Beercast #59 - Bracket Brewing
( )
We're heading back to the craft beer Mecca, for one of Sydney's finest breweries you may have never tried.
The exceptional father-son duo over at Bracket Brewing have been whipping out incredible beers for a handful of hop-filled years now, and the Border Barrels crew have finally done their deep dive.
Possibly the greatest Maibock to exist, a fresh West Coast Pilsner and a unique (and brilliant) IPA are on the menu this week.
The weather is still fine, the beers are still brilliant and the good vibes are ongoing in this week's brewery showcase episode.
Thanks to The Oak Barrell for supplying the beers, and Bracket Brewery for being one of Australia’s most underrated and rising superstars.
Beercast #57 - Shout Brewing
Hudson's turn to supply beers this week, and we're glad it was his Shout! The puns might be poor, but Shout Brewing's beers certainly weren't. Unlike the standard 3 cans generally on offer, Hudo has supplied the POD with 5 of Shout's finest works, including 4 core range beers and 1 limited edition release. These rising stars from Islington, NSW won't be a best keep secret for long, so get in on the ground floor alongside the Border Barrels lads and tell all your friends it's their Shout. (Sorry, again). Thanks to the team at Shout Brewing for the delicious brews. https://www.shoutbrewing.com.au/home Cheers to Great Beers! Beercast #56 - Future Brewing
A long summer has finally come to end (well sort of), and the Border Barrels boys have emerged from a gruelling pre-season, ready to sample beers from Australia's finest breweries once again! First up in round 1, we take on rising St Peter's stars Future Brewing. For our return to the podcast deck, Simmo brought extra goodies, with FOUR big limited release brews sampled. Alongside the delicious pilsner, hazy pale and IPA's, we consume a wealth of information about the brewery itself. We instantly became fans, and we're certain you will too. Thank you to Future for the fantastic selection of beers! It's good to be back!

