Tom grew up in the steel city of Newcastle competing in Swimming and Surf Life Saving. A very talented athlete from a young age he excelled in these sports before really taking it seriously when he turned 17 and moved into the AIS scholarship program. He has since become a 2x Olympian, a Dolphins swim team member, a Pan Pacific and Commonwealth Games Gold medallist in the 200m free and has had a multitude of titles along the way. We speak about his upbringing, the importance in finding your own way, risking it all to achieve your goal, failures, successes, coming back stronger from defeats, the importance of rivalry, always doing your best, finding those perfect processes and much more.
