Episode Eleven- Katy Foley
Katy Foley is from Chicago’s Southside. Daughter of two lawyers, acting became critical from a young age. She trained at Second City and NYU Tisch. She ran a marathon and became part of an Emmy-winning campaign. She booked her first ABC guest star because of a faulty water bottle. Recent credits include Lifetime’s Twisted Nanny and the Slowdown Movie (set to release in 2022).

As seen on MTV’s True Life, STARZs Blunt Talk, and a stage near you Dakota the Bearded Lady has been bringing laughs and awe to the stage for the past six years. Born with a genetic anomaly that goes back to the days of Freakshows of old, Dakota not only has the most luxuriously soft beard this side of the Mississippi but she’s been putting it to work entertaining and amazing all who meet her with her talented tendrils and the amazing ability to withstand high amounts of pain. She’s big, she’s beautiful, she’s bearded and she’ll shock and amaze all who cross her path.

Chardonhaaay True Crime is the brainchild of Dakota the Bearded Lady, Dakota who grew up terrified of blood or death turned that fear into fascination and has devoted her free time to learning and absorbing as much as she can about true crime, and what makes people turn away from the core instinct of do no harm most people are born with. At the start of the shutdown in 2020 Dakota, with nothing to do decided to go on facebook live with a bottle of wine and start talking about the one thing she knew she knew well, True Crime, and from that night a show was born.
