When I get to spend time with my grandkids who live 3000 miles away, I'm jealous of my time with them and that's how God is with us. He is jealous of our time and doesn't want to share it with anything else. This week we are going to look at the name El Qanna, God is Jealous, and see what this means to us.

One of the names used to describe God in the Old Testament is Jehovah Nissi which means, the Lord is our Banner. So, what did they mean by that? Let's take a look at this name in this weeks podcast.

This is the 4th episode in our series on The Names of God. This week we are looking at the name, Jehovah Jireh, which means The Lord Will Provide.

Do you ever feel like you're all alone? Do you feel like there is no one there for you? Well, if you are a child of God, you never need to feel that way, because, no matter where you are, He is There. That's the name of God we want to talk about today, Jehovah Shamma - The Lord Is There.

I love the Hebrew names that the Bible uses for God, they each describe a different attribute of Him. Over the next several weeks we will be looking at some of the different Hebrew names of God. This week we'll look at the name Elohim.

We often refer to 1 Corinthians chapter 13 as the "Love Chapter" but don't really think about what it is saying beyond that. Let's take a deep look in to this chapter and see what God is trying to tell us through it.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with those memes that say, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." The danger comes when it just becomes another cliche. Let's talk about that in this episode.

I realize that Doulos is a strange sounding word. It is actually a Greek word that means, "a bond-servant." Listen to this week's podcast and see what the Bible has to say about this strange word.

As we study God's word, we must do the work of keeping it in the context of the whole Bible, we can never put our own interpretations on it. If you believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, verbally inspired Word of God, then how can you put your fallible interpretation on it. The Bible must be studied in the context of the entire Bible and taken literally. Today we will talk about one example of how interpreting the Word of God can cause division in the Church, the Body of Christ.

In Matthew 12:25 Jesus said, " Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart." He was using this to explain that He could not be of Satan, bu the principal still applies. Any house divided will fall and that is what has happened to His Church. We are divided into different denominations and subgroups that there is no way we can be effective. To be effective in this world, we must come together as One Body.

Throughout the New Testament the Bible tells us what will happen when we are In Christ, but what does that mean? In this week's episode we will look at what the Bible says about being In Christ.

This is a follow-up to our last episode, A Lesson on Prayer, and answers some frequently asked questions like; When should I pray, how should I pray, how long should I pray, and what should I pray for? I hope you get as much out of this as I got out of studying it.

Happy New Year! What better way to start out a new year than talking about prayer. New believers and seasoned believers alike have a considerable amount of questions about the Christian life. Not surprisingly, many of these questions have to do with Prayer. In the next few minutes we will look at everything from what is known as The Lord's Prayer, to what Paul had to say about prayer.
