If you’re not familiar with the name Dan Kennedy, he’s considered the grandfather of modern day Direct Response Marketing. It is “The Method” for local businesses to advertise. Of course it is a method that needs to be incorporated into our modern digital channels. I’m excited about learning more and digging deeper into this subject. I’ve heard others mention Dan Kennedy, but this is the first book I’ve read....couldn’t put it down. I’ll be getting more of his books for sure!

This is my first podcast. I'm sure it will be evident as you listen. As I contemplated publishing this content, I more than likely would have re-recorded this a number of times. You know, trying to get it "right" or perfect. My mentor hammered me until I admitted, to myself, if I didn't just record and publish...take action, it wasn't going to happen! So, my hope is the introduction won't keep you from tuning in again when I actually get to the meat of the subject I'm sharing, to help our local business owners.
