At this time you will need no translator, shrink, guru, shaman, or priest to tell you what is being said and how to behave; rather, you will know it from your intuitive voice of inner wisdom, the voice that got you here, standing fully awake at this place at this time, fully exposed and with no fear, guilt or shame.

Close old chapters and cut off the dead weight with a sharp, swift sword of compassion and light. Your releasing of the old will free you from the bondage that has been holding you back for many moons. Be brutally honest with your self and look to what or who you have been holding in bondage and swiftly release them. In that release you will be free, for in a prison the one that is most confined is the jailer.

Laugh, sing, dance and be joyous, and let yourself be found.

A multitude of situations and challenges have come into view in a cacophony of movement, thoughts and very deep emotions.  It is all happening in a great concert of revealing you to you and to your truth. You will benefit from holding still and access each situation separate from the whole. The difficulty is that this entire flood of energy is interconnected. Some aspects will require down and out war, while loving will salve others and the remaining will transform on their own into the creative when you get your ego out of the way in wanting it or someone to change for the better. Trust your wisdom, not your knowledge.

A seed you planted in the past, and have almost forgotten, has sprouted. As it rises from the depth of soul memory it comes to you now with laced with excitement and passion. Do not become turned off in that along with it is some confusion, this confusion is wrought only from surprise. Like many new ventures the way forward is not showing in clarity, you cannot yet see it, but you can feel it. It is this lack of clear vision that is causing some confusion as to how to move forward and what or who to let go of and decide what will stay to be nurtured and protected in this cycle of new growth. Do not let your emotions take you off track. Muster all your energies and call on your hidden strengths, they are there and will be accessed through using and trusting your intuition.

When a wound has become infected it will not heal unless the poison is removed. This is your condition now. You have been in battle and now you are returning. A bit battered and deeply tired but you are returning and are mostly in tact.  It is your ego that has taken the hits and is feeling the wounding. The ego would have you retreat and be with shame…don’t go for it….there is no shame and no blame, you are human after all and this is part of the process to wholeness and light.

There is a great task ahead
Join together in community with love and humility

Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in the right relation? Where is your Water? 

These are the questions tribal elders would ask you at this point in your journey to coming home to the true self that is authentic and real, free of doubt and shame.

Look to what you have gained and accomplished and come to ritual where you, without giving quarter to anything or anyone, deconstruct what got you here alive, inspired and engaged. 

The ideas, processes and behaviors that have previously brought you success on the path to abundance, peace of mind and love are no longer valid, they have become obstacles. The small bits of darkness that in the past you ignored, and thought would go away, have grown and can now overshadow all unless you take swift action and again return to the light. It was seeming in many ways that things were getting easy and you didn’t have to work quite so hard as you did before. This is the trick of the ego, the shadow side of human existence, to take you off center.

As we, the tribes of earth peoples, make ready for the coming New Earth the movement you are sensing is that we are all riding the wave of eternal transformation The gifts of body, mind and spirit that you have withheld from yourself, tribe and family are now ready to be released; released into new ways of thinking and being. You have, with conscious and unconscious intent been waiting for just the right time or hoping there would be a right time, tribe of fellows and place of safety to express what has been building up inside you. The fear of rejection now does not matter. It is not about how or by who you will be received. Reception lies in spirit, not in your tribe, family or relationship. By moving forward without self-judgment you will be embraced, and in this embrace is the love, peace of mind and abundance you have desired. Reflect for a moment and see that through doubt and suffering you now deserve it.

You are now approaching a new and favorable cycle where diligence will show up on the positive side of the ledger. You are crossing-This is an exciting time for it is from here you can see across the shore all that waits for you. That which you have been working for, dreamed and kept in your heart is in view, you can feel it. This is good.  The knowing of your progress is in place as are you. The challenge is not to let your ego push you too fast or too far in these delicate moments before realizing your goals in love, business, emotions and spirit.