Beercast #55 - Six-Twelve Brewing
It wouldn’t be a Gratzy showcase episode without a brewery starting with the letter S. Once again our tastebuds are travelling to South Australia, checking out relatively unknown (but not for long) rising stars Six-Twelve Brewing. Also in typical Gratzy fashion, a miscalculation took place and FIVE beers were sampled as opposed to the regular 3. We check our 3 core range brews and 2 limited releases, ranging from NEIPAs and West Coasts all the way up to a double red Rye IPA! Thanks to Six-Twelve Brewing for a great range of showcase beers and beerhug.com.au for making it all possible
BEERCAST #54 - Range Brewing II
The Border Barrel boys come full circle, celebrating podcast beer number 100 with a return to Range brewing! 12 months ago we embarked on a brewery showcase journey with the intention of learning about the great independent breweries of Australia (and a little bit of the world). Thanks to these legendary beer merchants we can now distinguish between certain hops and have fallen in love with new beer styles we'd previously (and foolishly) ignored. To honour beer number 100 of our unique rating system, we dive deep into the statistics to find our individual and collective favourites along the way, with some surprising results. You'll have to tune in to find out which beer was the one that raised the bat, but Range indirectly supplied us with 3 absolute epics! In Bloom DIPA Morning Ritual Pastry Stout Power Trip DDH WCIPA. Thanks to Range, The Lane Cellars, and most importantly everybody who has joined us on this journey so far! Cheers to the next 100!
Beercast #53 - Bacchus Brewing Co.
Simmo brought the goods for this week's episode, and 'goods' is absolutely the tamest way to describe it.
Ladies and gentlemen, the first unanimous 5/5 in Border Barrels history now resides in episode 53 of our Brewery Showcase series. Although it sounds like we're thanking Simmo, all the kudos goes to QLD legends Bacchus Brewing! Despite being familiar with their work, we all learnt some crazy things about their history and work ethic. Some of the pioneer innovators in the Australian craft beer scene that we adore so much. It probably shouldn't be too surprising that the favourite beer of the day was a big, old stout, but you'll have to click play to find out the extra special ingredients of the brew currently ranked 1st of almost 100 in our journey. Thanks to Bacchus for the wonderful afternoon and Hopheads for facilitating their consumption.
Beercast #52 - Dainton Beer
How did it take us this long? One of Australia’s favourite independent breweries finally gets their Border Barrels showcase episode, as 3 limited released beers from Victorian stalwarts Dainton are sampled on this week's episode. A GABs exclusive Choc Berry nitro sour kicks off proceedings. What follows are two absolute crackers, confirmed by our collective Untapped ratings. A collaborative anniversary 10 Hop NEIPA with New Zealand’s Bohemeth (Chur), and a rare (for us) black IPA, which is a roasty boy of epic proportions. Also included: Your usual shit banter and slightly interesting information on any topic the beer steers us in. Example: Does love making require mouthguards? You'd be happy to know we don't go into any detail on this particular question. Thanks to Dainton for a dynamic trio of brews, and The Lane Cellars for once again supplying the goods.
Beercast #51 - Hawkers Beer
We should have known something was up when Hudson told us to organise lifts to the podcast this week.
Upon arrival we were greeted to 3 of the BIGGEST beers in Border Barrels history, courtesy of Melbourne heavyweights Hawkers. Gratzy's heart is warmed by an obscure music reference for the Impending Doom Triple Hazy IPA.
Simmo gets his Biscuits Broken for the second time, in awe of the delectable Biscoff Porter, while all 3 of us marvel in terror & anticipation at the FIRST Barleywine we've ever reviewed! Thankfully we didn't continue recording after we'd finished these incredible, booze-heavy brews, because Shenanigan Sunday was in full swing and nobody needed to hear the rubbish we carried on with. For an episode and a Sunday afternoon we'll never forget, Hawkers, we thank you. Be sure to check out their first class core range, available where all good beer is sold.
Plus a special thanks to My Beer Dealer for supplying this week's products. Up the Hawkers!
Beercast #50 - Oktoberfest
Prost! Boy oh boy, this was a fun one! The Border Barrels crew presents a very special OKTOBERFEST episode, sparing absolutely no expense with kranskys, sauerkraut, lederhosen, and EIGHT German style beers on offering. This fantastic journey wouldn't have been possible without Melbourne’s Burnley Brewing and their limited edition Oktoberfest pack. 8 beers, including 6 collaborations with some of Australia's finest breweries (yes, even Mountain Culture!) We all learnt something about our favourite German styles, shared stories of our own Oktoberfest experiences (with mixed results), and hung shit on one another like always. If only one of us had considered bringing a stein... Thanks again to Burnley Brewing for a truly unique and educational beer drinking experience. And Germany for inventing beer. Which may or may not be true.
Beercast #49 - Kicks Brewing
Kickin' it old school style! Well, sorta. Simmo brings along some delicious brews from rising Marrickville stars Kicks, which includes the VERY FIRST Kolsch in Border Barrels history. More on brand are the Hazy and Cold IPA variations which are also sampled. We dig into the super cool can artwork to ignite our creative juices, subsequently ending with David and Margaret level observation of Christopher Nolan's films. How did one lead to the other? Much like Tenent, we have no idea. Thanks to Kicks Brewing for a tasty afternoon and The Lane Cellars for supplying the goods.
Beercast #48 - Seeker Brewing
We're all seekers of something.
For some, it's as heavy as the emotional security of lifelong happiness, perhaps sought after in career goals, children or overcoming lifelong anxieties. For us at Border Barrels, we tend to seek out beer. Good beer. REALLY good beer. Thankfully, up and coming Wollongong superstars Seeker Brewing have fulfilled our desires. We take a look at the short but rich history of the brewery, then start things off easy with a core range hazy session stunner. From 0 to 100, we then jump into a massive Oat Cream NEIPA and cap off proceedings with a decadent Imperial Stout. We also discover who brewed one of Simmo's favourite GABS beers (hint: It's Seeker). Then as usual, everything goes off the rails as Ferrets become a momentary conversation topic. Thanks to Seeker brewing for making incredible beers and The Lane Cellars for supplying the goods.

