This week, we are joined by Barbara Trachte, Secretary of State of the Brussels-Capital Region in charge of Economic Transition and Scientific Research, and Minister-President of the French Community Commission, in charge of the Promotion of Health, the Family, the Budget and the Public Service. In conversation with host Chris Mbangala, she shares with us her plan and her perspectives to achieve an economic transition to a circular economy by 2050 in Brussels.

We have great news! The Global Shapers Brussels Hub is launching a new podcast series called Brussels Inside Out. In this podcast we'll go one on one with exciting speakers to dig into some of the most important issues affecting Brussels residents, and people living in Belgium more broadly. 

Our first set of episodes revolve around social impact projects in Brussels, including on climate change, homelessness, and diversity and inclusion. We'll be talking to experts about the challenges, trends, and the likely and unlikely solutions.
