As a busy real estate professional, 70% of my time is in the car between appointments. This 1. is very efficient and I love efficiency and 2. this is where I do my best thinking!
So today enjoy this little car ride special, understanding that your health = your wealth, and when you take care of you, you will perform better, give better service, be more focused, make less mistakes, be more efficient, and ultimately this will all trickle down to improving your bottom line.
My challenge to you is instead of finding more things to-do to get more business or more marketing or more branding, why not use the time you have to take care of you, consistently. Literally the last 3-5 years I have focused on creating a workflow in my real estate business so I can be more productive, less stressed and more focused on activities that will grow my business.
I break out my three (simple, yet very powerful) strategies that have improved my work flow in this podcast. Remember, you need to figure out what works for you and your personality. So take what you can from this podcast, test out a few things, choose what works for you, then stick to them!
My 3 ways that improved my workflow:

Ep. 63 How to Have a Productive Real Estate Business Planning Season
Anyone else gearing up for their business planning season? My season is always the last quarter of the year, and that is only a week and a half away as I type this. October 1st - December 31st I set out to use this time to reset, evaluate, review and plan for an epic business and marketing plan for the coming year. More than that, I use this time to treat this season like a celebration or retreat - celebrating what I have accomplished and celebrating the year to come.
For a productive biz planning season you should schedule it, celebrate it, have accountability, get clear on why you are doing a planning session, get organized ahead of time with a plan in place.
What do I do once I am in my real estate biz planning session: Celebrate, reset, audit my production, set very intentional goals, review my marketing foundation (ICA, branding, etc.), create my entire big-picture marketing plan for the following year, decide what process, SOP's, systems I need to put into place before my fiscal year starts and put together a a project plan for all.

Ep. 59: SOP: Following up & following through on leads (& making more money!)
Processes, procedures, & systems are the key to running a productive real estate businesses. Trust me - I have always been a fly-by-the-seat of my pants kinda girl so implementing processes was never my thing. However, slowly but surely I implemented process & procedures and my business and LIFE are benefiting 10-fold! Here is how this has helped me in business & life:
- Saving soooo much time by being more productive (not inventing the wheel every time)
- Saving soooo much time by being organized (I spend less time looking for things)
- Less stress! Like a ton of less stress. I am practically floating on a cloud over here (ok, not really, I have insane anxiety, but this has helped!)
- More money! By having a system in place, especially with leads, I am consistently making more connections & staying top of mind and this means I am selling more real estate and making more money! (& who doesn't love more money, and not having to feel like they worked harder for it!)
I was recently asked "How do you check in with leads?"... "What does your process look like?"... And this podcast will answer my very own process!
DISCLAIMER: This is a process that works for my personality, my workload/lead intake, and my real estate market. Take it all for your own implementation, or simply pick and choose what works for YOU, your personality and your real estate market. We are all so different and our minds work differently, so don't have try to force yourself into a square that doesn't fit. The trick is finding what works for you, and sticking to it until it becomes a habit.

Ep. 58 Controlling the conversation: Start controlling your life, business & brand reputation
Hey Realtor, repeat after me " I am not an order taker, I am a consultant, a professional, a business owner." Stop allowing clients and customers to control the conversation and it starts with not picking up the phone. SAY WHAT! Yes, you heard that right. I probably have people who will disagree with me because this is their model of giving great service and being a great communicator. Heck, I was trained this way - to not have boundaries, to not miss a call, to jump the second someone tells me to.... until, I rushed to pick up that call one day and ruined my reputation within minutes because I wasn't "ready" or in the right head space or in front of my files to control the conversation... This was my aha moment and the model of the way I ran my business changed immediately. Since then, I have been able to give better service and control the conversations to not only benefit me, but my clients also.
When you set boundaries around these conversations you control your stress, your reputation, how the situation is handled, your clients stress/emotions, the overall outcome (solutions) and it is way more productive (saving both you and the person on the other end a lot of time).