Beercast #47 - Garage Project
Coffee vs Tea... An age old debate. But on a beer podcast? It can only mean one thing, and that's experimental brew time. For the first time ever, our Brewery Showcase series goes international, courtesy of a very special trio of limited release beers from New Zealand masters Garage Project. Ingredients we've never heard of are thrown into our podcast whirlpool, resulting in a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. A sour, a porter and a hazy fill the bill, but these styles only scratch the surface of what these beers actually present. Thank you to Garage Project, for allowing us to bring you OUR garage project, live from the Not So Good Shed.
Beercast #46 - Bridge Road Bday Beers!
We hope you enjoy the letter B! You'll have no choice after this episode. Border Barrels. Beers. Brewery. Bridge Road. Beechworth. B2 Bomber. Bees! A stunning Spring afternoon was the setting for a very special showcase. Local legends Bridge Road were generous enough to supply the podcast with not one, but TWO yearly limited release B2 Bombers. These are mammoth beers, so you'll need to forgive the subsequent chaos that reigned. Thanks to Rhi and the team in Beechworth for supplying us with these beauties.

Beercast #45 - Co-Conspirators
After a late winter sabbatical, the Border Barrels crew returns to the Not So Good Shed for a deliciously malty afternoon, courtesy of Brunswick champions Co-Conspirators Brewing. Unlike our usual offering, this week's tasting paddle isn't full of hop-forward juicy IPAs. Instead, we confirm what we'd been suspecting for a while... dark Lagers rule. Simmo’s favourite Red IPA of all time is another highlight, as well as a chocolaty Baltic Poter to bring it all home. We also have a look at the history of the brewery, some interesting statistics from their UnTapped ratings, and give credit where it's due to their incredible graphic designer. Thanks to Co-Conspirators for the fantastic beers, The Lane Cellars for supplying them, and our fearless leader Simmo, for jumping back into the saddle after a difficult couple of months.

Beercast #43 - Mountain Monk Brewers
The final stop on our trek up Beer Mountain lands us at the West Peak hotel in beautiful Mount Beauty!
We spent an afternoon tasting beers and shooting the cool winter breeze with our new friends at Mountain Monk Brewers.
Punky, Mick and Steph talk us through the rich history of the unique venue, the origins of their beer journeys, and give us a preview of things to come with an advanced taster of their coffee milk stout!
We felt as though we'd known these legends for years, which I'm sure will be quite evident throughout our conversation. Plus, their hypothetical beer and music festival line-up certainly tickled the fancies of our tastes!
Thank you to the team at Mountain Monk and the West Peak Hotel for their humbling generosity. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be an ongoing collaborative relationship between the Monks and the Border Barrels boys.

Beercast #42 - Mountain Culture @ Beer Deluxe Albury
When starting this little beer journey, you could have knocked us over with a coriander leaf if you told us we'd be interviewing Mountain Culture for a Beer Deluxe tap takeover event.
Well... consider us floored by a famously Mexican condiment!
Sales superstar Jonny not only kept up with our typical motor-mouthed banter, he damn well eclipsed all of us for insight, opinion and banter on all things Mountain Culture and the wider craft beer scene.
Along for the ride was a tasting paddle consisting of 2 limited release IPAs, GABS hottest 100 winner Status Quo, a Double Red IPA and classic Moon Dust stout.
Thanks to Jonny for being so generous with his time, Mountain Culture for the incredible beers, and Beer Deluxe Albury for allowing us the space to record.
Please enjoy this final instalment (for now) of our Mountain Culture trilogy!

Beerscast #41 - Mountain Culture II
Okay, so we know the sequel is rarely as good as the original. However!...
Since this particular brewery resides in the remnants of a Civic Video store, you'll need to have some faith that our SECOND Mountain Culture showcase episode is just as good as its predecessor. The hops on show, including box office draw Citra, put in amazing performances worthy of recognition come award season. This single hop series from the Katoomba legends has tantalised our taste buds and enriched our beer education. Thank you to DJ, Harriet and the amazing team at Mountain Culture. Now, about that trilogy...

Beercast #40 - Mountain Culture
Mighty Mountain Culture. Three words, chiselled into the refined palates of craft beer drinkers Australia wide. The Border Barrels team finally take the deep plunge into Katoomba's finest, with a series of massive, single hop IPA's. We learn about Sabro, Comet and Centennial, as well as just how close our very own Hudson is to joining Tom Cruise levels of cult worship. Not to be outdone, Simmo struggles to hide his affection for Harriet and her whimsical wordplay, which creates the true cult of personality for the mighty Mountain Culture. Best in Australia? You voted yes in this year's GABS hottest 100. Best in the world? Surely it's only a matter of time.

