BH Instagram Live Episode #13 | A conversation with CANDY TONG
What a pleasure it was to talk with @candytong12 about her incredible career up till now! You won’t believe how old this girl is considering the career she has had.  Candy Tong is a professional dancer with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, signed model with Stetts NYC/ LA, and most currently a fashion designer/ entrepreneur.  Born in San Francisco, California, she started her training at the San Francisco Ballet School under full scholarship. Candy graduated from the English National Ballet School (London, England) where she received a diploma in Dance from the Trinity College, whilst touring with the company.   Prior to joining ENB, Candy has been competing in dance competitions since she was a little girl, Crowned Miss Dance of CA in 2013, Top 3 for Miss Dance of America that same year. She has placed in top 3 for all prestigious world ballet competitions such as the prestigious; Youth America Grand Prix and American Ballet Competition. She has been featured both in Pointe Magazine and Dance Magazine, the NY Times, and Huffington Post some of her work has been showcased in many campaigns such as Nikon Europe, Reebok, Maybelline to name a few.  She has been named as “10 most inspiring dancers to follow on Instagram” by Dance Informa.   Besides dancing, Candy has been diving into her other creative realms such as launching her own brand from scratch called, Candy Tong - The Collection as well as establishing a Youtube Channel where she showcases daily vlogs of what it is like to be a professional dancer, especially during this pandemic.  For a little over a year now, Candy has been working on building her campaign, “Unapologetically Asian” in hopes to bring awareness to specifically the dance community the beauty and rare-find of what is to be an Asian American dancer in the ballet world.

BH Live Episode #12 | Interviewing GABE DE GUZMAN
I had such an amazing time interviewing @gabedofficial ... Have a read of her BIO below.  19-year-old Gabe De Guzman is a 4th generation Disney Mouseketeer in Club Mickey. He started dancing at the age of 5 to train in a variety of dance styles and had worked with some of the biggest music icons including Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, LILNASX, BTS and list goes on.  Gabe had also danced and one of the only four kids who had ever performed at the 49th Superbowl Halftime Show with Missy Elliot and Katy Perry, and won the Twitch and Allison Dance Challenge getting to appear on The Ellen Show to take his bow!  He had worked with every major choreographer in the commercial dance industry and being mentored by them has inspired Gabe to pursue the field of choreography. He had choreographed for the Go90 BoySquad series, Club Mickey Mouse where he also played starring himself, music videos, opening number for SAG Looking Ahead Awards and UNICEF Gala. He is also a passionate dance educator and had taught numerous workshops inside the US and around the world.

International Latin Recording Artist and Choreographer Liana Veda; born in Massachusetts, has toured the world over the course of 10+ years promoting her musical projects. Her career began and continues to flourish as a professional dancer, choreographer, and fit pro. Having worked in many different areas ranging from entertainment to fitness and from live performance to film and tv. Liana's background includes over 25 years of dance experience, having studied everything from Ballet to Funk, and Hip Hop to Latin, and has twenty years of professional work to her credit. She has travelled to many different corners of the world teaching different styles of Master Classes to instructors and students of all levels. As a proud member on Phunk Phenomenon, featured on the tv program, 'America's Best Dance Crew," Liana featured as a Boson Celtics dancer, choreographer and coach for “Lil’ Phunk;” their Official Children’s Dance Team. Throughout her career, Liana has been able to share stages with such artists as Brittney Spears, TLC, Lil’ Jon, Pitbull, Don Omar, Sean Paul, Timbaland, Shaggy and Daddy Yankee just to name a few. Liana was also a featured dancer in Wisin y Yandel’s music video “Rakata;" one of the most successful Reggaeton songs to date. She also is credited one of its choreographers. In addition, she has choreographed concert tours for artists such as Khriz y Angel, Wibal y Alex, Baby Ranks, and many more. Off the stage, Liana also had a wonderful time creating and providing choreography for the "Dance Twister," and "Just Dance" games. I am over the moon to be interviewing a close friend of mine and photographer to the star Peter Neill @shootthesound (he’s the one been making me look good lately). We are going to talk about everything photography while also getting some really valuable advice for you performers/creatives out there.  Peter Neill is a Music Industry Photographer & Sony Ambassador who specialises in working with bands in all settings from the back of the tour bus, the studio to the stage. Clients include Queen, Justin Timberlake, The Script, U2, Rick Astley Elbow, Will.i.am & many more. Peter specialises in working in situations that are very demanding both technically and creatively, and as such he shoots with an A7s II and an A7rIII. Natalie Gray is a singer-songwriter from London and former frontwoman of synth band “L.A.D”. Natalie has supported the likes of Kaiser Chiefs at Penn Fest and Becky Hill at London Pride, as well as touring in a musical with David Hasselhoff. Natalie is the vocalist featured on the Eddie Craig and Charlie Hedges track “You’re No Good For Me” and on the Billy Da Kid and Joel Corry track “Get What You Give” featured on Radio One, Captial FM and Celebs Go Dating.
