In the latest episode of Share Your Secrets we hear from people in some of the cities where Bounceback Food CIC have been batch cooking and distributing meals to those most impacted by the cost of living crisis this winter. Host Miriam Rendell talks to Grace Namwanje, a GP social prescribing link worker in Dudley, about how Bounceback Food CIC's outreach work in the West Midlands has supported the development of a weekly cookery class for migrant women and survivors of domestic abuse at Creheart Community Centre. Jo Gordon, director of My Sisters' Kitchen, shares how her social enterprise provides training, employment and sense of belonging to some of the most disadvantaged women in Sunderland. Teresa Smare from St Vincent's in Newcastle explains how the organisation supports vulnerable individuals and families in the North East area.
