Personal finance is the least-taught and most confusing subject in life that we rely on for our overall well-being. That ends today with this podcast along with my videos and online classes.

Acorns Investing Returns: Mistake or Genius?
Acorns investing is a streamlined way to invest. I've recommended it to tons of new investors including my family members. But my account is down 23% since I've started investing. Is this a massive mistake? Am I a fool for using this service? And should I just be picking my own investments instead? Let's talk about it today.

Growth through difficulty
More of the “why” behind the crazy goal I’ve chosen: running an ultramarathon. People historically have proven to be innovative, resilient, and strong and yet I feel that I have not developed in those ways very much. Let’s change that.

First Ultramarathon: An absurd goal
Running an ultra for the first time is stupid. To anyone with a logical viewpoint at least. There is no objectively valuable reason to do such a thing. But I’ve chosen to do it. This is the big hairy audacious goal for 2021. Here’s my history with long running and plan for running a 50k.

Grand Canyon Hiking/Running Tips!
If you or a friend are planning to hike or run in the Grand Canyon, listen to these tips first! One of the most popular adventures in the Grand Canyon is traveling from one side to the other. This is appropriately named: “Rim to Rim” because you are going from one edge of the canyon to the other. The trek from one side of the Grand Canyon to the other is a massive effort but is one of the most incredible things you can do on foot! It is totally worth it, but you need to be prepared and wise to make sure you have a fun and safe time.

9 Steps to Financial Freedom
These 9 steps are my recommendation for a path to follow to real financial security, freedom, and complete independence! There are a few different schools of thought out there about how to reach financial independence. The most popular is probably Dave Ramsey’s “Baby Steps”. It’s actually surprising to me that more people aren’t talking about ways to become financially sound. Generally, financial topics of conversation seem to revolve around only 2 areas: wishing they could making more money or how they just spent money. We aren’t helping each other with these topics generally. Instead, I want to share more specific strategies about how to plan ahead and achieve financial security, independence, and mastery!
