62 Words by Carla M. Wilson
Carla M. Wilson reads her flash fiction text “62 Words,” which first appeared (as a slightly altered version) in Black Scat Review #16, The Obsession Issue in 2016. This text was originally 100 words and was later submitted to a contest that specified a 62 word count. Although this piece was highly favored by the judges, it turned out the abbreviated version actually has 65 words, and was therefore ineligible to win the contest.