Beercast #39 - One Drop Brewing II
A massive thank you to our new friends at One Drop Brewing Co, who were nice enough to support the podcast with two massively unique, limited release beers. We had no choice but to record a sequel on these guys, and the glitter sour from the first episode MIGHT have been dethroned for taste and creativity. The Double Fruited Smoothie Sour poured THICC, loaded with mango, guava, banana and vanilla. A unique hop experience courtesy of a collaborative brew with Dogma (from Serbia!), greeted us warmly as well.
Plus a surprise third beer hand picked by us! Thanks again to One Drop for allowing us to get our hop Drop on again, and all the new listeners and viewers who are supporting our journey through the wonderful world of Australian (and Serbian) craft beer.

Beercast #38 - Sure Brewing
Want to hear about a cool, new brewery and 5 of their delicious beers? SURE you do. In fact, we are so SURE you'll enjoy this weeks showcase episode of Border Barrels that we'd wager a beer on it. Only if it's a 300% Dynamite Red IPA, or a massive Kisses & Hugs Imperial Stout. SURE does sound like an enticing bet, doesn't it? If you hadn't already realised, SURE Brewing has arrived. John and the team were generous enough to supply this week's podcast with FIVE awesome brews, from a Gose and NZ Lager, to the aforementioned bet beers, as well as a tasty West Coast IPA. The really cool selling point? Each beer has its own Spotify playlist, inspired by the vibe of the beer itself. Support these new (but also old) kids on the block, and say SURE when you spot their beers out and about. https://surebrewing.com/ Enjoy. Beercast #37 - Hargreaves Hill II
Humbled by the generosity and inspired by the quality, this week's episode of Border Barrels is the first ever sequel showcase.
The absolute legends from Hargreaves Hill supplied us with a decadent bounty of IPAs and 2 MASSIVE stouts.
The Team World IPA is the Grand Finale of our initial Hargreaves Hill showcase POD. A combination of 6 incredible hops, brought together like a United Nations of flavours.
The annual R.I.S is a heavy stout release, with pure indulgence its intention. To add an extra boozy wrinkle to our Sunday afternoon, we then sample the bourbon barrel aged version of the same beer.
We cannot thank Andrew and the team at Hargreaves Hill enough for a wonderful afternoon of exploration.
Be sure to check out all the suppliers that we reference during the episode to get your hands on the beers sampled this week.

Beercast #36 - Murray Towns Brewing
HOW LUCKY ARE WE?! A wonderful experience for the Border Barrels lads, as Jodie and Barry from Murray Towns Brewing Co. joined us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon session at The Woolhouse in Albury. These generous gentlemen supplied us with all the exclusives!
Two development beers being the immediate highlight (Jodie is an absolute magician), plus all the exciting details of a future Murray Towns brewpub. We can already taste A Beer Named Sue, sure to be pouring on opening night. Jodie and Barry also provided us with details of their own personal beer journeys, and what ultimately lead to the creation of Murray Towns (Hint: It almost had a very different, hilarious name). Make sure to check our their current range of beers, available at select local venues on tap and in cans at local beer dealers. Thanks again to Barry and Jodie, as well as Gav and the team at The Woolhouse for allowing us to use their wonderful venue for this podcast. https://murraytowns.au/https://www.thewoolhouse.com.au/ Enjoy.

Beercast #35 - Bridge Road Brewers
We upgraded to the REAL Goods Shed this time, to bring you a special showcase episode on local legends Bridge Road. We chat with even bigger legend Rhiannon about her role at Beechworth's finest establishment, as well as tasting this year's Hop Harvest releases.
Rhiannon talks us through her journey from craft beer drinker to Bridge Road rep, and gives us the backstory behind the Hazy Harvest and Dark Harvest which we taste tested live. SPOILER ALERT: Both were absolutely delicious.
Thank you to Rhiannon and Bridge Road for allowing us the opportunity to talk all things beer, and The Goods Shed for hosting the evening.

Beercast #33 - Shapeshifter Brewing
Gratzy clearly stayed up all night howling at the Moon, because along with some delicious Shapeshifter beers, he brought a strained, raspy voice to the POD this week. The cure? How about an IPL, a Nordic Hazy, a big Oat Cream and a WILDCARD entry?! We take a look at the history of Adelaide's Shapeshifter Brewing Co while sampling some of their finest new releases, straight from the source itself courtesy of a special delivery driver. We also continue with our list of beers to look out for at this years GABS festival. Thank you to Shapeshifter Brewing, Jason our delivery man, plus new and existing subscribers for showing an interest in our journey. Tell your friends, because we have plenty more breweries to explore and we want more friends to take on the ride with us.

