Hockey took a break for awhile this week. Jay Bouwmeester had a cardiac episode after a shift during the St. Louis Blues game against the Anaheim Ducks. It was such a scary moment for all of the Blues players and it brought back memories for Chris and Jason whe Chris Pronger collasped during a playoff game against Detroit. Chris and Jason will give you the latest update on Jay Bouwmeester (he's doing well and undergoing testing) and how they felt during this game. Also, they covered this week's games and Blues news which included Alexander Steen's 1,000 game and the announcement that the Blues will be retiring Chris Pronger's number next season. Finally, they discussed NBC Sports firing Jeremy Roenick for his comments about his cohosts earlier this season. Let's hope the Blues can regain their focus and win it for Jay! The St. Louis Blues come stumbling out of the All Star break dropping three of four games this week. Have the Blues finally hit the Mid Season hangover or is this just a small bump in a long season? There was a good amount of Blues news this week that included players returning from injury, another player getting injured and some minor league signings that may impact next year's roster. The Blues are in a great position so far but you don't want to let teams like Colorado or Dallas grab the top spot in the Central. Let's see if the Blues can turn things aound with this upcoming homestand. We want to hear from you, our listeners! Get the latest news about the Blues Hockey Podcast on our Twitter account (@BluesHockeyNHL) and don’t forget to follow us as well.
