057 - Hearing God Part 3
God speaks to His children in many ways. The essence of Him speaking is to convey information, provide direction and lead His children in the path of righteousness.
In this final Bible study on hearing God, we learn about listening, receiving and responding to God's words. We also study visions, trances and prophecies as ways God uses to speak to His children.
Finally, we learned to use God's Word and pray in the Spirit to increase our sensitivity to what God is saying.

056 - Hearing God Part 2
God wants His children to hear Him. It is expected that His children not only hear His voice but follow Him. When God speaks, it is clear and leads us in the direction He wants.
In this Bible study, starting from Habakkuk 2 and moving into the Acts of the Apostles, we learn how God speaks. We see the Holy Spirit speaking clearly to Paul hearing an audible voice. We see how angels are God's mouthpiece and how we can set ourselves to hear God through reading the Bible and praying in tongues.
Listen and be blessed.
055 - Hearing God Part 1
Christians want to hear God. It is one of the constants in the prayers you hear today. "I want to hear God's voice," is mentioned often among Christians. They want to hear God's voice about their lives, careers, relationships, ministries, purpose and so on.
In this first part of our study on hearing God, we look at Jesus' words in John 10: 27. As Christians, Jesus says we hear His voice and follow Him.
As we go further, we look at the different ways to discern how God gets our attention and passes information to us.
Listen and be blessed.
054 - Stepping Into Greatness
Do you sense greatness in you but don’t know how to make it a reality? Do you feel called by God but don’t know what to do about it? Then this Bible study is for you.
In this Bible study, we discuss going from knowing or sensing that you are made for me to living it. We study Jesus, Paul and Abraham's journey to greatness.
In this enlightening episode, you will be encouraged and empowered to step into all that God has for you.

053 - How To Get The Fulfilment Of God's Promises
One of the things Christians are known for is their belief in God's promises. Many churches refer to God's promises as being available for all His children. You'll likely find many a service filled with prayers about the manifestation of God's promises.
So, how do God's promises get fulfilled in the life of a believer? This is the focus of this Bible study. We study examples of God's promises and what we can do for the promises to manifest.
Listen and be blessed.
052 - Testimonies - What They Are and Their Purpose
Christians are not unmindful of testimonies. Many of us pray to God for answers to prayers that become testimonies. Our church services have sections for sharing our testimonies of God's goodness.
In this Bible study, we look at Bible scriptures about testimonies, especially in the New Testament. We learn what testimonies are using Revelations 12: 10, Romans 10: 9-10 and Luke 10. We also learn their purpose and what we should do with our testimony.

051 - Learning To Wait In God
Waiting can be a journey that most of us as Christians struggle with. What should we do? What is God doing in the wait? When will we see the performance of His word to us?
If you have been waiting for God to fulfil His promise to you, this Bible study is for you. In this Bible study, using Isaiah 40: 31 as our main text, we learn God's expectation of us in the wait.
We understand what He is doing in us and how we are supposed to be active participants in the wait.
My book, Waiting Gracefully, is a great resource you can read and use in your waiting season alongside studying the Bible.

050 - Understanding Spiritual Warfare
The world is in a fight between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. As believers living on earth, this is something we must be aware of.
The earth is ruled by the kingdom of darkness but we carry the kingdom of light in us. God expects us to bring the kingdom we carry into our world.
In this Bible study, we study Paul's teachings about spiritual warfare in Ephesians 6: 10 - 18. Through this Bible study, we understand our position and the weapons we use to fight from victory.
Listen and be blessed. If you need a community where you can grow spiritually, click https://t.me/+AzSm2slgV7YzY2Rk to join Ariel Community.
We are a community focused on knowing who we are in Christ, growing spiritually and living based on God's Word.
049 - Religious Rules Won't Give You Results
The Old Testament had many rules for the children of Israel to follow as God's people. As we come into the New Testament, we see Jesus show up as a replacement for the rules given to Moses.
In this Bible study, we look at what Christ did and how this changes the rules we follow. Using Colossians 2: 6 - 23, the Apostle Paul encourages to see the freedom we have as believers. It's a freedom from rules and extended spiritual disciplines to prove ourselves to God.
