We're back where we thought we'd never be. After being apart for 1 Whole Year, we're diving in to find out how we all got through the pandemic. AND, we're gonna get some great streaming recommends - after all, we've collectively watched everything there is to see by now.

In the last episode of Season 1, Bob Christian is the guest, finally getting a chance to answer the questions he's asked everyone else, sharing his 'top 5 things to stream', and sharing final thoughts as we near 100 days in a Covid-US.

While it seems impossible that we will ever go through another quarantine, who knows what lies ahead for us and for the US. If we do find ourselves 'Safer At Home', we'll be back to share the lives and movie suggestions of you all.

Re-opening America has been a very divided issue since George first started, after only having isolated a few weeks. Being immune deficient and immune compromised makes this whole transition even more difficult because - as the rest of the world prepares to move on - the danger is still very high for them.

In this episode we talk to two people who ‘sheltered at home’ before the rest of the country began and have had very limited - if any - contact with the outside world sense.

Day 52 : The Day of Reopening

Meagan is the most honest guest we’ve had yet - taking us through life while the studios are closed including navigating employment from a veteran perspective and maybe the biggest job transition - navigating the challenges of being a mom.

Day 48 : Learning New Ways to Connect with the World

Justin was in the beginning of a big travel season when the US and the world went into quarantine. While he talks about the trouble he’s had coping, he also talks about pushing forward. He goes through his mindset of finding a balance in authenticity and ‘me time’.

(He also says everyone should spend some time naked.)

The List (23:00) speaks to the mind of someone looking to push forward while making time to curl up on the couch and recharge.

Matt has been creating online content for years both as a writer and producer. Locked in with his new girlfriend, we talk about how to stay motivated, setting goals, and the authenticity.

In this episode of Frontiers, we talk with our first two guests - Jade in Los Angeles & Spencer in Sonoma County - thirty days later. Having spent over a month in Quarantine we talk about the surprises, highs, and lows found living in our own homes. Then as we look forward, we talk *travel* and what the future might look like once we’re all free.

Day 36 : Apartment Life of 5 + Get This 9yo Take on Movies

It’s easy to hear about what life is like for adults, but what about kids? Alice is 9 years old in Beverly Hills getting used to being at home for school, recess, and relaxation. She’s found an escape in writing and weights in on how her family is doing vs. how her NYC friends are doing.

The List (12:45) shocked me. Still in elementary school, Alice has a take on movies and tv that didn’t even cross my mind until my 20s.

Day 33 : Localizing Nature and The World Beyond This

The last time I saw Mike, he was bragging about how he finally bought a car that was comfortable to camp in overnight. Basically, he most more outdoorsy friend. As the country moved indoors, he was one of the first people I wanted to talk to about making this adjustment.

Living in Utah and working in tourism, we talk about what it’s like to live surrounded by an endless outdoor playground in an LDS community and what the future might look like for all of us eager to get outside.

The List (22:00) surprised me as a mix of comedy and documentaries that go far beyond the blogosphere.

Day 32 : The Best Adjusted Quarantine-er

Abby took control of her quarantine early on and is dominating. Living outside of Atlanta, she began sheltering in place weeks before Georgia enacted regulation. She’s found comfort in her shelter, and is excelling at dealing with the new normal - even on the eve of Georgia making some big changes.

Day 31 : What's it like to be a preschooler, right now?

For the past 3 years, Augustine has been in a daycare/playdate situation daily. In one afternoon, she became someone who barely has any contact with kids her age. My wife and I didn't pull any punches, we tried to lay out the situation to her (as we understood it) in a way that she would understand it. We've tried to make this a positive experience. Here's where we are at the end of a month.

The List (9:30) is almost entirely new since quarantine - including some of our forays into musicals.

Day 30 : Family + Fashion

Emily began quarantining her family before the official lock down because of her son’s pre-existing lung disease. Now several weeks in, she’s balancing learning to cook, holding down a full time job, nerf battles, and staying ‘fashionable’. How does she do it - all nighters and 4am alarms. Thank goodness she has Freddie there to help her unwind.

The List (20:50) is the way that Freddie and Emily stay current on what people are talking about and find themselves so ‘couple time’.

Day 26 : Mike is Driving from LA to NYC

Mike had been planning to move NYC for six months - which just happened to be in the middle of our pandemic. After three months without even seeing his wife, they are now in the car crossing the country. By the end of their trip they will have spent six days cruising through the US and moving from one of the world’s more active COVID destinations to the current US Epicenter.

The List (29:00) is easily the most eclectic list yet - and a great collection of things to talk to your friends about while you avoid talking about quarantine.

Day 24 : Alexis Escaped LA Last Night

Alexis has experienced every side of LA’s quarantine. At first with a roommate who abandoned her, leaving here to live/work/shelter alone. Looking at a calendar of solitude, Alexis made the hard decision to pack up and go to Florida during Pandemic.

The List (20:20) is full of easy things to fall into no matter what your mood - which maybe exactly what you need right now.

Day 19 : "Shelter in Place"

"A Tale of Two Families : Part 2" - In this two part series we talk with two Dads about their approach to raising kids in quarantine, making the best of each day, and not getting sick. This second part features one of my newest friends and his approach to raising his daughters, while giving up work to be a full time dad and slowing converting his home into a playground.

The List (19:20) - This list defies categorization and is one of the broadest interpretations of the meaning of 'stream'.

Day 19 : "Shelter in Place"

This first part features one of my oldest friends and his approach to raising his daughter Parker in a downtown style apartment.

The List (23:30) - Would you call it 'All of Us Working Together' or 'Everyone Trying to Get Out'? That place where action film and drama blur the line.

Day 16 : The French Quarter is Silent

Sydney is uniquely NOLA. Not only is she an amazing artist, but she is a nightly player at one of the most famous bars in the world. For years, she's had to fight through crowds every day. Now, all that is gone, and she's suddenly experiencing a NOLA that's quiet, well except for her own collection of exotic pets.

The List (11:30) accidentally taps into the unsung love that apparently all of America has for the films and tv of 1999. 

I wanted to pop in here and let you know - this is the show now. "Life in Quarantine" & “the Top 5 Things to Stream” together. 

Starting with Mehmet comparing this to his time locked down by a Turkish Coup in Episode 4, I knew I wanted to make the ‘life at home’ recap that I’d be running through at the top of the show more substantial.

I’ve been working to tell more of our guest’s story each episode, and from now on each guest is going to be a way that we can all find out more about life in quarantine and then what we should watch.

We’ve all heard the warning about ‘those at risk’, but what does that mean in the day to day? Amber sheds some light on her life, avoiding/sheltering/surviving Covid-19.

Living in LA, the Governor keeps warning that we're headed to be the next NYC. So, I talk to Jackson about life in NYC right now to see my future. In some ways, our experiences could never be the same.

We talk with Mehmet about living through the current quarantine vs. his previous lockdown experience - being caught in the middle of a Turkish Coup. 

The List (12:30) is one of the most through we've had so far. Not only are the shows rich and unexpected, everything has a double meaning. 

'Shelter in Place' :: Day 7. After our first weekend of being 'indoors', we've all lost our outside time.  

We talk about the last bits of melee hiking, life with only a cat and gritty/dramatic streaming options with out Guest - Aaron Pont from Los Feliz, LA, California.

Jade calls in to inadvertently discuss projects from all over the world that feature women as the lead. Spoiler alert, Jade is my wife, so we also talk living as a family in quarantine.

Currently 'Sheltering in Place' in North California, Spencer lays out his Top 5 picks which is a deep dive into Fantasy, World Building, and a Little Marky - Mark.