When we seek the power of truth, it must be understood that this cannot be done with aggression or harsh words. Instead, we must proceed like the gentle wind, penetrating slowly and persistently.

Success will come as you nourish that which needs attention.

Look to your spirit and transform yourself into a great cat in the wild, crouching, waiting for the opportune time to make your move. Whilst waiting look to the things you have developed as if they were your clowder being sure to protect them and not to ignore them. See to the needs of your projects, relationships, tribe and family and keep them close and well looked after, well nourished.

The heat you are feeling is coming from deep in your consciousness.  This heat is generated when true initiation is near. And as Ding is called, you are told in no uncertain terms that you have done well, and you have a grand opportunity before you: the opportunity to make the alchemical mix of love, spirit and fate into the elixir that, when used judiciously, will guide you to the gates of your solitude where, behind those gates, lies peace of mind, success and abundance in all things.

What lies ahead in your situation is nothing less than great. It will require great risk to achieve even moderate gains. Not that your gain is restricted in any way; it is quite the opposite, in fact. The field is wide open, the potential is greater than great. The access to your fulfillment of desires is risk.

The laws of nature are taking place;

Something you have built or cherished seems to be splitting apart. It is not that the project, situation, or relationship should be abandoned; rather, it is that you should keep still and take no outward action as the current change unfolds.  

You have garnered attention by your recent personal accomplishments and advancements. Normally it would seem that it is time to use this notice as fuel to move further toward your goals. It looks that way… but it is not such a time. Do not fall prey to the temptation of ego to take the good vibes, notice, and acclaim given you by your tribe and community to move further toward your goal of love and abundance. It seems energetically more than possible. Now you will benefit from making a plan and sticking to it.

Setting boundaries is of utmost importance at this time. Your primal self that feeds the soul needs boundaries in order to operate in the most efficient, loving, and healthful way. Without clear boundaries, all you know and love can fall into chaos, and all you have worked and cared for will hit the proverbial fan.  

There is opportunity rising. The opportunity of retrieving a beautiful aspect of self that has been let in the shadows. Hidden from view as you strove ahead to abundance and advancement. You have been in the action and attitude of giving. Giving love, advice to benefit your family, tribe and relationships. Now the benefit is to prepare your self to receive. To clear the way that has gotten musty and cluttered with ego, personality and greed for more. You have not been wrong in these very human actions, but now the great cleanse is called for where you have the opportunity to clear the way so you way proceed on the road before you to commence on the journey to the road less travelled. It is on that road where the removing of old ways and no longer useful patterns that have held you in the prison of shame and doubt this clearing or cleansing is to leave room for the returning and for refreshment of all that is good in this coming cycle of retrieval and creation. 

The ritual table of initiation is set and is waiting for you to be the guest as well as the host. As you nourish yourself, so are you to nourish all around you. The architecture of this hexagram is an open mouth. It is symbolic of hunger for knowledge of the self. This is a time of receiving, that is certain, but just what to receive and how much is the question answered in this hexagram. 

In your present situation there are areas of disharmony in health, commerce, love or on your path to oneness with the divine. Wherever you are being challenged you are in a positive flow and you must make these corrections. Procrastination at this juncture is ill-advised. Your truth lies in practicality and reality. 

These times denote clearly the obvious differentiation of light and dark. Know this and contain your light. Continue to develop but not in the open.  These are times of difficulties where you are confronted with danger or obstacles on the path. It would be useless to confront these negative forces. Stay chill and let it seem that you don’t notice their divisiveness as they strike out or try to stop you; just hold steady with the knowledge that this time of hardships will bring knowledge and creativity that will serve you well when it is the appropriate time to step out of the shadows into the light.

Be your truth without fanfare and in this humble expression your place will become obvious, comfortable and empowered. If you try to be the truth talker now your words will not be heard; they will be construed as negative and counterproductive, though you know they are not.

