Ep. 42: How to Get Through a Breakup
On this episode of Beyond Just Christian Podcast, Brenna shares her most insightful tips to get through a breakup. Though this episode is catered more towards female listeners, these recommendations can also be applied to men who are grieving a loss of a relationship. Ep. 41: Pressed But Not Crushed: Brenna's Testimony
On this episode of Beyond Just Christian Podcast, Brenna shares her near-death experience that took place December 10th, 2023. While driving in a heavy rainstorm, a tree had fallen on her car, which resulted in an unpredicted wreck. Though her vehicle was completely pressed, she, herself, was not crushed.
For two months, Brenna wore a neck-brace, which resulted in not being able to work, drive, or do basic tasks without assistance. She shares with listeners how she had to lose all sense of normalcy to draw closer to God in intimacy. The goal of this episode is to remind listeners that God is in control of life and death, and He is the one who rescues us. The goal of healing is to not return to "normalcy," but to live changed in a way that glorifies God.

Ep. 39: Pretty Pitiful Parents of the Bible
In this episode of Beyond Just Christian Podcast, Brenna discusses some wicked parents of the Bible. These parents are people who didn't fulfill their roles as the nurturing caretakers God calls us to be. Rather, these pitiful parents of the Bible were murderers due to their selfishness, desperation, hunger, and lack of contentment. Most of the parents mentioned in this episode killed their children due to partaking in disobedience towards God and involving themselves in evil, pagan practices which the Lord detests. Because of their disobedience and discontentment towards following God's ways, they've brought harm to those they should've loved and cared for, aka their own children. Ep. 36: My 2024 Commitments
In this episode of Beyond Just Christian Podcast, I talk about my New Year's commitments/goals entering 2024. To help listeners narrow down their own commitments/goals for the new year, I give them four questions to ask themselves, which consist of:
1. What will bring me peace and add productivity to my life?
2. How does this goal/commitment benefit my life?
3. Philippians 4:8 says to think about what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Is this goal/commitment God-honoring?
4. Do I need accountability to make this happen? If so, who can I turn to, to ensure that this commitment/goal is maintained and fulfilled?
Homework: Create a chart of areas of life to set goals. At the top of the chart, include the six categories mentioned below. Try to list 3 to 4 commitments/goals for each category.

Ep. 35: I Shall Not Die But Live Ft. Stephanie Slifko
In this episode of Beyond Just Christian, Brenna is joined by her new friend Stephanie Slifko.
From the time Stephanie was born, death often pursued her. "It started in the womb," she says. Linked to generational curses and bloodlines, Stephanie was indoctrinated into a family of sorcery, witchcraft, and occult practices. Her family often neglected, abused, and shamed her.
Due to the family trauma and severe adversity, she often found herself in circumstances worse than the last. In order to cope with her emotions, Stephanie entangled herself in a life of promiscuity, drugs, and dark magic
Over time, the pain she carried manifested as anger towards God, and she loathed Him with every fiber of her being. Because of the people who had damaged her, she carried a strong misinterpretation of who God was. "Hurt people hurt people," she explains, referencing those who hurt her and those she hurt in return.
When her own strength and power were not enough to satisfy, Stephanie really believed the lie that she'd been better off dead. However, God disagreed. Once she became a daughter of the God she so despised, her desire was not to die but to live.
Today, she encourages listeners to not die in their suffering but to truly live in Christ.
Originally from Fort Meyers, Florida, Stephanie currently lives in Northeastern Pennsylvania with her daughter Lily. She is a full-time home-school mom and teacher, loves to serve her community, and she takes whatever opportunity she has to witness to others about the love of God. By speaking her testimony, Stephanie's desire is to declare the works of the Lord for believers and unbelievers alike.

Ep. 34 Satan is The Biggest Accuser Ft. Jennifer Eikenhorst
On Tuesday, October 4th, 2016, Jenn was driving home with her two daughters. It was late at night when her car and a motorcyclist collided. Jenn and her daughters survived, but the man did not. This night changed Jenn's life forever. On this episode of Beyond Just Christian Podcast, Jennifer Eikenhorst joins Brenna to share her personal and lived-out story. "It was an ordinary day until it wasn't," she says. Jenn had no idea that on this day the life of an innocent man would be taken, and she would be held responsible. She shares with listeners how this tragedy impacted her family, her marriage, her community's view of her, and the family of David- the man whose life was taken. After the accident, Jenn often wrestled with many questions, such as: "Why did this man have to die?" "Will I be faced with prison?" "Will I ever forgive myself?" "Why did God allow this to happen?" Even though the incident was purely accidental, she still struggled with her identity and faith in God, guilt, PTSD, moral injury, and depression. It took constant reliance on the Lord to overcome her new reality and the feelings that pounded her spirit. Though she is reminded daily of her continuous wound, God has given her peace that surpasses all circumstances.
With her honest story, Jenn hopes to remind those in similar situations that their mistakes are covered by the blood of Jesus. She wants people to know that they don't have to take on the identity of the villain because that's not what God calls them to be. She hopes that listeners will learn that Satan is the biggest accuser, and he doesn't want us to forgive ourselves. Meanwhile, God doesn't want us to hate ourselves, nor does He hold things over us. Ep. 27: The Lord Disciplines Those He Loves Featuring Kristy Herman Wheatley
In this episode of Beyond Just Christian, listeners will hear from wife and pet-mom Kristy Herman Wheatley. Kristy is currently 46 years old and her purpose is to make God proud. Yet, growing up she was involved in a very different lifestyle which resulted in feeling far from God despite her love for Him. From the time she was a child, Kristy was raised with the belief that deceased loved ones could come visit their living family members here on earth from heaven. She also partook in tarot cards among other forms of New Age practices, not knowing what she did was glorifying Satan rather than God. Even as a reborn Christian in her adult years, Kristy still seemed to fall into sin. When she stumbled upon Deuteronomy 18:9-14, she felt as if God had given her a spiritual spanking as her wake up call. As Kristy learned about the truth regarding her deceased loved ones and the world she had immersed herself in so deeply, she couldn't ignore the conviction and the discipline that God had spoken to her. It was from that day Kristy's mission for life changed. Kristy reminds her listeners that the world's peace is a counterfeit version to the peace that God has for us. Her goal is to shove Satan down and help others learn that God is the way, the truth, and the life.
