The Violentest Place On Earth explores my mother's cancer diagnosis while I'm serving the majority of my sentence at MCI Shirley. More shitty cellmates, and levels of scumbagery, abound in this episode.  

In this exciting installment, I talk about being moved to Massachusetts Correctional Institute Shirley, lifers, insanity, and more bad cellmates. 

Dad Is finally sentenced after I see the classification board, and we speak for the first time since court through the window of my cell. During a visit, he's acknowledges the letter, and requests we meet in the yard. 

I continue my description of prison logic through my first few weeks at MCI Concord. Kev seems to want to see me stabbed after I get him moved to the cell next to mine. Nutsy is introduced, and remains one of the top 5 reasons I'll never go back to prison.

I discuss the parade of teachers I have forced into early retirement. 

Prison Logic covers the first few weeks in MCI Concord. Dad still hasn't accepted a plea deal, Kev is in another block, and I'm stuck second hand smoking with a parade of awful cellmates. 

Why I hate being called skinny

After the plea deals are accepted, Kev and I move on to MCI Concord, while dad stays behind in Cambridge because of Rhode Island.

Out on bail, I try to reassemble the life I had prior to my indictment. Things quickly go astray, as I'm asked to participate in 2 state police lineups, which if picked, would yield me double digit numbers, and add charges to Dad and Kev's already heavy caseload. 

Episode 10 continues where episode 9, left off, in Cambridge jail. I work with Kev in the kitchen, meet Charlie Mayhem, and get shipped to another jail because of overcrowding. 

Episode 9 chronicles the post arrest fervor of having to waive extradition and agree to be shipped to Massachusetts.Dad and I see each other for the first time in close to a year, and mom saves my life, again.  

In this bonus episode I talk about my favorite sport, hockey. I also talk about how I trained one of the Bruins, and cover the time I witnessed my friend Tommy use psychological warfare to win a game.   

Formal charges are brought to a Massachusetts grand jury, who formally indicts me on multiple charges. The state police issue warrants for my, and Bill's, arrest and the chase is on to take down the last 2 standing. Officially, this is episode 26, and I was arrested on the 26th of December 1995, and was released on May 26, 1999...26-26-26. 

I talk about the loss, and regret, of a very good friend, someone who molded me, and was there when no one else was. It also includes a bonus story about the cover photo, and the difference between how Kev and I kept our rooms growing up.
