Hockey is back and Canucks & Pucks are in Season 2!

Dan and I get together for a free agency recap episode that saw Jacob Markstrom go to the Calgary Flames and Braden Holtby sign with the Canucks. We discuss that, the collapse of the OEL trade discussions, Tanev's potential departure, and more!

Dan and I get a new member of Canucks Twitter on the show in the form of Zayne (@theorcaoverseas). We start with a discussion on the hot topic of the week, which was Oliver Ekman-Larsson and the trade rumours surrounding him. We also delve into his team for the 2020-21 season and the moves he would make.

Sam from The Broadscast, Area 51 Hockey, and Rob Fai Nation Radio drops by to discuss the Canucks and sit in the GM's chair for our latest Be a GM segment. We discuss everything from who they should have in goal, the bottom-six, and the defence core for the 2020-21 season. It was an amazing episode with one of the up and coming stars in Canucks Nation and the sports world. Don't miss this one!

Clay Imo drops by the podcast for the third time to preview a new Canucks playoff series! We are two for two! Flying solo in this one, I discuss with Clay the growth of the Canucks during the St Louis Blues first-round series, Quinn Hughes, Jake Virtanen, Tyler Motte, and the coaching of Travis Green. We also rant a little about the Blues players and coaches not giving the Canucks much respect for how they ultimately beat them in the end.

Then we preview the second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights and talk about the Canucks' chances of moving on to the third round.

He also predicts and announces the first Canucks goal for Game 2 against the St. Louis Blues!

Dan and I discuss the Canucks Game 1 victory over the St Louis Blues and our overall thoughts on the other first-round matchups so far. We discuss among other things Jake Virtanen's disappearing act in the game, Bo Horvat's monster performance, Troy Stecher's goal for his father and the character, and tight-knit nature the team is displaying right now. We also discuss how each team has to stay out of the box, and how the Canucks' defence needs to improve for Game 2.

In this supersized 14th episode, Dan and I sit down and preview all eight playoff series and predict where each series will end up. We also give our key players and who will ultimately come out of the West and East. Then we each pick a team to win it all.

We had a great conversation breaking down the Vancouver Canucks one and only exhibition game against the Winnipeg Jets. We also discussed some takeaways from the game and what it means going forward in the series against the Minnesota Wild. Among other things, we talked about Jake Virtanen's absence from the lineup, Elias Pettersson's potential for greatness in the playoffs, Jacob Markstrom, and the rust shown by many players on both sides. We even talked a little about the Jets!

In Episode 7 of Canucks & Pucks, I talked with GLCPC founder and Vancouver Canucks Youtuber Clay Imoo (@CanuckClay) about Jake Virtanen, the upcoming matchup against the Minnesota Wild, the final scrimmage and his thoughts on the lineups.