Beercast #32 - Hargreaves Hill
Get ready to raise a glass to national pride on this episode of Border Barrels! The legendary brewers from Hargreaves Hill have brewed up a triple threat of IPAs, each inspired by a hop country of origin.
It's a friendly competition between Team USA, Team Australia, and Team New Zealand, with Citra, Galaxy, and Nectaron hops vying for the top spot. Which hop will win your taste buds over? With every beer being as delicious as advertised, we're all winners in the end!
But that's not all - we'll also take a deep dive into Hargreaves Hill's rich brewing history, exploring some of their previous limited releases and sharing our historical Untapped ratings. And a special thanks to Otters Promise for supplying these tasty treats for us to enjoy.
Join us as we sip, savor, and celebrate the craft beer world with Hargreaves Hill's amazing brews. Cheers to good beer and good times!
Beercast #31 - Easter Special (Part Two)
Part TWO!
Beercast #31 - Easter Special (Part One)
It may be the holiest of long weekends, but aint no act of God gonna slow down the Border Barrels train.
The Not So Good Shed is greeted to a severe downpour, rendering recording a hopeless task. Thankfully we were able to use the inconvenience as a much needed half time break.
Why a half time break you ask? Well we present to both you and ourselves the Beer Cartel Easter pack, choc full of malty, alcoholic goodness in limited edition beer form.
We won't spoil the fun, but come join us on a Good Friday adventure down a deliciously decadent craft beer rabbit hole
Beercast #30 - Lost Palms
We like to think we're a professional, well organised trio. This week's Brewery Showcase doesn't necessarily change that, but there are more twists, turns and genuine LOL's than we ever could have expected. It's Gratzy's turn to supply the beers, but through coincidence (or telepathy) Huddo inevitably brings extras as we dive DEEP into an unprecedented FIVE limited release brews from Queensland's Lost Plams Brewing Co. In other words, WILDCARD BITCHES. IPA's, Sours and the very first Flemmish Red Ale greet our tastebuds this week. The crew from Miami floor us with some of the most unique beers ever sampled on the POD. Thanks to Lost Palms for an extraordinary afternoon and My Beer Dealer for being our beer dealer. We certainly lost our Palm Trees at times during a chaotic, hop filled hour.

Beercast #29 - Fox Friday
It's gotta be Friday somewhere! To be more specific, it's a very Foxy Friday in the Not So Goods Shed. A sweltering March afternoon called for some big, fun beers, courtesy of soon-to-be jugganaut Fox Friday Brewing. Our little hiatus came to an end thanks to Simmo supplying the BB crew with a Pale Ale, Hazy IPA and West Coast IPA, all part of the Fox Friday core range. The major lesson we learnt from our afternoon of discovery was that quality counts for everything and we're likely doing a sequel at a later date. Thank you to Fox Friday for the brews and to My Beer Dealer for making it possible. Be sure to check out Fox Friday's very own podcast, which is sure to be far more informative than our heat-stroked ramblings.

Beercast #28 - [Working Title Brew Co]
[Border Barrels back at it again]
We felt it was important to work our name into the title this week, in honour of our favourite new Queenslanders, Working Title Brew Co. Hudson provided this weeks POD with 3 MASSIVELY unique beers, ranging from an Ice Cream sour to a Coffee ale and a Lime puree Milkshake DIPA. We manage to successfully make amends for our GABS top 5 gaffe from last week. What exactly did we vote for? All is revealed!
We also live up to our word by providing a loyal listener with a delicious collection of beers. All it took was some interaction via social media. Could you be next?

Beerscast #27 - Aether vs Revel
The boys return for the first brewery showcase of 2023, but with a last minute twist.
Gratzy is the beer dealer this week, supplying the pod with the first ever Border Barrels Battle of the Breweries. If you manage to say that last part 3 times in a row you've unlocked a delicious journey of beers designed by Queensland legends Aether and Revel.
IPAs, sours and stouts are on the menu as we put both breweries under the microscope with our unique rating system, as well as deciding which brewer ultimately takes home the chocolates.

