In this episode, we're talking about something really close to my heart: identifying and replacing self-limiting beliefs.

The perfect example in Scripture is Moses, who, when prompted by God to go and speak to the Pharaoh, told God all the reasons he couldn't!

Using Moses as our illustration, join me as I help you find and destroy the internal beliefs that are limiting your potential.

In one of the most revelatory passages in Scripture, John says in 1 John 4 that "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." This verse, and the entirety of this passage, shows us that LOVE is the clearest marker of being a Christian, and that it is the very PROOF of our relationship with God.

So, why do so many Christians think of their holiness, doctrinal purity, political convictions, church attendance, and nearly anything else as the foundation and fundamental proof of their relationship with God, when John is so clear that LOVE, above all things, is the evidence of a transformed life!?

God is omnipresent, meaning He is at all places.

But He's not only everywhere- He's everywhere at all times.

What would it do to your confidence level if you knew that you were never alone, and that whatever new situation you were stepping into, God was already there?

Bishop Jakes recently said 'it is easier to castigate somebody you admire rather than admit that you relate to them [not just at their best, but at their worst.]' Often, when we see public figures, particularly faith leaders, fail, we pick up our stones and begin throwing them at them, rather than examining ourselves and realizing that the same seeds that birthed their failures live within us. Perhaps we would be better off learning from their failures, rather than calling them failures and dismissing them entirely. Perhaps when we realize that we are all human, we will be more able to judge ourselves, which is a righteous goal, rather than judging others, which is only bad for us.

God will fill as much space in our lives as we give Him. So, how can we give more space for Him to operate?

Some lessons learned and reflections on the amazing trip to Israel God allowed me to go on earlier this year.

2023 is the year that we're going to actually do the difficult things God's leading us to do! For some, that might mean leaving what's familiar to start something new. For others, that might be staying in what's challenging. Either way, if God is the one leading you to do it, follow Him in faith, and see what He does!

We often view life through a lens of limitation and lack and become frustrated when we see other people being blessed because we believe that there's only so much to go around for everyone. God's Kingdom is limitless and unending, and learning to believe that there truly is enough for everyone in every area enables us to take up joy and drop jealously in every situation.

Often, we experience internal frustration because we're more focused on God's promise of outward fruit than on His process of obtaining it. Jesus' teaching in John 15 shows us how to fix our focus on the one thing that will actually produce fruit in and through our lives.

We can only show real love once we've recieved real love, but we'll only allow ourselves to recieve love to the level that we believe ourselves worthy of love. In this episode, we look at how God's love completes us and compels us to selflessly love others.

Fear is one thing we all experience. God's Word speaks to real things that we genuinely struggle with, and since fear is so common, it makes sense for God to talk about it consistently in the Bible.

Proverbs 27:3 says that 'As a man thinketh, so he is.' The way we think determines who we are. So, how do we align our thoughts with God's, and why is it so important?

Many of us have heard stories and read passages of the miracle-working, supernatural God of the Bible, but have yet to have a personal interaction with His wonder-working power. There is no better human life than the one that seeks to honor God in everything. But, how do we prevent ourselves from a life that outwardly appers to glorify God but in reality seeks to use God to make much of ourselves?

There are very few people, Christian or otherwise, who would say they don't want to sin less. We all live imperfectly, and we know it, and for the most part, we genuinely want to change. What if within the narrrative of the very first sin were both the same mistakes that we make each and every time that we sin, as well as solutions that will empower us to sin less?

Jesus' call on the lives of all who follow Him is to live as He lived (Colossians 1:27). Knowing we can't do it alone, He gives us the Holy Spirit to empower us to do it. And as we live as He lived, we point people to Him. What if the best way to point people to Jesus is to live as He lived: fully alive and called as a son or daughter?
