It’s Easter ladies so whilst Clobber Swapping we are stuffing our faces with chocolate and enjoying time with our families. I discuss some thought provoking topics such as manifestation and God - what do you believe? I also discuss my sister Janine it’s her 60th Birthday today (31/3) and she was my saviour as a child, find out why!

I couldn’t have wished for more visiting Montmartre in Paris, it was absolutely fantastic. The culture, the cafes, the bars, and of course the fashion. I was able to take all of my amazing and favourite outfits from my dear Clobber members, and I felt fabulous.

We have so many members In our wonderful sustainable fashion platform on Facebook. We talk about Spring 23 fashion; trench coats, floral patterns, lilac and pink colours are popular, we also discuss amazing treatments for our hair and whether or not we should make wearing wigs the norm.

It’s our 3rd birthday ladies and gents and what a surprise to find that we are no 8 in the Google ranking when you type in best Fashion podcast UK. Whoop!

We are talking fashion and beauty this week with special guest Joanna Louise Baxter. Hear why 52 year old Joanne never bought second hand before Clobber Swap and why she loves our group. Joanne also answers some quick fire beauty questions and reveals why she has the motivation as a single parent to keep fighting through each week.

I wasn’t expecting to hear so many clobber members feeling under the weather this week. It reminds me why we have to ask our friends and family members if they’re actually ok? Don’t accept a “fine” answer we know women aren’t fine when they answer using this non descript word. I asked a male friend if he was ok this week and I wasn’t expecting his answer! Q - Do we need more testosterone ladies? Hear the pros and cons for taking this alongside HRT! Lee said I definitely don’t need testosterone as I’ve already got enough!! Lol Cheeky! I actually agree with him. Finally, it’s the season for cardigans and chunky knits, there has been some fab items on Clobber Swap so please don’t forgot to tempt people with your wardrobe; let’s aim to keep the pennies in our purses and “swap”! It’s guilt free shopping that way!

“We love our Winter wardrobes don’t we, we love snuggly jumpers, teddy coats, pleathers, capes and hats. Long boots, maxi dresses and gilets make the perfect Autumn outfit. I also discuss the importance of good skin care when you go through menopause; Vichy serum is supposedly the best. I also discuss fabulous women who decide “enough is enough”. We have some real warriors in our group and we like nothing better than to help get them get through the tough times. I met our latest warrior this week, I was so excited to see her.

I talk about how we all felt after our Queen’s funeral. I discuss some of the amazing swaps I’ve done and what special gift I left in the pocket of a coat I clobber sold. I also tell you why an ex colleague told me off for setting up Clobber Swap 3 years ago and why he was deeply concerned for Lee. We’ve had the best results on clobber swap since inception, find out what bargains I’ve seen and why sustainable fashion is at an all time high! I also took my son to Rassam’s creamery in Wakefield, but did we enjoy it??

I talk about our wonderful Queen, and the sadness of losing her as monarch. I also talk about new members being a little too giddy and annoying older members for not reading the rules. Giving prizes away and finding out a members father, lives next door to the house I lived in as a child. I also have a plea for members to help a lady who has started up on her own with nothing but her kids to give her the strength to survive. She has endured a difficult 7 years and has escaped mental abuse and I would love us all to help her.

Aww I’ve Missed you, but needed to prioritise what’s important at home but so pleased I’m back. Omg clobber swap has increased significantly over night by nearly a thousand people, so lots of love and kudos to style Queen Heidi Ondrak and her TokTok fame. What else have I been upto, a bit of wild swimming perhaps… errrrr well let’s see if it was me and let’s live in the moment to help our mental state and bring joy to your life by being positive and lifting others.

I’ve loved talking this week, I chat all things fashion, holiday clobber, the wonderful Ikos resorts Greece and why we got stranded in Kefalos. I also share my six magic beauty tips and why I can’t live without LV lash lifts.

I have loved this weeks clobber cast; it’s been so amazing on clobberswap. There’s so many items of clothing and for me I realise I have too many beach cover ups, so don’t let me buy anymore. Being grateful for my sisters and my mum being so wonderfully glam, present and strong. Packing for Greece and what I will wear and finally how to battle daily challenges be more Moira.

Week 14 - wow what don’t I talk about, I probably go on and on this week to make up for last week. I share some fashion tips, I talk about our wonderful clobber members, free clobber gifts, competitions to WIN, shoulder shuffles and moonwalks and last but not least, my favourite beauty products.

This week’s episode discusses style tips, how we can all improve our appearance and why I love body scars. I also talk about a clobber members dark secret of her toxic attraction to Instagram and how it affected her through the pandemic. Don’t miss it.

I chat about summer holidays, clobber morals and RASAC the charity who supports sexual and domestic violence victims. I also tell you about a holiday that resulted in us nearly having to fly home on the first night before having to consider the option of sharing a villa with a psycho couple we’d never met.

I was overwhelmed with last weeks feedback to Clobber cast 9. I received voice notes from members crying after listening which is why I’m so glad I booked up the courage to publish it. This weeks episode is a little brighter and I tell you about my marriage proposal and how we ended up being stranded in a desert and all about our new #Clobberlove book!

The episode discusses all the latest fashions and what is an amazing help to your feet. I also discuss a very dark time in my early years of being a mum. Whilst my son and I have an amazing bond today, it took nearly 3 years to get properly connected to mum life and to get used to balancing my full time career as a media owner in advertising as well as having to play happy mum when I was feeling depressed and suffering from PND.

Why do we feel invisible in our older years. Let’s love ourselves more and enjoy living the life we control. Thank Goodness I had a real friend who I dedicate this episode to; the wonderful Jayne Crossley who was a ladies day pro and looked after me, when I nearly gagged eating the posh breakfast.

We’ve had an amazing week on clobber swap. We’ve seen over 100 new members this week, women of all ages and sizes. I chat about everything including a happy and sad moment early 2020. Body confidence is important, let’s accept ourselves for who we are and wear the Spanks! I offer style tips to find YOU! Don’t be afraid to experiment and develop your own style using a variety of sources.

Our wonderful Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations, hospital white lies and extra days, fashion giveaways, having the confidence to know your worth and making changes in your life to improve things. I also discuss how to reduce anxiety through acceptance and feeling happy with yourself, instead of comparing yourself with other people.

This week, I talk about all sorts including beauty tips and championing the latest winged eye look. I also share who my influencers were as a kid and why Clobber Swap is too good not to be part of it. We have 3000 posts and 13000 + comments every month, this group saves you a fortune, you meet women like you and find clobber buddies. It’s a positive support network where we chat all things fashion, make-up, menopause, health and well-being.
