Unpicking Unconscious Bias

Break That Mould

Following Your Dreams & the Energy of Money
This episode explores how the energy of wealth and money ties into the kind of career we allow ourselves to have, and why we don’t need to follow the ‘sensible’ path, work ourselves to the bone, or do what others expect of us in order to achieve security or financial abundance. Having a basic understanding of energy can allow us to tap into financial freedom no matter what circumstances we are starting from. And furthermore, it explains why following our dreams can actually be the more sensible thing to do! LINKS: Website: Instagram:  Facebook:  YouTube:

Unpicking Unconscious Bias
From mental health to prejudice and social embarrassment, we are all subject to subconscious judgements and assumptions that affect how we are perceived, or how we perceive the world. It is natural to form opinions and beliefs based on our personal experiences, but when we view those opinions as hard facts, they can become unconscious bias about ourselves or others. This episode explores the impacts of bias, and how we can become more aware of our thought processes for the good of our own wellbeing. LINKS: Website: Instagram:  Facebook:  YouTube:

She discusses how the mind-body connection might be the bridging piece of the puzzle that could unite the two viewpoints, and ultimately lead to improved wellbeing across the board. This episode discusses the subtle ways our wellbeing is affected by media messaging, whether it’s from the news, influencers, social media, or people we know posting online. It's OK to Be a Quitter
Don’t throw in the towel… don’t be a quitter… don’t give up… The way we frame quitting can condition us to think that putting a stop to something might be a bad thing or a sign of weakness. But this perspective can be detrimental to wellbeing, keeping us stuck in bad relationships, jobs that suck away our soul, and tied to goals that no longer serve us. This episode explores how we can change our mindset around goals for the good of our wellbeing and mental health.  Website: Instagram:  Facebook:  YouTube:

Sexuality Labels and our Sense of Identity
Sexuality often forms a core part of our sense of identity. From polyamory and monogamy, to gender and sexual orientation, where our preferences have been negatively labelled by society, we often feel ashamed and fear judgement. Or alternatively we might be angry and feel a need to defend our right to be who we are. Learning to Break the Mould
The first episode of the Break That Mould Podcast explores some of the subtle ways we follow the crowd without realising it. From relationship structures, to career, sex, body image, and lifestyle, we are all born into a system that came before us. But many of the trodden paths we follow don’t serve our wellbeing or allow us to feel free to be our real selves. The good news is that those paths are not something we have to conform to, they are simply what other people have done before us. If we become more aware of our true needs and feelings, we might realise there are a whole range of options available to us that we never even considered. Website: Instagram:  Facebook:  YouTube:
