Hey Duckies! How many of you, like us, thought you’d be starting the year off right, by watching some of your favorite past TV shows and current new ones? Maybe catch some fully filmed movies you’ve been anticipating this year, only to see that inevitable list of cancelations. Well, it happened again! In December 2023, after acquiring HBOMax, Warner Brother Discovery released a list of project they have chosen to cancel. The choices have really set people off. Many Latin and LGBTQ+ based shows were canceled, again. But others were real head scratchers. Westworld was not only canceled, but removed from the platform with no word on the future availability. Other projects, like the much anticipated Batgirl, were completely shelved after completing production. This one really hit Manny Oso. With the fate of the critically acclaimed Westworld, ow with it being thrown into the Void, people like him may never get to watch the series. And Nicky Trendz tries to makes sense of it, too. When news broke out over the summer that there would be a film coming out including a portrayal of Cuban dictator, Fidel Castro, Manny Oso questioned the need.
