#26 "This is My Journey" ft Tanya Pons

#26 "This is My Journey" ft Tanya Pons

This episode I sit down with Yoga Instructor Tanya Pons, a woman who's built a life for herself by not being afraid to take a path less traveled by many. I met Tanya years ago while still in high school and later in life I met back up with her in college, and even back then you could tell that Tanya was a woman with her own mind. When I was able to meet back up with her for this episode it was a pleasure to see that she had not changed all that much she still was a woman who followed her own path. Throughout the interview, we talked about how she was able to overcome her fears and how she was never too afraid to risk to archive her goals in life. We also discuss some of the pitfalls of working too long in one field when your education background is in another field and the difficulties in switching from one to another. She also speaks to the importance of finding yourself and not giving up on your goals simply because you fall off the track. The overwhelming thing that I took from Tanya is that she is a woman who finds her tribe and learns how to be an individual within that community. So what that being said please enjoy this week's episode and I look forward to hearing your feedback take care and be safe.

If there is one thing I've learned over the span of this podcast is that you have to give people space to find their way to you because you can't push them or force their hand they will come on when its time. So when we finally got the chance to sit down as you will hear in this episode we really talk about the life of freelance Photographer and the ups and downs going out on your own. #34 "The Power of Belief" ft David "Power Talk"

On this episode, I have the great honor to sit down with a young brother by the name of David "Power Talk" a man who has dedicated his life to becoming an entrepreneur and now a motivational speaker here in New Jersey. As we sat down at the Strange moon studio here in Hawthorn NJ and started to discuss his background and how he became to be the person he is today. I quickly began to realize that David is a man who speaks from his heart and lives in his truth. This was highly evident when we spoke about his upbringing in North Carlina to his ups and downs learning how maneuver as a teen growing up in Brick City (Newark). Many times when you meet online motivation speakers or the new age IG speakers they aren't always who they say they are, but with David, you could clearly tell he is who he says he is and for me that was a refreshing reminder that there are still real speakers with real stories to tell in this digital world. So with said I hope you guys enjoy hearing this mans store and thank you for listening.

#32 "IRON MAN" ft Alex Navarrete

#32 "IRON MAN" ft Alex Navarrete

This episode was really good because I had the opportunity to sit down with personal trainer Alex Navarrete, one of the most humble and laid guys I have ever had on the show. The one thing you get from Alex from the start is he has a quiet confidence that can't be easily shaken. Which you can tell came from his belief in himself and his abilities as a trainer. As we sat down and got into the interview I quickly realized that Alex speaks his mind and tells it like it is which one refreshing and what makes him an honest businessman with real ambitions to be more than just another trainer. I really got the feeling that this man wants to create his own lane whether that be acting or modeling or creating his own brand. This and more is what I think you guys will get from this episode. So with that said enjoy the show and like always thank you for taking to check the episode.

#29 "The Directors Cut" ft Claude "QWIZ" Martin

On this episode I sit down with writer / director Claude Martin. I've known Claude for a longtime and it was honor sit down with this man and talk about his journey in the world of production.  In many respect as photography it's very interesting to speak to videographers about the business of video production as these two art forms coincide pretty often. In my experience videographer are some of the most honest and interesting people I know, and you will hear in this episode the man Claude does very little to dispel this notion. As you will hear in this episode his story of ups & downs during his journey in the production industry is one of hard times and great moments. On this episode, I had the amazing opportunity to sit down with a young lady who built her business from her love for mans best friend. #19 "Hustle Man" ft Darrin Chandler Jr.

#19 "Hustle Man" ft Darrin Chandler Jr.

On this episode, I sit down with real estate expert/business consultant Darrin Chandler Jr. A man who's been able to build a reputation as being one of the good guys and a sound businessmen in the real estate industry. Now his story and how he became the man he is today can be attributed his family introducing him to the business world at a young age. As you will hear in the podcast Darrin explains how his father and his family connections to the music industry help shape his life. He also speaks about his own ups and downs he faced being a young entrepreneur trying to get his company off the ground. #17- "The Power of Good Energy" ft Shatara Curry

#17- "The Power of Good Energy" ft Shatara Curry

Episode 17 was a very different show for me simply because we did the interview in a Panera Bread in a local strip mall which was a first for me but my guess comedian Shatara Curry was the real highlight of this experience. She made the interview real and insightful and honestly fun from the jump. Ms. Curry is one of the rare people you meet who are so comfortable in their own skin that they don't let much get to them which in turn allows them to stay focused and push things they don't need to worry about to the side. The one thing I think a lot of people are going to get from this interview is a feeling that Shatara is a ball of good energy and that she has impeccable comedic timing but more so than anything else that she is a fighter and a person who does not give up easily and someone who has a real passion for the path she has chosen in life. So as always enjoy the show and thank you for tuning in.

On this weeks episode, I have the man Mike Da Mayor a Dyckman St. icon and staple of the community. He's been one of the few brothers I've met who's been able to turn his life around and build a strong sense of community around his neighborhood. #14 - "She is Funny" ft Dara Jemmott

This episode I had the honor of sitting down with an old friend of mine who has made the transition from corporate superstar to comedian upstart. Dara Jemmott is very open and honest individual who has overcome some rough times and has navigated the business the world and successfully made the transition from that world to the creative comedic world. The one thing that struck me most about this interview was the fact that she was able to tell her story in such a comedic way that no matter how serious the moment was she was able to make light of it and just let roll off her shoulders. So this is one of those episodes where you are going to hear about someone journey but by the time it's done you are going to feel like you watched comedy special on netflix and your gut hurts from laughing so much now with said enjoy the episode and thanks again for tuning in!!

#13 - "The Move Maker" ft Davon "Klus" England

On this episode, I sit down with cereal entrepreneur Davon "Klus" England a music/business manager from Englewood NJ. In this interview I find a lot about this mans humble beginnings to his now flourishing business ventures. The one thing you are going to learn about him through this interview is that Klus is a fighter he does not give up easily when it comes to his business and taking care of his family. One thing that did stand out to me as we went through the interview is his comment to helping his community through his first love in life which is basketball. In this episode, we dig deep into his love of ball and how he was able to turn that into a yearly community basketball game that helps the youth in the community with backpacks and school supplies. So as always its simple press that play button and relax and enjoy the show!
