Gospel By Gaslight

Distraught over Eve joining Phillip Craft's cult, Patrick seeks to learn more about the charismatic leader, hoping to expose his connection to dark powers.  Meanwhile, the vampire lord Nicolai schemes to bring an end to the nuisance of religious zealots causing trouble in his city.  The pieces are set as power is vied for in the city of Rivenrath.  

After enjoying success in his first confrontation against the vampires that rule Rivenrath, Patrick is concerned about Eve's fascination with the enigmatic Phillip Craft.  The charismatic activist preaches overthrowing the oppressive regime that keeps Rivenrath in fear, yet Patrick fears that Craft's intentions are sinister in nature.  Ideologies collide and dark secrets are revealed as Patrick contends with a rival in his mission to set the people free of their monstrous overlords.  

Mack Stevens is a fiction writer by trade who wants to legitimize his career by writing about yet fantastic yet true events.  When his research reveals nothing that he thinks is worthy of his efforts, he meets a mysterious old man who knows the secret history of the city of Rivenrath and the man who saved it from an ancient demon.
