Tays Pascual wrestled for Truman High School under Coach Cook. She had much success at the freestyle and folkstyle levels. Before attending Truman High School she had experience wrestling in Middle School, as we talk about in the episode. Tays has had success at high-level tournaments like Fargo and Virginia Beach. She will be attending Sacred Heart University in the fall. Being the first Woman Wrestler from NYC to go D1!!!!!

Sulayman Bah exhibits strength in all aspects of his life: an exceptional student, a talented wrestler, a leader amongst his peers. Beginning his journey with Beat the Streets in sixth grade, eighth-grader Bah has accomplished leaps and bounds, with a limitless future ahead of him. Bah had a breakthrough year in seventh grade. In his final season with the Beat the Streets Junior League, Bah won the NY Youth States.

• 1st in the Youth State Championships
• A sixth-place finish at the NHSCA National Championship in Virginia Beach.
• Junior League Male Athlete of the Year 
• Received all-tournament recognition at the Schoolboy National Duals. 
• 2021 Prep Nationals Finalist

“Beat the Streets has helped bring out the best in me,” Bah said, “With the support system they’ve built for me, I’ve been able to improve and learn things from people with more experience, such as Brandon Nunez and Wilver Mariano Peralta.”

Randall had worked with USA Wrestling from 2012-18, including a USA Wrestling’s Assistant Women’s National Coach. In 2016, Randall became the first female coach to receive gold certification within USA Wrestling’s National Coaches Education Program - the highest level of achievement within the program. Her coaching career with USA Wrestling began after accepting an internship with the Women’s Freestyle National team during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Her duties included coaching Cadet, Junior U23, and Senior teams at the Pan American, World, and Olympic levels; developing USA Wrestling’s extensive age-group women’s development camp program; and coaching resident athletes at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. She became the head women’s coach at Beat the Streets NYC IN 2018.

Nia wrestled at Truman High School under coach Cook and attends King University where she is a multi-time All-American. We talk about growing up in Co-op, wrestling at Truman, being an All-American & More!

Sophia is a stand-out at multiple combat sports! She was a recent NCWWC All-American (4th Place) in 2021. She has been involved with BTSNY since high school where she began her wrestling career at the age of about 15. Despite starting late, she is still accomplishing numerous goals in wrestling and off the mat. Her determination, hard work, and consistency keep her ready for all types of competition. She explains what her workouts consist of, growing up in NYC, getting involved with BTS, her mindset, winning Kickboxing titles & more!
