Authentic Moments with Dr Bola (#AMDBpodcast) is a podcast that was created with the intent to share the authentic stories in my life and also share tools which will AWAKEN, INSPIRE, UPLIFT you to live your life to the fullest in Confidence and Purpose by being your true self.
By bringing you talks on the changes that occur in the Brain in simpler terms and how it affects you and also talking on real life issues(like Adulthood, Long Distance Relationships and my faith in Jesus) in a funky way, I hope to hit home on these matters that you are dealing with in ways that will be helpful to you.
In this episode, I will be speaking more on the issue of Rape. You will hear about the sad, shocking and painful responses mostly gotten from the public when rape victims comes out with their stories and the need to stop this, the issue of boy child rape which we normally choose to ignore and disbelieve its occurrence as I also briefly talk about the role of Parents in all this. . .
If you have not listened to the last episode of Rape, Go and listen to it because we touched more on the Rape Culture, the Untouchability of Celebrities, Pastors, Imams and Politicians in Nigeria, the impact the Family plays on the Society, the need for everyone to learn Emotional Intelligence and for rape victims to seek Mental Therapy.
A podcast episode that looks deeply into the horror of Rape and its effects.
This episode also addresses the Culture of mocking, silencing and shaming rape victims; a culture which takes lightly the issue of Rape and the Untouchability of Pastors, Imams, Politicians and Celebrities who condone or engage in Rape. With an Insightful, sounded mind like Jessica Aike who joined on this episode, we also spoke on the importance of Mental Therapy for everyone in general and also the need of Emotional Intelligence as a skill to have so as to relate well with others.
Knowing how Friendships can be bitter-sweet, I decided to share on my experience of Friendships and my lessons learnt from Friendships. I also spoke on the need for everyone to develop the skill of Emotional Intelligence and explained why Mental Therapy needs to be seen from a different light( a more positive way) in Nigeria.
Knowing that many prefer to look ahead to the days coming when Covid-19 will be a thing of the past and we will be back to our normal lives (Of course, we would love to Travel more now as some already have Travel plans written down), So I invited my boyfriend( an avid Traveller and Travel Journalist) to come speak to us about Travelling. The Podcast includes talks on how to plan for travelling, what to note, what to expect and also speaks on Backpacking. It's a very loaded episode which I am sure you will love. Sit back, press play, listen and enjoy.
Of recent, the news of the 5G being linked to the cause or spread of Coronavirus has swept across the Social media and is on the lips of almost every Nigerian and maybe 60% of people worldwide. I do not know fully where this theory comes from but its over almost every form of Social media and I felt I should address it with you here by sharing the Facts about 5G, Coronavirus and dispelling the myths and rumors being shared by many.
