Thought Bubble EP6  - Who holds the Responsibility for Mental Health on University Campuses? The IPO of BTS’s music agency and Discussing the Apple Event

In this episode, we break down the Biden and Trump town hall, highlighting some funny points of discussing that we thought could make a good debate on the show. Biden is OK with transgender kids, Trump dodges tax questions, refuses to say mask wearing is good and comes up with more fake news. We talked about our favourite Apple products after the Apple event and discuss the IPO of Big Hit entertainment (BTS’s music agency) which was the largest IPO in the past 3 years in South Korea (WHAT?!). In our debate section we talked about the role that universities play in ensuring mental health with university students. We hope you enjoy this week’s episode!

Thought Bubble EP2 - Waterloo Professor calls Covid-19 a Fake Pandemic, Paul George is MIA and Amazon Invests in ex-Tesla CTO’s New Company

Jonny and Brady are back with some more banter with this week’s episode of Thought Bubble. Jonny’s ego takes a hit as Brady’s trashes the University of Waterloo because one of Waterloo’s professors called COVID a fake pandemic. We talk about the resurgence of COVID around the world, especially in Europe. More TikTok news, Apple news and information about Amazon’s $2B climate pledge fund. Our debate questions for this week are: Should the government be bailing out these small/medium-sized businesses? Why is there so much skepticism towards professional governing bodies like the CDC and the WHO? Why are the Clippers trash?

14: Why kids lie, what impact parents have on their kids, learning not to care about what others think and other thoughts from a 12 year old with Martin Tai

Welcome back to Episode 14 of the Broaden Your Perspective podcast. This is a special episode for me because I sat down and had a very deep talk with my 12 year old cousin Martin. If you remember the first guest I've ever had on this show, John Tai. This is his son. Martin's perspectives as a 12 year old is astonishing and he shares his insights on what goes on through his mind. I think that everybody can benefit from listening to this episode, especially parents. We tend to think that kids are kids, they don't get the "adult" stuff, but Martin is here to shatter that stereotype. Listen in as we cover a variety of topics and Martin answers some tough, tough questions that I throw at him. We start off with the very first question, a la Tony Robbins: who's love did you crave the most growing up? You're mother or your fathers?. Without further ado, here, we, go.
