HGR Kids: Bring It On

It's been a great season! Join us as we reflect on our favorite memories of season 3, answer some of our listener questions and talk about what to expect in season 4! We appreciate all our listeners and wish you a Happy New Year~

Today we roped a 14 year old missionary's kid into an interview! Aubrey Shepard, with her family, are the missionaries to Jordan! Aubrey stayed up until midnight her time to share some vulnerable moments in her life and how she made it through each of them! She's bold, she's brave, she's chosen. She is also a fellow podcaster reaching out to Apostolic young ladies and that is her podcast motto!

Mary. As in, the mother of Jesus! We all know who she is and her important role, but have you ever stopped to consider how much YOU, a HGR kid, have in common with Mary?! She was just young person believing and word from God and doing her best to see God's will be done. Tune in as we pick through Mary's story of faith and obedience! 

Shoutout to the ladies of The Chosen Podcast who joined us via video call to give some words of encouragement to all the HGR kids! Aubrey Shepherd, 14, got together with some of her friends and decided they wanted to encourage young ladies to be on fire for God! 

10 year old Nathanial Goward helps to run his own suit company. You already know this of course because you listened to our bonus interview with him last season, right?!?!?!? Wes, Will and Mikayla. You know them, you love them. Today we interview each of them about how they came to be living for God and some of the struggles they encountered. Wes and Mikayla are military kids and Will's very existence in the church is a miracle of a backslider who made it back home. Maybe something bad happened to you, maybe you don't have what people label as a normal family, maybe you have a disability, maybe you are an introvert. On this episode we see this in a big way in the life of Nehemiah who was a cupbearer to a king. Listen as we talk about how he made a decision to do something that he wasn't really equipped to do, BUT GOD!

Williams  talk about what it was like for her when her 6 year old son told her that God spoke to him. Sometimes HGR Kids are intimidated to be active in the kingdom of God at such a young age but here is a HGR kid mom talking about how she stood behind her son and believed God with him! Enjoy!

This it!!! The season finale! Today we reflect on all we learned this season! We even give some shout outs to the HGR kids out there! This may be the last episode of season 1, but season 2 is right around the corner!!!

Any HGR Kids out there that just love speaking in front of large audiences?? Imagine bringing the word of God by preaching when you are only 8 years old! You think  we are crazy (and you are right), but not only do we believe God uses kids like this we have Biblical proof (listen to Episode 5 and 10) and a current teenager's testimony to prove it! 

Today is our Say What episode: Fear Edition! They say everyone is afraid of something, yet we don't see everyone hiding with their head in the sand! People work at facing their fears all the time! We talk about this and more as Wes tells about a huge fear of his that he had to work at to conquer. 

Josiah. Must be nice to be king at 8 years old! Probably didn't have to worry about anything... SIKE! Today we begin to explore the idea of Faith Over Fear! Join us as we take a look at a boy king who let his faith lead him!