Beercast #26 - Christmas Special
Here it is! Our gift to you.
Well... More so a gift to ourselves. For a special treat this holiday season, Simmo, Hudd and Gratzy staged an epic Border Barrels Xmas party. A long-form POD filled with any topic that took our fancy in the moment, held together by our love of great beers.
9 brews in total, dispersed via lottery.
Who wins big?
All 3 of us. And you.
Relive a boozy, fun-filled afternoon with your favourite craft beer nuffies.
Beercast #25 - Blackman's Brewery
It's Simmo's turn to supply the goods this week. Being the thoughtful, nostalgia fiend he is, he transported us back to a friends holiday on the front steps of Torquay's Blackman's Brewery.
You might think this is 'just another IPA' Beercast... And you'd be correct. However we have a very justifiable reason. Today we sipped and savoured 3 beers from Blackman's JUST ANOTHER IPA series, enjoying some unique hop combinations in BIG BOY 500ml cans.
Like always, we looked deep into the history of the brewery, gave some super amateur tasting notes and waxed lyrical about ocean piss, East Kent Golding origins and Goanna parties. (It'll make sense when you listen).
Thank you to Blackman's for a delicious afternoon and The Lane Cellars for access to the brews.

Beercast #24 - Kaiju Beer
The Border Barrels crew turn into biologists on this weeks pod, discovering brand new Kaiju Mutations plus some exciting, unexpected tidbits about the brewery of the same name.
Black metal references, Simpsons influences and enough wall art to fill MONA are just some of the crazy directions this weeks journey into Kaiju Brewing takes us.
It's another IPA heavy edition, with a NEIPA, Hazy Double and Dank West Coast all sampled.
Mutation Program #0007 Space Lord
NEIPA Mutation Program #0009 Immortal Jellyfish Double Hazy IPA
The Dank Shelbyville IPA (with Dr. Colossus)
Thank you to Kaiju for the incredible beers, as well as The Lane Cellars for supplying them to us.
Finally a special shoutout to Tim Doyle for his glorious can artistry. He can be found at http://www.timdoyle.com and @timothypdoyle on instagram.
Enjoy. This one's a monster.

Beercast #23 - Sunday Road
This week, we're taking the Sunday Road to Hop-town!
Okay, so that opening joke sucked, but the beers enjoyed on our Sunday Road Brewing Co showcase certainly didn't.
We enjoyed a New World IPA, an Oat Cream IPA, plus revisit an Imperial Stout that Simmo strained through both his liver and his laptop just 4 short weeks ago.
Off-Roadie - New World IPA
Dust From a Distant Sun - Oat Cream IPA
Some Velvet Evening - Imperial Stout
A short but sweet history of this rising brewery is also looked into.
Thank you to our new friends at Sunday Road, who certainly left a lasting impression on the Border Barrels crew with 3 banging beers.
Also thank you to The Lane Cellars for supplying todays treats.
Enjoy!

Beercast #22 - Range Brewing
This week we decided to try something different and start tasting and reviewing beers from the same brewery. First cab off the rank, we tasked ourselves to taste and review some of the brilliance that is Range Brewing.
We put our BRAND NEW Border Barrels rating system to the test, exploring the intricacies and face belting flavour explosions, as well as the visual and textual arts unique to each beer.
The lineup consisted of:
Living the Dream - IPA
Another Day in Paradise - California IPA
Double Dripping in Green - Chinook, Citra and El Dorado West Coast IPA
We learnt a lot in this episode and we hope you do too!
Beercast #21 - Kaiju, Hope & Modus
It's Thirsty Devil launch week and we couldn't be more excited! Well... A couple of us at least. Simmo was rude enough to attend a friends wedding instead.
In the real world, we discuss the important news making waves in the craft beer world. The 'consolidation' between Wayward and Batch, the GABS can art countdown, the revelation that is Spectrum hopping, plus initial reactions to a few new beers from fresh local legends at Thirsty Devil.
For taste testing this week, Simmo required an old faithful entry level pale to assist his wedding induced hangover.
The dynamic Hudd dives into a 500ml Modus Hazy and a Belgium barrel aged sour.
Gratzy enters the third dimension courtesy of a super special 11% IIIPA from our overlords at Hope.
All this and some hints at future plans for the BB crew on a brand new episode.

