Clay Martin is an author who has written five books including his latest book Wrath of the Wendigo. Clay served in the US military, first in the Marines, before transferring over to the Army where he was a member of the Special Forces. Clay Martin is a combat veteran, serving in both the Marines, and US Army Special Forces, as well as an author of both fiction and non-fiction. Clay’s background make him a great spokesperson for subject matter today which revolves around the importance of building a safe community, and things to watch for as our country gets closer to civil unrest.

We wanted to learn more about Mount Everest so went to who Outside Magazine cited as “one of the world’s most respected chroniclers of Everest”, Alan Arnette. Arnette is a writer, keynote speaker, mountaineer, coach, and Alzheimer’s advocate. Amongst his accomplishments is summiting Everest in 2011, and being the oldest American to summit K2 in 2014 at the age of 58. It was a great time talking to Alan about climbing, Mount Everest, and Alzheimer’s among other topics.

Having pastor/author Jack Deere on the show was a huge win for us. Jack has authored multiple books, and has been involved with some of the biggest Christian movements in the last 50 years.

Our guest this episode is Luke Pierson from Apologia Church. Luke tells us his personal testimony, and we talk about some interesting subjects including demons, spiritual warfare, and government overreach. Started in Tempi, Arizona, Apologia Church has grown to multiple locations including Utah, and Kauai, while also being home to Apologia Studios which produces Apologia Radio, Cultish, Sheologians, and Provoked. Keith Rovere is an author and expert in prison ministry. Keith has some interesting pen pals, John Lennon’s murderer Mark David Chapman, multiple members of the Manson Family, the BTK Killer, and more. Keith’s book title and premise is a very interesting one: Serial Killers in Heaven, Victims in Hell? This may be a tough concept for some people to understand, this episode may challenge you, but should also inspire. *Warning* there were some major technical difficulties during this recording so this audio will be choppy.

Author and historian Ben Milligan joins us today to talk about his new book By Water Beneath the Walls: The Rise of the Navy SEALS.  Ben is a true silent professional who joined the SEAL Teams in 2001 and  is a recipient of the Bronze Star among other awards. If you have  interest in military history, specifically with Special Operations, this  is the episode for you!

Blair Dell is a retired US Navy Corpsman who served as a member of  Marine Reconnaissance, a Marine Special Operations Command, a Navy dive  school instructor, and more. After serving over two decades in Special  Operations Medicine and four combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, Blair  now volunteers as a member of the Washington State Patrol SWAT Team and  serves as a consultant teaching courses in Operational Medicine while  also speaking on leadership and resilience. Needless to say it was an  absolute blast to have him on the show and highly informative. This is  one of my favorite episodes so far because I think it has some of the  most practical knowledge to walk away with, as well as the most books  ever covered so far.