As Christians, we no longer follow rules and act in ways to curry favour with God. We live from the finished work of Christ.
Listen and be blessed.
048 - The Believer And Miracles
Many believers are familiar with miracles, whether by the testimonies of others or by personal experience. Most desire miracles, especially in tight or desperate situations. The miraculous can make such a difference in these kind of situations.
In this Bible study, we look at how believers are meant to relate to miracles. Using the life of Jesus, we study miracles and the circumstances where miracles happen. We also learn God's expectations of New Testament believers and miracles.
Listen and be blessed. Please share these Bible studies with anyone you know who needs these lessons and revelations. If you would like to be part of a community of believers who pray, declare God's Word and grow together, click https://t.me/+AzSm2slgV7YzY2Rk to join Ariel Community.
047 - An Example Showing How To Speak Over Challenging Circumstances
Many Christians face challenges similar to those who are not Christians. We live in a fallen world, filled with challenges. Sometimes, situations arise that seem impossible with no way out.
In this Bible study, we look at an example in the Bible of a situation that seemed dead with no way out. From Ezekiel 37, we hear God's conversations with the prophet in a valley of dry bones. Going through the account, we see the posture and actions we must take when we face dire situations.
Listen and be blessed. From this study, start speaking to your circumstances using the word of God. If you want a community of believers who pray, speak the word and grow together, click https://t.me/+AzSm2slgV7YzY2Rk to join the Ariel Community.
046 - Practical Ways Of Being Consistent With The Word Of God
There are many challenges Christians face in the world today. One of the questions that come up is about reading the Bible consistently. Many desire to read the Bible daily but struggle to.
In this Bible study, we look first at why we need to read the Bible and the benefits of knowing the Word of God. We also look at practical ways to take in the word of God regularly.
Additional ways that can support you in reading your Bible regularly are:
- Make it part of your morning and evening routine. You have certain activities you do before you start your day. Make Bible reading one of those activities.
- Use phone reminders and alarms to remind you to read your Bible for at least 5 minutes.
- Use a Bible plan that helps you read the Bible.
- Join communities and groups where they read the Bible all the time. Be around people with whom your desired result is their normal.
You can join me in my community on Telegram via https://t.me/+AzSm2slgV7YzY2Rk. We pray and read the Bible, Monday to Friday.
045 - The Benefits of Spiritual Sight
As Christians, we are tripartite, that is, spirit, soul and body. We are first spirit beings, who have a soul and live in a body in this earth/natural realm. More often than not, we focus on this natural realm because it is the one that is visible. We live based on what we see and hear day to day.
But there is an unseen realm that is more real than what we see and hear with our natural senses. In this Bible study, using 2 Kings 6: 8-23, we study why we need spiritual sight. We also learn from the Apostle Paul about spiritual sight in Ephesians 1: 15-18 and Colossians 1: 9-10.
To succeed as believers, we must first see what is unseen (using spiritual sight) so that we can shape what is seen. Listen and be blessed.
044 - Experiencing A Wilderness? Here's What You Need To Know
In Christian circles, we often hear about experiencing a wilderness season. When things aren't going well or it seems God isn't answering prayers, people say they are experiencing a wilderness season.
In this Bible study, we look at Deuteronomy 8 which references going through a wilderness. We study to get answers about what seasons like this mean for us as New Testament believers.

043 - This Is What Makes You Righteous
Many believers hear about righteousness and want it. We know that Christians and followers of Jesus must be righteous. In this Bible study, we look at righteousness and what we need to do to be righteous.
Using several chapters and verses in the book of Romans, and reading about Abraham's righteousness, we study how we become righteous. Listen and share with other believers who need to hear how to be righteous and right standing with God.

042 - Jesus Died and Rose For You To Have All This
Many believers know that Jesus died and rose on the 3rd day. With this came salvation and the chance to get to heaven. Yet, there is a lot more to Jesus's death and resurrection for believers. In this Bible study, we look at the finished work of Christ and what it accords to the New Testament believer.
We look at why Jesus came to the earth in the first place, what He achieved and what benefits we get from believing in Him. We also look at the Law and how believers under the new covenant must see themselves concerning the law.
The foundational scripture in this Bible study is John 19:28-30 NLT. Listen and be blessed.

