districts in disrupting the status quo. Today's special guest,  Jame McCall, Associate Superintendent, Traverse City Area Public Schools. She will discuss the TCAPS plan for using professional learning to build capacity of its administrators to lead the process of systemic reconfiguration.

In the first segment Diving Deeper, Dr. Grant Chandler discusses One Vision, One Strategic Plan and Aligning all Efforts through Systemic Configuration. The second segment, Becoming a Network of Disruptors dives into Michael Fullan's new book, "Indelible Leadership" and Killing the Status Quo.  Finally, Dr. Chandler engages in a conversation about changing the paradigm needed to realize high-quality instruction with Kathy Mohney, Associate Director of the MI Excel Statewide Field Team.