Beercast #20 - Badlands, Sunday Road & Banks (Return of the Gratz)
After a 5 week hiatus the tripod was finally whole again. Gratz returned to the desk with a Badlands limited release, while Simmo and Hud brought their A game with 2 MASSIVE beers that ensured chaos reigned supreme.
From a serious standpoint, we discuss the origins and legitimacy of Selzter in the craft beer world.
Huddo has a financial gripe with a special beer event and we tend to agree with his sentiment.
A SUPER EXCITING (potentially) EXCLUSIVE reveal about the Albury/Wodonga craft beer scene. Let's just say it appears good things come in 2's...
Plus a battle as old as time breaks out in the Not So Goods Shed, as Simmos laptop goes one on one with a spilt 9.5% stout. Who comes out on top? Definitely not Sime, we know that for sure.
The aforementioned Badlands Brewing, Sunday Road and Banks provide the liquid gold on this week's episode of Border Barrels Beeercast
Gratzy: Badlands Brewing - Acronym Abuse Neipa
Huddo: Banks - Addicted to Pies Imperial Pastry Sour
Simmo: Sunday Road - Laptop Stout

51 - Boy Oh Boy Wowee
As BT would say, Boy Oh Boy Wowe it's getting down to the wire now! Huddo and Sime give you their hot takes for the games from the weekend and their gf predictions. Looks like it could be a divided pod with Simmo backing Geeeeeelong and Hudd favouring the youthful exuberance of the Sydney Swans. I've never used exuberance in a sentence before. How did I go?

Beercast #17 - Deeds, Bright Brewery
In this week of the beercast we sample some dark beauties from Deeds and Bright Brewery. We delve into the price of maple syrup per kg and an old friend phones in with an absolute belter of a question.
Huddo: Deeds Brewing - Legahoo Tropical Stout
Simmo: Bright Brewery - Maple Heist Porter
*Apologies for the lateness of posting
49 - Season Recap DOUBLE EPISODE
Huddo and Simmo do a season recap of the 2022 AFL season including many a stat. MANY A STAT. Good for some recon if you're already looking ahead to the 2023 SuperCoach season with top performers, POD's and potential picks for next year.
Enjoy.
Beercast #16 - Mountain Culture vs Garage Project/Range Brewing
Huddo and Simmo were back in the not so good shed for some more beers and beer related news. Absent: Gratzy
Huddo: Garage Project/Range Brewing - Lights and Music
Simmo: Mountain Culture - Yellow Brick Road
Again, Apologies for this being late.
48 - That time Hudson & Simmo decided to commentate the end of a game
See description.
Beercast #15 - Banks, Bridge Road
Twas only two outta three present for the latest beercast in the not so good shed. Simmo was fresh back from a Bridge Road Brewery pushing a wild conspiracy around the true ABV of New Sky Volume 1. Huddo was his charming self. Beers were drank, laughs were had
Huddo: Banks Brewing - Run With It DIPA
Simmo: Bridge Road Brewers - New Sky Volume 1 Californian IPA.
Until next week. Well.. a few days from now. (Sorry it was late AGAIN)
Beercast #14 - Bridge Road/Garage Project, Brick Lane, 7th Day Brewing
This week on the Beercast, the boys run through their beers of the week. Simmo finally finishes his GABS journey, Zach overcomes his fear and goes back to and old favourite and Huddo drinks a beer which may cause him to be missing and presumed drunk.
Gratzy: Bridge Road/Garage Project Dark Harvest Fresh Hop Black IPA
Huddo: Brick Lane
Simmo: 7th Day Brewing - Dropping F Bombs NEIPA
We discuss collaborations between breweries and their positive effect on the industries and ask the question. Does the tap on the top of the beer do anything at all?
47 - AFL Si-Phi hour
Hud and Gratzy want to do all they can to keep their failed Supercoach preliminary finals off their minds, so things get a bit nutty in The Not So Good Shed.
We almost shed a tear along with Ben Cunnington, as the great man makes his long awaited return from cancer. We run through the Supercoach history of 14 retiring stars of the game.
You'll also never guess how siphoning petrol could be a running gag on a footy podcast, but low and behold we make it happen. All this and plenty more on a crazy episode of Border Barrels.
