Its provisions were incorporated in the 2018 United States farm bill that became law on December 20, 2018.”  Most of you know probably know hemp as the plant that is used to create CBD oil, but as you'll find out in this episode it’s so much more than that in Charleston, SC.  This episode's guest’s are Matt Gwynn from The Holi Leaf - a CBD store in West Ashley & Artie Perry, an independent Hemp Industry Advisor in Charleston, SC.

He is a member of the Charleston Area Convention and Visitor Bureau and the Gibbes Museum boards of directors.   For those familiar with the Cooper River Bridge Run, he’s the Interim Executive Director.  He’s been a professor at the College of Charleston and the Charleston School of Law.  Most importantly today he’s a candidate for Mayor of Charleston.