041 - Use What You Have To Get More
At the start of a new year, we usually have expectations and hope for bigger and better blessings. To be able to gain more, we need to use what we already have.
In this Bible study, we look at the parable of the talents in Matthew 25: 14-30 TPT. We see God's expectations of us and how we can achieve more this year.
Listen and be blessed. Your 2024 is blessed. God has already given you everything you need to succeed this year.

040 - Getting Your Word For The Year Ahead
This time of year can be a joy and a struggle simultaneously.
One feeling that most of us tend to have at this time is a feeling of expectation. We hope the new year will bring new opportunities, blessings and breakthroughs.
As Christians, we often hear that we should ask God for a word about the coming year.
This word will be an anchor for us throughout the year.
Many churches have a word or theme for the year and many of us hold on to what that word is.
This is a great time of the year to get God's view on the year ahead.
In this Bible study, we look at what God's Word says about the word we receive. We study how to receive that word and what to do to bring it into reality.
The main scripture verses are Isaiah 55: 10-11 and 2 Corinthians 1:20.
039 - Don't Worry
Many of us know not to worry but in reality, we do. We worry about everything, fixating on the worst-case scenario. So, how do we do it in reality?
Jesus was talking to His disciples in Matthew 6 and then got into a conversation about worry. There was a key phrase He made that every believer should take note of.
In this Bible study, we consider Jesus' words and what we can do not to worry. Key Scriptures are Matthew 6:25-34 and Philippians 4:6-8.
Listen and be blessed.
038 - Be childlike
Jesus consistently taught the whole time He was on earth. He never missed an opportunity to teach His disciples on the new way of life for those who believed in Him.
In this Bible study, we read about an encounter Jesus had with His disciples and the lessons He wanted them, and us, to draw from it.
Our study is taken from Mark 10: 13-16 in the NLT. Listen and be blessed.
037 - Unlocking a new season and making it your reality
For months, God has been telling me that we, the Body of Christ, stand in a new season. It's not dissimilar to the start of a new year. A new season is pregnant with so many possibilities but how do we make that real in our lives?
In this Bible study, using Song of Songs 2:11-15 TPT, we see how to do this. We learn:
- The signs of a new season so we can recognise the season we are in
- What can stop us from recognising the new season we are in
- How to make a new season your living, breathing reality
Listen and be blessed. Please share this episode with those you love so they can experience the new season God has for them too.
036 - How focus births God's promises
Many of us believe in God for one thing or the other. We may want Him to give us a job, help us connect with our spouse or heal a loved one. As we go on the journey of believing God for a miracle or help, we may read His word and see what it says about that situation.
But how do we go from knowing what God has said, in His Word or personally to us, to seeing it in reality? In 1 King 18, we study how Elijah took God's promise and brought it into reality.
We learn how focus can bring into reality God's promises to us. Listen and be blessed.
035 - Consider the thoughts of your heart
Many believers don’t realise the importance of what we say in our hearts. We think our lives are only directed by the words that we say out loud. But many instances are seen in the Bible where people thought in their hearts along certain lines and God responded.
We study the stories of Sarah, the rich man, Lucifer and the words of Jesus in this Bible study. Their stories show us the power of our thoughts and what we are saying with our thoughts.
Scriptures are Genesis 18:9-15, Luke 12:16-20, Matthew 6:31 and Isaiah 14:12-13.
Listen and be blessed. If you want a community of believers who pray together, read the Word of God and want to grow, then join us on our Telegram group.
034 - Practical steps to grow your intimacy with God
Intimacy with God is a close relationship with God via the Holy Spirit. As believers, we should be daily growing our relationship with God. But how do we do so in a fast-paced, busy world?
This Bible study goes into a key foundation of our walk as believers. We study what we need to get started and grow a relationship with God. From having a desire to grow the relationship to how to fast, we study the building blocks of intimacy with God.
Scriptures: Mark 6:46-47, Luke 10:38-42 and Joshua 1:8. Scriptures mentioned in passing: John 7:1-5, 14:15-26, 15:26, 16:13-14, Act 2.

033 - Should Christians do deliverance?
In Christian circles today, you don't need to be a believer for very long before you hear the word deliverance. It is often spoken that long standing issues or issues with the demonic, covenants or curses need deliverance sessions.
