June's Diary is an American girl group formed by singer Kelly Rowland and director/choreographer Frank Gatson Jr. on the American reality television docu-series Chasing Destiny in 2016. 1st April: Boom Shaka

31 March: Traffic University - ALGERIA
Algeria is a country in North Africa bordered on the north by the Mediterranean Sea. Covering an area of 2,381,741 square kilometers, Algeria is the largest country in Africa and the tenth largest in the world. Its capital is the city of Algiers. Algiers also holds the record for the city with the largest population in the country.
The cover photo in this podcast is of an Algerian teen artist who adopted her style of painting from Picasso and Matisse. In the 1940s, a 16-year-old girl captured the minds of the art world’s elite. The self-taught artist, Baya Mahieddine (1931-1988) — known as Baya — was finally being celebrated in the first North American exhibition of her work, at NYU’s Grey Art Gallery, March 21st 2018. How timely that this Podcast falls on the anniversary of that special launch.

Emcimbini
19th March: Heart Break Hotel (1)
Is it not amazing that some of our most memorable jams are heartbreak or break up related songs? Why does heart break make such beautiful music? I myself am NOT heart broken, but music always takes you there when it sings to the emotion you can't articulate with words.

With an Album project out making waves, Heaux Tales, I am even more in love than ever before.

12th March: DVSN
The mysterious DVSN (pronounced “division”) is a PBR&B act based in Toronto, composed of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85. The duo is signed to OVO Sound.
DVSN: "The day we made “Between Us”, I think we were in Miami for Art Basel. We had a little pool house that we renovated into like a little studio, little ping-pong set up, and play ping pong. And yeah, we set up in the back. Nineteen85 set up his laptop and he was going through loops. Just going through some guitar things. We originally had written it to guitar and then produced around that later on. I don’t think there’s a set way we do stuff. We kind of just always, whatever the mood or vibe is in the moment, we just go with that."
11th March Traffic University: Letter to My Former Self (Frank Ocean) Part 2
Dear Boipelo,
It has been a weird time lately. This letter is from 2021.
You've given birth to a healthy baby boy and he is very smart; very chitchatty and energetic.
He's started preschool and is being prepped for grade 1. I know it's been tough but you finally got a job, a car and a home.
You're doing well. Better than you think you're gonna. I just want to reassure you that all your concerns and worries are for nothing.
Things turn out pretty okay; you're okay. You've started new projects for side hustle, and 3 of those are profitable.
I am so proud of you. Wipe the sadness off your face because things are about to get busy.
Put on some lipstick and eyeliner because calls for interviews are about to flood in.
Your spirituality improves too. Trust the process. Trust the thought out decisions.
You're on a good path.
Trust.
Love&Light,
2021 Boipelo.
10th March Traffic University: Letter to My Former Self (Frank Ocean) Part 1
Frank Ocean wrote a "letter" to himself in 2017, addressing the 5year younger version of himself. (So if I wrote a letter to my 2016 self kind vibes)
And it begins "Hey Chris... " Clearly we see a name change.
09th March: Tiwa Savage
Tiwatope Savage, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. Born in Isale Eko, she relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education.

Sweetest Blue hues.
Cleo Sol was born to musical parents who met in a Jazz band. Her Mum, half Serbian and Spanish, is a singer and plays the guitar and flute. Cleo's Jamaican Dad plays the bass and piano.
Back in University, Cleo's covers and medley's were my daily. Her voice is like warm milk.
06 March - Davido
David Adedeji Adeleke (born November 21, 1992), popularly known as Davido, is a Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is one of the most influential artists in Africa. Like Fela Kuti before them, Davido and his peers are taking their country’s music way beyond its borders, with Nigeria’s Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi also signed to major international labels.
They and others have created a golden age for Afrobeats, a broad term that threads various African pop styles with R&B, dancehall and more, and differs from Fela Kuti’s polyrhythmic Afrobeat. Collaborations alongside British and American superstars, less common a decade ago, are now normal: Davido’s new album features songs with Nicki Minaj, Nas, Lil Baby and Chris Brown

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper and dancer. He is one of the biggest and most successful African artists.
Heard Burna Boy for the first time on A.K.A's sampled track and he had this quickened way of rapping which reminded me of Shabba. And I realized that art and artists live through other artists. Art is cyclical.
03rd March: Teni
Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and entertainer.
I saw Teni for the first time on TV but it was the hit track "Case" which caught me. The melody; to this day it's still the first on my list of favorite tracks by her. If she can top it, I'd have to be proven wrong.

R.e.s.p.e.c.t to the Queen of soul.
One of the most renowned musicians and Diva's ever to land on our radios.
Self Trust
With a lot of challenges we face in our daily lives, it's easy to doubt ourselves.
Sometimes that negative voice comes from people but oftentimes it's an internal station that replays itself every time we are faced with important decisions.
We must always remember that we have the resources to overcome this feeling of doubt.

If you have never heard of this gentle brother and you consider yourself an RNB playlist kinda human, then please go grab his music.
It will go down with some wine, stew and company.
Let's Break Up
Ever been heart shattered by a friendship?
I have been watching the sitcom "girlfriends" (catching up on all the episodes I wasn't allowed to watch growing up) and seeing Joan and Toni go at it really got me in my feels.
I have had my heart broken by a friendship. We had been friends for what seemed liked forever (12 years to be precise) and out of nowhere, our love affair fizzled into nothing, for no particular reason.
Find out why it ended and how to manage when friendships have reached their expiration date.
01.04 Ari Lennox
Miss Lennox herself. Beauty. Love. Pain. Achievement. Sex. Exploration.
This is the page in my diary with an age restriction.
01.02 Snoh Aalegra
Swedish Musical Artist: Snoh Aalegra.
01.01 Chloe x Halle
These girls actually take me back to a special time in my childhood; where my cousin and I had a whole universe of music going on.
We would sing using hair brushes in front of the mirror and pretend we were popstars.
My opinion on Chloe And Halle
You have made it!
Welcome to the Butterfly.
Buckle up, it's a bumpy flight.
