I hope you are all well.
I recorded this talk+ lesson on 3/20/2020 with my sweet consultant, Buddhist teacher, movement expert and MUSE - Zoe.
In this PODCAST I talk about CONSTRAINT's and how they lead to NEW innovations in the world and in Feldenkrais Lessons + I teach the HOOP Arms Lesson.
If you want to skip ahead to the Movement Lesson it starts at 11:14:00 minutes in.
HOW TO DO LESSONS: All Movement Lessons should be done slowly and gently. You never do any movement the creates any strain or discomfort. You can take a rest at any time during the lesson. Most of this lesson you are lying on the floor so make sure you have anything you need to be comfortable. You can have a flat pillow or rolled up towel under your head if you like.
Let me know what you topics and Movement Lessons you would like me to cover in future PODCATs: firstname.lastname@example.org
WELCOME to my weekly Feldenkrais Psychology Lounge Podcast. Each week we explore new aspects of your Brain Body Mind connection.
On todays show I will take you through an EASY movement lesson you can do lying on the ground that will transform the way you think and feel.
Todays lesson has sometimes been called Flexors & Extensors or Simple Turning.
All the movement exercises should be done gently. Always do the easiest and least effortful movement possible. Rest as much as you like. Don't ever do anything that hurst, creates pain or feels like it takes a lot of effort. Aim for having each movement feel effortless, pleasurable and relaxed.