In this Bible study, we study the Word of God to see what it says about deliverance for the believer. Should we do deliverance and if we do need it, what form should the deliverance take? Using Luke 4: 16-21, Isaiah 61: 1-3, Ephesians 6: 10-18 and John 8:32, we study what deliverance means and how the believer accesses it.
Listen and be blessed. Please share with your family and friends so they can be blessed too.
032 - Lifestyle Christianity without Christ is a NO
In today's world, many Christians, believers inclusive, present a version of Christianity akin to being a lifestyle blogger. We present lives that have God as a veneer but lack a depth in and understanding of Him. We treat God as a genie who helps us achieve our goals but never think to ask Him, what is His goal in general and in particular to us.
In this Bible study, we see how Paul describes this type of lifestyle in 2 Timothy 3. We learn how we are expected to live as believers so that we don't embody this shallow form of Christianity.
Listen, be blessed and share with a friend or 3 who this would help.
031 - If you're going to know God, you need to do this
The Apostle Paul talked a lot about growing in the knowledge of God. As a believer, you must grow in your knowledge of God. How do you do this? By spending time in the Word of God, the Bible.
In this Bible study, we look at Paul's words to Timothy, about spending time in the Bible. Using 2 Timothy 3: 14-17, we see the essence of Scripture and why God has provided it to us.
Please take this episode as your encouragement to read the Bible every day. Your life will be transformed as you do. Listen and be blessed.
030 - A different perspective on dreams
More often than not, you will hear a believer say, "God speaks to me through dreams." A good portion of believers take stock of what they see in their dreams when they sleep and use it in directing their actions.
In this Bible study, we look at the scriptures to see how believers are meant to relate to dreams. Using John 10: 27, Matthew 1: 18-end, Genesis 37:1-11, Romans 8:14 and Joel 2: 28, we study how believers should relate to their dreams.
Listen, be blessed and share with anyone who needs to hear it.
029 - The power of knowing who you are and what you have
One of the reasons many Christians struggle with Christianity and God is that they aren't seeing results from their spiritual activities. Prayers aren't getting answered, negative experiences abound and life looks nothing like what the pastor teaches.
To experience the life that God has for us, we must know who we are and what we have in Christ Jesus. In this Bible study, we look at Ephesians 2, 6, Isaiah 53:4-5 and 1 Peter 2:24 to see who we are in Christ Jesus.
As we study, we get to see the finished work of Christ and how we can change our lives through our identity. Listen and be blessed. Please share this with anyone who needs to hear this too.
028 - What are you looking at?
In this Bible study, we reflect and study the effect of what see on our lives as believers.
Using 2 Corinthians 2:18, Romans 10:17 and Matthew 6: 22-23, we study what happens to us based on what we are reading and watching. We see the effects of sight and why paying attention to what we are letting past our eyes is important.
We also study the effect of seeing the word of God regularly. Listen and be blessed.
027 - Get up and walk
Many believers know God is real and that miracles can happen. But when a desire takes a while to be fulfilled, people lose hope and sometimes, it seems as though it might never happen.
In this Bible study taken from John 5: 1-9, we look at the story of the man by the pool of Bethesda. We study his interaction with Jesus and learn what God expects us to do when we are faced with a similar situation.
Listen and be charged as this Bible study is a charge to all who listen.
026 - Know your authority
One of the words you will hear bandied around in Christian circles is authority. You'll hear preachers and teachers tell Christians that they have authority but what does that mean?
As believers, we need to know what we have been given through Christ Jesus. In this Bible study, we look through the scriptures at God's original plan for man, how authority traded places and the way authority is exercised.
Scriptures referenced Genesis 1, 2 and 3, Luke 4: 5- 8, Colossians 2: 9-10, 15, Ephesians 1:19-22 and Matthew 28:18-20.
025 - A kingdom of words
As believers, we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into a kingdom of light. How things worked before we became believers is different to how things work in this new kingdom.
The way this kingdom operates is by words. In this study, we see how God created all that we see by using words. We studied Genesis 1, Genesis 2:7 and Hebrews 11:3 to see how words shaped what we see today.
