Viktoria Korzhova - Science management, science communication and product management
Today I chat to Viktoria Korzhova, who came all the way from Russia to do a PhD in Neuroscience at LMU in Munich. During her PhD she was involved with multiple science communication projects, including Pint of Science, Soapbox Science and 15x4, as well as career counseling. After her PhD she went into science management as IMPRS graduate school coordinator at the Max Planck Society, followed by a job as application specialist and finally landing as Product Manager for Product People. Paola Garcia - Government sustainability department
Today I chat to Paola Garcia, who currently works in a boundary institution at UNAM, Mexico. After her PhD at the University of Plymouth, UK, she returned to Mexico to work in the department for the sustainability department of the Mexican government. After a while she started missing the rigour of academia, and now she's working on two projects trying to shape policy based on research data.
