By Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service
This is a Podcast for Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service. We hope to showcase a number of people living with dementia, sharing their voices and information that others may find useful about a range of issues that affect people living with dementia.
How to speak to children about dementia
The Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service, a partnership between Alzheimer’s Society and Devon Partnership Trust, has launched this innovative podcast for families with dementia as part of Dementia Action Week (15th to 21st May 2022). Please scroll down to listen to this, or click on Spotify to launch the podcast there.  This podcast is hosted by John Hyde, 65, who has early onset dementia, a grandfather of six who wanted to explore how do you talk to your grandchildren about dementia. On the podcast John talks to his seven-year-old granddaughter and to Sally Townsend, the Dementia Wellbeing Service Community Development Coordinator for schools. This podcast was recorded by Sound Women Bristol.