As believers, we speak and then we see the reality of what God has promised us. Our words are the missing link between what God said and what we are experiencing.
Listen and be blessed.
024 - Sin and what to do to be without it
Many of us believers have been told we should not sin since we could talk and act. From a young age, we've had those who had charge of us tell us not to do the wrong things. In the church today, we spend loads of time asking God to forgive us our sins.
What is God's take on sin? What do we need to do to overcome sin? In this Bible study, we look at sin and the work of Christ concerning it. We study Hebrews 10, Romans 3 and 2 Corinthians 5 to understand sin and how to deal with it so it doesn't deal with us.
Listen and be blessed. Please share with your friends and loved ones who need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. God bless you.
023 - How are you acting?
Believers were described by Jesus in Matthew 5 as salt and light. The epistles and most of the New Testament talk a lot about how believers are supposed to be and act because of the Holy Spirit in them.
In this Bible study, as we continue understanding the fundamentals of our faith, we study the character of a believer. We study 1 Timothy 3: 1-9 and Galatians 5:22-25 in the Amplified version.
We learn about the kind of fruit we should produce because of the Holy Spirit in us. Listen and be blessed as you listen.
022 - Getting God's promise fulfilled in your life
God has made many promises to the Body of Christ through His Word. As believers, we have to lay hold of these great and precious promises so that we can see them fulfilled in our lives.
As we continue our understanding of the foundations of our faith, we study 2 Corinthians 1:20. In this study, we see what God has said about His promises for those of us who are in Christ Jesus. We learn about what Christ has done for us to access the promises and how we can see those promises fulfilled in our lives.
Listen and be blessed. Please share with a friend or two so they can be blessed too.
021 - Is it possible to be righteous like God?
What is righteousness? How do we access it? What do we have to do to keep or maintain it? Can we lose our righteousness? Can we even be righteous as God is?
Using various verses in the book of Romans, Philippians and 2 Corinthians 5, we study righteousness, what it means and how a believer is made righteous.
Listen and be blessed. If this podcast blesses you, please share it with your friends and on your social media. Feel free to tag me on https://www.instagram.com/bunmioduah/ and I'll share on my stories.
020 - Settle the matters of your faith
Faith is usually the first step for a believer. It takes faith to believe in Jesus, confess that He is Lord and surrender your life to Him. But after that, what next? In this Bible study, we continued our study on the basics every believer should know.
We studied 2 Peter 1: 1-9, Galatians 5:1 and 1 John 1:5 as we built an understanding of who God is, who Jesus is and what we have as believers. Listen and be blessed.
019 - Let's get back to the basics
Every believer needs to know certain basic truths about their faith, God, Jesus and life in the kingdom. The sad truth is many don't based on a lack of the gospel being taught in the Body of Christ.
In this Bible study, we go back to the basics and foundational truths that every believer must know. This is the first part in the series as we learn the foundational truths of a believer. Our foundational scripture is 2 Peter 1: 5 - 8. Listen and be blessed.
018 - Get accurate with God's Word and change your reality
Many believers know the scriptures. We get to see and hear Bible verses from soundbites in the Sunday sermon to WhatsApp broadcast messages. Then we hear people's interpretation of scriptures and sometimes take them hook line and sinker.
This Bible study examines what it means to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2: 15). Using Matthew 6:33, we learn not only to divide the word of God accurately but also what it means to seek the kingdom.
017 - Let's settle this salvation matter
Salvation in its simplest form is being saved from death and restored back to God. Man and God had an intimate relationship but in Genesis chapter 3, there was a separation between them due to sin. Salvation is a gift for all the world but what does it mean? When we become saved, do we stay saved or can we lose our salvation? Do we have to work to keep our salvation?
In this Bible study, our main Bible reference is John 2:16. We also looked at Hebrews 7 and Ephesians 2. Listen and be blessed. Also, please share this episode with your communities and networks. Let others receive God's revelation of salvation.
016 - This is why you shouldn't compare
God has a plan for all our lives is a phrase we hear often in Christian circles. We hear it over and over but what does it mean? In this Bible study, we study the scriptures in Psalm 139:14-16 and Psalm 119:6 to understand what God has planned for our lives.
We learn how comparison can take us out of alignment with God's plan. We also learn how to live a life devoid of comparison so that we can live the one God has for us.