Progress has been good, yet completion is elusive. Giving in and being stopped by frustration will take your power and the goal will slip further away. Be confident, and you will find completion is not the benefit now. The benefit is to focus on the present moment.

The earth, by its contractions and expansions, creates mountains. In this hexagram, the yang earth is pushing upward, causing the yin mountain to rise. This is an act of creation. For this process of creation to take place, that which lies peacefully on the earth must change as the mountain pushes upward. There is nothing to do but to accept this process and keep still.

Often on the road travelled to enlightenment obstructions seem to appear from nowhere. You have done your work, affirmed the correct way, yet an old pattern arises from the negative voice of the ego that causes doubt and, if you allow it, would instill enough fear and shame to take you of your path to a long deserved abundance of spirit and love. Note well at this turning point that the ego is using old ideas and old patterns to challenge you. 

Be easy on yourself for these times are not meant for completion. During times of conflict, whether it is being reflected in relationships, business or the family/tribe, there is no way to see clearly what must be done to bring about the correct actions to regain peace. The only place of clarity is in the center. By holding to neutrality while others are pleading their case to authority, or have began to bully or intimidate to be right, you will benefit to hold to your tongue and truth by neither taking the stance of the righteous nor by bending to threats or coercion.

This heat is generated when initiation is near. #30   Li Radiance; Omens Shine Bright —

Consider that the image of fire on the water in this Kua is a symbolic omen of your situation. The image of a clinging fire is representative of your courage and resolve. It is fire that clings to the heart and makes way for the new as it burns away obstacles that have kept you in bondage. Old belief systems and tired ingrained societal patterns are the fuel for the fire that is an illuminator; bringing forward the jewels of life that have been hiding, shadowed by the ego, and have obscured the correct pathway to the illumination the soul. 

Deconstruct your fears and doubts and trust intuition that is heartfelt without divisiveness and control. Be clear in your intent, be honest, without ego, judgment or ambition, and the disparate parts will easily come together.

You have so much right now—your riches in knowledge and spirit as a result of striving for inner truth will become part of you. You can clear obstacles and know your position in life's wonder by being humble in the context of possessing such vital knowledge and spiritual insight which is an incredibly powerful combination. 

Be calm and organize. There is a new archetypical pattern that awaits subtle, creative movements to insure success. Be considerate in the shifting of the model. An inconsiderate change at this time is dangerous. Rely on conventional wisdom.

In the recent past you were hiding behind a veil of non-recognition, where your words, feelings, and ideas were not fully heard or were dismissed out of hand. You were not being recognized for your gifts and good intentions and had not been appreciated for your insights and creativity. It has been frustrating, to say the least, to have been locked down, misunderstood, and held in irons in a multitude of ways. Lin brings good news: the time of bondage is over.

Shi He comes now as a wakeup call. The obstacle is metaphorically in your mouth and you must bite through it. The time for action is now, while things are still ripe.

You are in a time of creative transformation.

All things are possible now. Energies are increased. Be generous and ethical. Now you will flourish.

#40 Xie Unraveling

Zhen  Shake, arouse, inspire, excite: thunder rising from the Earth

Kan    Gorge, test, a critical time: a swift stream tearing through a gorge; proceed with caution.

Move to center: there will be no completion.

A stunning moment of time is here. Observe and honor the stillness you see in nature. 

Nothing remains the same. Nothing remains static.

The Flame in this Hexagram represents Clarity. The Thunder indicates Movement. Here we are given to look at our situation, the time, which has been presented to us. We are asked to examine it carefully in the light of Clarity. When we move to lift the veil that can keep us from being in our full awareness we see that we are indeed in a time of increase. A time of abundance. In these times abundance is fleeting. It may have the volume of a mountain or be as small as a seed. We are asked recognize the mountain and to gather these seeds. Honor them, empower them and let them, in there own time; grow into their, your, destiny.

Doors that have been closed are now open. Abundance on the horizon.
