Boundaries and Self-preservation.

Boundaries and Self-preservation.

If you think of what you might lose by not drawing boundaries, it’s way more than what you stand to lose by drawing your boundaries. It's the 10th episode! Thanks for staying around for 10 episodes! Cheers to more episodes, finding our path, breaking free, and doing what calls to us. ❤️🏵️❤️

The toxicity that comes with taking a stance

The toxicity that comes with taking a stance

Usually when we take an uncommon stance, we do not expect the backlash we get. This stuff is real. And it’s something you never actually prepare for totally, except you have been a deviant for a while. I would like to say that no one truly means you bad when they recoil at your stance, well, I guess they don’t, some do especially if it affects them.

The monster you compain of; you can easily become

Grace sees herself as an agent of change. She is a person of integrity and high moral values. She thinks getting the chance to instigate change would mean the world to her. She gets the chance and sees that things are different here. Grace becomes confused. Listen to my thoughts on this. Music: Soothing Relaxation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCOF9LN_Zxs)

Why self-compassion is necessary

Why self-compassion is necessary

Knowing the why of what we do makes us more mindful with such thing...We cannot face the harsh world and not make ourselves our home. Compassion entails trust- knowing that you are on your path and will be fine eventually, it entails reasoning- you are not a victim, things did not go as planned, would you take out some time? Do you want to restrategize? Compassion entails boldness- being able to stand your ground and be protective of yourself and your decision. Music: Relaxing Piano Music. Online influence—how it has helped me and how it has affected me.

Online influence—how it has helped me and how it has affected me.

In a world with everyone occupied and you having to figure out things by yourself, the internet might be a good place. To find people going through the same stuff as you and to see that you are not weird. The internet though, does not come without it's disadvantages. What then happens when such a useful tool that is capable of putting things in perspective for you is the same tool that triggers you?

On being accepting and less judgemental

On being accepting and less judgemental

Here in the final episode, I am of the opinion that: the whole human race's survival is hinged on understanding that we are all collectively affected. We are all involved. The suffering of one sect is an indication that we are not totally liberated.

Is it really a joke?

Is it really a joke?

Jokes are psychological, in that, if we can get to laugh about certain things then we might as well be fine with them and even incorporate them into our lifestyle. So, it’s necessary that no one is going to be triggered by what we claim is funny. Also, the fact that something is widely accepted does not mean it makes sense. A joke or post that has thousands of views does not mean it is funny.

Frugality coming from a place of lack/abundance.

Frugality coming from a place of lack/abundance.

How easy can financial prudence be when coming from a place of lack/abundance? Is it easy to go from a place of never having enough to a place where you decide to stick with the basic needs and a few want? Or is it even more easy when you had (more than) enough and now to a place where you decide to stick with your basic needs and a few wants?