015 - Faith: understanding and growing it
As believers, we need faith to live the life that God has for us. What then is faith? Faith in the simplest of terms is to believe. It is to have a conviction about something or someone, in our case, God and Jesus.
To grow your faith, you must first understand what faith is and the part it plays in your life. We study Romans 1:17, 10: 9-10 & 17 and James 2:14-18 in this Bible study. We learn what faith is, the part it plays and how to grow our faith so we can access what God has for us.
Listen and be blessed. If you know someone who needs to hear this message, please share it with them.
014 - The role of the Holy Spirit
When Jesus was on the earth, He operated by the power of the Holy Spirit. As He prepared to leave, He told His disciples about the Holy Spirit, a Helper He would give them to be with them. As believers of Jesus Christ, we have the same Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God in us. Yet, to fully enjoy Him, we must know His role in us.
We must also know how to grow our relationship with Him so that He can have His fullest expression through us. In this Bible study, we study John 14: 16-17, 26, John 16: 13 and Acts 1: 8 to see the role of the Holy Spirit and what He can do with us.
013 - You're in charge of your feelings
Feelings are totally normal. They act similar to the sensors on a car, telling you what is happening in and around you. The challenge is when they rule and dictate how we live and function as people. They were never to be leaders but a guide to heighten our awareness. As believers, we must know what our feelings represent and how to manage them.
In this Bible study, we study how the psalmist in Psalm 42:9-11 dealt with his feelings. We see how we articulated how he was feeling and the posture he took. We also look at Apostle Paul's admonition to us about how we are responsible for how we feel based on what we think. We see this in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
You are more in control of how you feel than you think. Don't live subject to the rise and fall of your feelings.
012 - Praying the right way for results
Many Christians pray but they do it as though they are shooting at a target they can't see. People don't know if their prayers will be answered which is contrary to how Jesus prayed. Jesus prayed knowing His prayers would be answered and He expects the same of us.
In this Bible study, we study how to pray like Jesus so that we are praying in alignment with God. We can pray accurately, knowing that our prayers will be answered. As we go through Matthew 6, John 17 and 1 Corinthians 14, we see how we should pray as believers.
011 - Knowing the will of God will get you answered prayers
We pray and then wonder why God doesn't respond. When this happens over and over, we can become discouraged and upset with God. The reason we don't get answers sometimes is because we ask God to validate our desires, instead of His will.
God wants to fulfil His will in our lives. All the blessings of God are attached to His will for us. In this bible study, we look at the story of Jesus and how He lived His life on earth according to the will of God.
010 - How to get your prophecy fulfilled
Prophecies are part and parcel of the life of a believer. The Bible is filled with so many prophecies about Jesus, believers and what God is doing. In our modern times, these can seem far removed but prophecies are being spoken every day. When you get a prophecy or prophetic word, it is pointing you to God's heart concerning you in the future. So, how do you get the prophecy to come to pass?
In this Bible study, we see how Jesus interacted with prophecy and ensured it came to pass. We see what Jesus did in John 12: 12-16 and Matthew 3: 13- 17 to ensure that the prophecies spoken concerning Him came to pass. You can do the same thing too with your prophecies. If this episode blesses you, please share it with a friend or two.
009 - Do you know what you have?
As Christians, many of us know that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for us. If people ask if we are saved, we might answer in the affirmative. This is great but there is more to our salvation than just being saved.
In this episode, we study the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Our focus is on the latter verses where we are introduced to the older son. Many preachers share about the older son’s jealousy but we need to study what led to his reaction.
As Christians, we can be like the older son when we don’t know what we have. Listen and learn what is yours through Christ.
008 - How to get out of an impossible situation
Life happens. We face challenges but some challenges are tougher than others. You lose a job and none seems to be on the horizon. A loved one falls sick. You have a mountain of debt and everyone wants their money like yesterday. How do you get out of such a situation as a believer?
We see the answer in 2 Kings 4:1-7. In this bible study, we study how a woman who was in debt was rescued thanks to the help of the prophet. And no, he didn't give her the money but showed her how to use what she had to get out of the situation she found herself in.
In this episode, you will learn that challenges are common to all but how we respond as believers should be different.
